I need some help. I tried to root my phone, but when I searched for the update.zip file (the file was already in the sd card) to apply the update it didn't show up...
Can somebody please help me?

Hi! I have the same problem here, i´ve tried to put in the all folders (like LOST.DIR) and the main folder. In in the recovery mode i cant see the update.zip file!!
Anyone can help?!

If by SD card you mean the card in the expansion memory slot, then I think that may be the cause of the problem. Try it with the update.zip in the root directory, or at least a folder on the root directory (ie not on the removable card).
Hey guys, I'm from China and I'm trying to asking for help with my poor English.
when i switch on my samsung galaxy SL I9003 my phone gets hand on the screen where SAMSUNG is written.. i tried by restarting the mobile but its not working...
So, I tried to use Odin3 v1.81 to reflash my ROM. But unfortunately ,none of my ROMs work.
Now, I'm afraid ,maybe the internal sd card was broken. So I'm here to ask for help .
Is there any other situation maybe cause this kind of problem?
If this was internal sd card problem, is there any way to solve this problem without replace another sd card ?
Is it possible to make a ROM ,which starts with external sd card instead of internal sd card ? If yes, how ? I tried to look deep into the ROMs ,but only find some compiled files, no filesystem there ,so, it seems impossible for me to change this.
try flash xxpq with pit. hope your problem will solve
Hi .. I copied my files to new 16gb sd card and when i insert card .. its working fine..But when i turn on wifi I am getting "SD card unexpectedly removed"..
Any Help

Just use a memory card reader and formate it with your PC.

So I understand you want you files and the card to work on the phone?
The phone supports FAT32 file system, if i'm not mistaken so you should format it to that.
Does a pc read the files on the card? Cause if so, then first copy them to you pc and after formatting back on the card.

My laptop card reader couldn't to read my memory card
Now i testing it with other pc and memory card reader
What is problem If other pc can't read my memory too?

Does the pc see the card and tell you it needs to be formatted or doesn't it even show on your pc?
If it doesn't even show up, you could be talking about a broken reader of your computer or a broken card.
If it shows up but you can''t acces, than it might be recoverable.

Do you know how to go to the device manager on your laptop?
If not try on another pc first!

If your laptop's card reader is ok then check it form the device manager. Do you remember about setting any password to your MMC??
I've seen most of the PC doesn't show a password protected MMC.

hi guys, i had same problem, but then i set this sandisk ultra to my nokia xpress music and there was everything,,, my arc s cant open it anymore but nokia opens... try to reset your sd s to others phone...

Even I am facing the same exact issue...i have a class10 32 gb sandisk....and I have got GTN7000 rooted, whe i try to use the sd card it gives me a message -"memory card is blank or has unsupported file syste".
I have checked it on my laptop its not getting detected there...though it is there in the device manager.....i have very important data i that card is it a possibility to have the files back???

I'm having a same problem, my SD showed massage "memory card is blank or has unsupported file system". try to open it in my PC via card reader but the SD was inaccessible and the massage "you need to format..before you can use it" pop out.. i have read your comment on the phone supports FAT32 file system, how can i change it via device manger without loosing my data in the SD?

Try testdisk (cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk), maybe it can recover your partition table.

you need a pc for that.
open command promt and run the chkdsk command for the drive in which memory card is.

dont worry
requirments
1-windows pc
2-sd card reader
remove sdcard from android device and insert ot inside the sdcard reader.
open the command promt amywhere by pressing shift and right clicking on blank screen.
type chkdsk sdcard drive letter: x/
and you will probably get a corrwct sdcard after a while

Hi, As mentioned already use chkdsk using the steps by droid_god. If that fails try some PC softwares. There are plenty of them. Can you access the memory card ? Or it's completely dead ?
If it's completely dead then format it. Then download EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. It will recover all your data.
