Okay to be able to flash this Official ROM with your phone, you must change your Super-CID Here is How To Change It. But Will Not Let You Sim Unlock

Is it definitely locked as some networks send them out unlocked? Also have a look at THIS post for advice. Might be worth a shot.

Lock the bootloader and install latest FW

Hello
I want do re-lock my bootloader and install the lastest original AT&T rom.
How can i lock it back ?
thanks.
Why? Warranty purpose or selling it?
Otherwise just install a pre-rooted stock ROM from Development.

You just need to be on a Sense-based rom to carrier unlock. Try flashing Viper or CleanROM.

there is no other way to return to stock and unroot
if you are S-ON you have to use a ruu with the same firmware as yours or higher one
otherwise flash another rom from recovery
by the way what problem did you meet when you used the ruu?

It said I had the wrong RUU version but it was the one I should have for my phone unless Virgin Mobile put it on a t-mobile network thing. So do I need to flash a stock HTC rom for it to work aswell or will it work with CyanogenMod?

ruu works independently of the rom you are using
but i saw you opened a new thread where you are saying that you want to send it for repair
if you are still on warranty then ruu is your only option
best wishes

if its carrier unlocked from the manufacturer, pop the sim in, the end.
if its bootloader unlocked, you need to get it carrier unlocked as they are not the same.
Ok, I have the carrier unlock code, ATT gave it to me with no problems. Now besides that do I need to flash a different radio at all? Also because its rooted would that cause any other issues?

Solved
Sorry,
I created the thread and forgot to update it when I solved the issue.
All I did is install a custom ROM and specified the international variant then flashed the stock kernel. Everything works fine on all ROMS

You have a verizon phone right? S-off, latest firmware? If so, flash any other ROM that is meant for the International M8 then look for the corresponding kernel.
I'm on Android Revolution 21.0. If you can download that, I'll share the latest kernel with you. You must be on the latest firmware though!

Anyone had luck recently with this on Lollipop? Can't seem to get rid of it. Changing the APNs xml file doesn't do a thing. I'm using a mostly stock ROM.

Awesome, that's exactly it.
Once it's changed to my Vodafone SIM, will it need to be changed back once I put the VZW sim back in? Curious. Not a huge deal, but I've not had this problem w/ earlier ROMs.

Yes, you'd have to change it back. Cool thing is that it gives you the correct data icons.
