HI, first time posting please be easy on me.
I am looking for a ROM whcih can support Tmobile 4G network.
I have tried [LeeDROiD, Android Revolution HD, they both connect as " Edge" not 4G, does anyone knows how do I fix it?
All roms will show H there may be a ROM that shows the 4G symbol but it will simply be a mod to show that. T-MOBILE doesn't have true 4G service most people describle it as 3.5 or 3.75G. I'm using LeeDroid now and it holds a signal very well but I still have to test other roms to see what I want to stick with until CM7 comes.

I have updated my mytouch 4g from rc4 to the stable release (7.0.3) and since updating I have noticed a horrible reception issue. Before the update I had 4g almost everywhere and of I didn't I had 3g , now I barely ever have a 4g signal and when I do it bounces from 4g to 3g finally down to edge sometimes it will even drop to having no signal at all. I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct thread I'm new to this site so any help would be greatly aprreciated. ;D

I'm assuming you're talking about CM7. There is no specific 4G icon for CM. You will get an H when actively using HSPDA/HSPA+, and it will say 3G otherwise. You will see an E on 2G.

I know, but the problem I am having is the phone can't keep a steady signal this has only started happening since the update to the stable release.

Im just curious if there's an tmous wifi calling app/apk compatible for my wife's inspire 4g?
I currently flashed Android revolution HD ROM yesterday and it runs smoothly - no bugs/lag etc.. however since we switch carrier from att to tmous I want to take advantage of the wifi calling feature from tmous.
I've search all the threads here and found al ot of solution but not on inspire 4g phone. I think there;s one thread that says it is possible on Virtuous Unity ROM

Goovie ip is a great option! W/ a few exemption.
It would be nice for the recieving end to register my tmo number if im using the tmo wifi calling app.
Inspire 4g cannot get 3g/4g signal from tmo, only edge so groovie ip would be irrelevant with edge slow speed. Thats why TMO_US Wifi calling app is very ideal....

Hi, a few days ago, my sensation was showing 4G for the data, and now, it's either H or E. How can I change that back? I know the sensation doesnt have 4G, and is actually 3.5g, but I like it when it displays 4G.
I'm on android 2.3.5, InsertCoin ROM 3.4.1 HTC Sense 3.5. I'm also on the T-mobile monthly plan.
Any advice?

The new rom replaced the 4g with H. Its no biggie. I live with it lol

H is a more technichal icon than 4G (4G doesn't exist)
don't forget to press the thank icon if it helps u
You can make the changes within spare parts where you can chose ether H or 4 g all you have to do is tic and your set

Hey guys, my name is Steve I am a new member to XDA developers and I have the T-mobile HTC Sensation 4G, Android Version: 2.3.5, HTC Sense Version: 3.5, and i also put a ROM on it, the Digitalized_0.7, Unlocked. My current service provider is AT&T I only have 3G network with them now, so ever since I got the HTC Sensation after I rooted and unlocked the signal was poor, usually I get 2 maybe 3 bars Max. So do you guys have any idea how to fix this problem? If you do please let me know or give me info on how to fix.

I would suggest a different radio. There is a thread above yours about radios. Go check it out.

I Installed the new one and my phone keeps on soft rebooting itself after a few minutes. Don't know whats going on but, I guess i'll have to try them all??
I have a qwestion when I put on cm9 night lies it shows a h for hspa signal instead of the 4G signal icon.I want the 4G back.I was told its a patch I don't understanding what that means.Does anyone know how to regain my 4G icon on the top of my screen.
