[Q] How to disable scrolling wallpaper.. - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I have found that you can disable scrollable wallpaper if you install LauncherPro or any other launcher, but can it be done some other way in my sense homescreen?
My overall goal is to have a really minimal "center home screen" (a disabled scrolling wallpaper), and only see buttons/folders/etc when I scroll..
Thanks

[Q] Wallpaper Scrolling no longer works

So I'm using ADWLauncher EX and at first I didn't use wallpaper scrolling. Now when I switch it back on, I can't make a wallpaper in the gallery which can be used as a scrolling wallpaper.
It doesn't work in the default launcher either. The gallery only allows me to make a portrait wallpaper, not the landscape wallpaper necessary for scrolling.
I've cleared the data for the gallery, but I still can't select a landscape wallpaper.

[Q] Custom homescreen transitions

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to merge an element of one app to another.
What I want to to is use the "Fade" transition from Widgetlocker as my homescreen slider effect on Launcherpro.
This topic is very hard to search because Transition effects usually mean when opening up a new window or switching between apps, but I want to be very clear: I am referring to the sliding effect when you swipe from one homescreen to another.
Launcherpro has a few custom homscreen transitions in place but I was wondering if it was possible to "steal" the fade transition from widgetlocker and put it in Launcherpro.
Thanks

[Q] stop wallpaper scroll

This is really bugging now. I have elegancia rom ICS 4.0.3 with sense 4.0.
I cannot set a wallpaper without it scrolling when I change from one home screen to the next. I've tried cropping the photo to the dimensions of the screen, and setting with both ES explorer and gallery but it will not set the background without doing the stupid crop thing and making it can scroll.
How can I turn off this annoying feature ?
Edit:
I tried sing an app called Wallpaper Wizardrii to turn off the scrolling. Actually it's done something to the wallpaper, the scrolling hasn't stopped, and I can't put it back by setting scroll on on the app or setting a wallpaper through gallery or ES:

Bump
There doesn't seem to be a setting to enable/disable wallpaper scroll in Sense that I can see, if it's really bugging you maybe it's time to experiment with a different launcher? I'm using GO Launcher EX and that has the option to disable wallpaper scrolling.
Having said that, I switched back to Sense and tried setting a wallpaper and it didn't try and crop it, just set it full screen...?

[Q] How to stop Wallpaper scrolling?

Other than only using 1 screen with the default launcher or another launcher like Nova, is there any way to turn off wallpaper scrolling? Or is there an option I'm not seeing that lets me crop a wallpaper for portrait only?
With Nova, there is an option to disable wallpaper scrolling in the settings under desktop. Not sure about the stock launcher, Nova was the first thing I installed.

[Q] How do you arrange your tablet home screens?

What do you guys prefer having on your home screens when it comes to widgets and apps?
Do you go for usability, productivity or design?
I don't like text underneath the icons on my homescreen and I shrink the icons in the app drawer. In all those years I regret that Google doesn't offer those options. So that leads me to ADW EX launcher, which I use on all my devices.
use nova launcher, have done since its initial beta release. i got for a default home screen which is minimal then a second right screen with a few more frequent apps. I always have a dock at the bottom for most frequent apps and try and increase the dock from the standard size with smaller space between icons. I dont like text underneath any icon
I've used Nove for some time. Great launcher. Love swipe gestures. But I like functionality on my N5. Wondering if there are any useful widgets worth considering on an Android tablet.
xposed
I like xposed framework because of the neat different transparencies and other features that it brings to the overall setup. it's going to be interesting to see how framework helps Android lollipop 5.0 customizations.
I use Nova as my launcher and use of the gestures.
Only one homescreen, no icons, only Dashclock widget. Keep it nice and clean. Swipe up to get the app drawer and that's only one page. Swipe down for Firefox. That's all I need, clean and simple.
I disable the lock screen too, waste of time.
