Dialer/phone shortcut missing on lockscreen. - HTC Sensation

I was trying to setup a lockscreen shortcut and I can't set it to phone/dialer. Also I cannot see it in the app drawer. Any ideas why? It opens fine from the homescreen. Running Virtuous Sensation 1.0.1.

It should just be named phone

Having the same issue! Revolution HD ROM.

No one else with similar issue?

Are you saying that you don't see the phone app from the app drawer? If so, maybe you mistakenly hid it or somthing. Are you using Rosie or an alternative launcher. Phone is one of the four default items on the lockscreen when "wallpaper lockscreen" is selecter from the Personalize menu. So I take it, you have either changed the lockscreen or have changed the phone item and can't get it back? Am I correct, so I can further help you?

I was setting up shortcuts in the lock screen. I left the phone dialer alone cause I needed it as a shortcut and just changed the other 3. When I went to check the lockscreen it was missing. I also tried adw launcher and it wasn't set as a default on the dockbar. I couldn't get it to appear. I did finally manage to get it on adw after setting a shortcut to an activity. Still should have been able to select it from app drawer though, but nothing.

What's the secret for BW? When I unlock my phone and the weather displays, it opens the clock or weather skin change menu. I haven't always had that issue and can't seem to get it to just display the weather then let me see my home screen-I have to hit Home each time. I've tried setting it back to the weather/clock combos that I haven't had issues with but no luck. Are there certain developers to avoid or a setting I need to change? Love the app and the options but hate this issue. Any ideas?
Edit: Ive got it worked out

Lockscreen

Does anyone know a good looking lockscreen that will show you 'miss call' ?
I dont know about missed calls, but Lock Bot is an excellent replacement lockscreen that seems to work perfectly in FroYo. There are a lot of styles too.

You could also try WidgetLocker. I wasn't a big fan of it on my Aria because it seemed laggy and I'd see the stock lockscreen a lot of times, but the Infuse appears to actually have enough power to run WidgetLocker correctly. There's all sorts of stuff you can do to modify your lockscreen with that. You could set up a WidgetLocker lockscreen and then use a widget of your choosing to display the information you want. I'm working on and off right now on designing a widget to display missed calls, unheard voicemail, unread texts, and probably some other stuff with minimalistic text. WidgetLocker isn't free though, so read up on it before you buy it. It does have some quirks.
I personly do not like the lock screen at all and I use No Lock so that as soon as I hit power it is on my home or apps. Just make sure you have Advace Task Manager ignore it.
ummm.... the stock one?!?! that shows missed calls.
How did you remove the stock lockscreen?

"No Lock" is the name of an app that will turn off the stock lock screen. Its in the market.
The SGS II lockscreen is nice and has it. You need a ROM with it.

[Q] ARHD issue, no icons on lockscreen or main menu

As the title indicates I have no "goto" icons in my lockscreen and my home screen is missing the most important icons, the only on there is the middle one for all apps.
See file attatched
Is this a know bug and is there a way to sort it? Yes I have tried reinstalling the rom without any luck.
It seems to work with other launchers (Go Launcher and LauncherPro) but I really just want the stock feel.
Also settings seem to crash a lot...
I had this kind of issue with the lockscreen. If you can, try running the HTC setup app. It hopefully will restore it. Make sure you don't have any repeating Force Close messages, especially with HTC apps. That locks up the whole thing and usually forces you to have to restore a nandroid backup.
Well, that kinda worked for the lockscreen, I now have settings and one other thing there. I seem to remember there used to be a way to customize which icons to show? Any idea where to find it?
Anyone got any tips on the home screen icons?

[Q] CleanRom 6 r2 Lock Screen

Hi,
Is there any way to change the lockscreen apps? I changed my dock apps to chrome, but my lockscreen still has the stock internet app listed. I tried disabling the Internet app and then the shortcut disappeared in the lockscreen. I re-enabled it however the shortcut never comes back so now I just have a blank spot in my lockscreen. I have tried dirty flashing the rom again but that didn't seem to help. Please advise. Thanks.

Are you using a custom launcher? You have to change the dock apps in Sense in order to change the lockscreen.

[Q] New page on home screen. Where did it come from?

Hello all,
I'm a relatively new OnePlus One owner and yesterday after I rebooted my phone, a new page showed up as part of my home screen pages. What was the first home screen page is now the second one and this new page took it's place.
Since I have no idea what it is, I'm attaching a screen shot for reference in hopes someone might be able to tell me. It's mostly blank with the text that says:
Get some extensions!
Looks like you don't have any installed
extensions. CM Home currently supports
DashClock extensions, so go get some and check
back here!"
Would anyone know where this suddenly came from and more importantly, how can I get rid of it? If I had wanted it there, I would have added it myself. Don't much appreciate a phone that doesn't respect user settings.
Thanks!
Tim
Nobody knows?
There must be some way of getting rid of this thing. It seems to have shown up after I updated to 38R. It's also mentioning something about Dash Clock. But since I don't have any app named Dash Clock installed, I have no way of uninstalling it.
Tired of these apps or themes, etc that just think it's fine to modify a user's settings and add whatever they want to a phone. I take the time to setup my phone for a reason. If I had wanted something changed or added, I'm perfectly capable of determining which apps I wish to have and where I wish to place associated folders, icons, widgets, etc.
Would be very appreciate if anyone could give me some advice how to get rid of that page.
Thank you!
It is part of the trebuchet launcher from cyanogen. You must have gone into the settings and turned on the CM Home search panel. Just go back into the launcher settings and change the search panel option to "off" and it should go away.

Thanks so much for the reply. I have looked already, but see nothing obvious listed in my Settings where I can find anything related to CM Home search panel. I have also searched for any apps that might be labeled as trebuchet, launcher, CM, etc. Would you mind telling me where exactly I can find such a setting as you mentioned?
Thank you again.

It is not in the phone settings it is on the home screen. Long press down on any part of the home wallpaper not covered by an icon or widget and you should see a menu bar pop up at the bottom with 3 icons for setting wallpaper, widgets and something else. There should be an up arrow near the top of the menu bar which when pressed will take you to the launcher settings, that is where you can change the options.
