[i9003][REQ] SAMSUNG IM and PREMIUM SOCIAL HUB - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hey guys, i have been trying on samsung im app to work on our i9003...but haven't succeded till yet...(XXKPE)
or the samsung premium social hub(seven)
Can anyone of u guys try doing it ??

Samsung IM on BAda OS is Parlingo. I did not see any other IM there. Parlingo is available in the market.
Link-Parligo
And social hub premium...see this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11467477#post11467477

I tested that, but its not working, and i heard that its really awesome..uses push service and consumes much less battery

The app on that link is a deodexed app. It may need deodexed firmware.
... or is it the other way around, if it is at all!
Someone with more knowledge than me please confirm this!

If you could open the link and read the link..It clearly states that it is a de-odexed app and which obviously means you need a deodexed phone...And tanmay, I will try it out and let you know...The push service cannot be activated in the social hub unless Samsung gave it to you officially..
The parlingo app does not require de-odexing! It is a java app.>!!!

If the push service can't be activated then its useless
But still please give it a try!!

Sure...I think the link which i posted should work..Because htere is no specific hardware or software which is required for hte social hub..Did you give that a try?

Tried to back it up and send ya a link of my own but apparently its private so can't seem to back it up.. sorry!
Im sure someone will have a way!!

thanks for trying mobzter, i think the only way to back it up is on a rooted phone using titanium backup
Is it not possible to just use that link you have to download the .apk file?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Not with the firmware I'm running, the o2 branded firmware blocks certain apps on the marketplace.
Might just go back to generic firmware as I need this program to access my work diary,
(which leaves me stuck choosing between my diary and battery life, hopefully the update to the generic firmware should be released this week so i can have both)
- unless someone knows a way round the app restrictions
?

I'm interested by the APK too, if someone found a way to extract it.
Thanks
+1
Could anybody send me a link?
Thanks
Can't download the app on a Nexus S. Does anyone know why? Location?

[APP]Timescape Extentions Development

Hello all. Seeing as timescape is running on a lot of high end devices I and some others believe that Devs should start coding extentions. Anyone willing?
GETTING STARTED

TIMESCAPE APP
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982051 (post#5)
Hope we can get devs for this!
some ideas so far are:
1. gmail
2. xda
3. weather
+1
since timescape has no reported issues after retail version has been ported (except for silly mistakes during installation) I vouch for this idea.

In the first post download click link to timescape thread. Go to #5 post and download timescape. I think you need root to put permissions and etc in correct places. Copy the app folder to system/app. Install the apostle from there
If you need more help just ask,
timescape retail thanks to myth999! extentions soon to come
Is it possibly add function for change Timescape wallpaper? Add GMail function will be great.
to change wallpaper, could we decompile the apk, find the image, swap with new picture and resign it? im no dev but it seems logically correct.
Yes, it´s correct thought, but it don´t work (app cannot instal).
i think it's a realy good idea! many extension can be interessent...
I have tried the above procedure in the main thread and it still dont work for me :/ i've tried the apk method. Can you help me set it up for my At&t captivate (its rooted and no roms yet but i can't seem to have non-market app to work). Anyway, i would appreciate if you could help me port Timescape on my device step-by-step. Much appreciated. And please direct me to the libraries and how to install them.
Is there a way to develop a google+ plugin for timescape? this would be great

[Q] deleting important apks in system/app

Hi
I am a newbie, and recetly rooted my O3D..
As rooted, I tried to delete some apks to free the ram.
But, after done deleting unimportant apks (as I thought), I can get into the settings.
It says, "Sorry! The application settings (process com.android.setings)has stopped unexpectedly..."
Shooooot! So I looked up the list I can delete safety.. and, found out I deleted some apks I had to keep..
The apks I deleted but they (other people) say I had to keep are..
HiddenMenu.apk
HRZ.apk
ImageEditor.apk
PCSync.apk
S3DSpace.apk
Anyone, please help me for this matter?
Please upload those apks for me, please???

Just re install your ROM. I do this all the time and regret it, lol. In future, use Gemini or ROM Toolbox to freeze apps for a while to see if you need them

You don't need root to upgrade you don't even technically need a working phone cause it can most likely be fixed

Market Helper for Galaxy S4 ?

I'm trying to download a free app called "SkyMotion", but because of country restrictions I can't.
So I tried Market Helper, but I can only select the S3 for the simulated device.
But, the app isn't S3 compatible, only S4. So I'm still unable to download it.
Is there a work around to add the S4 to Market Helper's equipment list ?
Or any other way to download apps from a "restricted" country ?
I've tried VPN software on my phone, but that didn't help.
Thank you.
Just get the modded playstore, save yourself the hassle.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1839871
Use hotspot shield it will remove restrections

I'll investigate.

you will need the sourcecode of that.... and then look if the app breaks the rule of dalvik<->art compatibility (it should not get the runtime directly or the garbage colector etc) for exact informations look at official google anouncments (google it lol)
if you are not a dev.... please inform the dev of this app

thank you very much.
SO I must contact the dev I thought that because it installed successfully I can just edit some lines in "AndroidManifest.xml" but I was wrong it's more complicated .
again thank you very much.
