Netflix not working

Im new to the inspire I was wondering if there a netflix app that works I'm on gingerbread

If your phone is running a ROM (cm7, virtuous, etc) the netflix app available here should work.
It works on my inspire running virtuous unity....

Check out the thread from mustang302LX "netfix port" in inspire themes and apps. It works for some and doesnt for others. It depends on the rom your running and what patches/fixes you flash after installing the app. I can confirm it running great on Honeysense 7.2.1.

No patches needed for Virtuous Unity ROM. Just install the latest apk and it works without any issues.

Stock android messaging app

Is there a way to get the stock android messaging app working on the sensation? I downloaded a couple of apk's but when I install it fails. I also downloaded a zip file but when I tried flashing it the installation aborted. I'm rooted and running Android Revolution HD 1.1.6 no-sense.

Did you try installing it through Astro file manager?

Try installing thru astro or drag and drop to system/app and change persmissions than reboot

[Q] Is ROM Manager necessary?

Hi all,
I have a Sensation Z710e running AR HD 4.1.13, Sense 3.5
I have both ROM Manager and 4EXT on the phone but lately the ROM Manager keeps asking to force close for some reason
So is it necassary to have to have both of them on the phone?
Or is there a way that it can be fixed?

You Don't need ROM Manager. I assume you have 4EXT recovery?

Yes I have 4EXT on the phone

Stop using ROM Manager, it's much better to learn what you're doing manually so you understand what's actually happening

Installing vipers1.0.1

I'm going to install the new vipers 1.0.1 Rom I can use the same 3.32 firmware with it correct.and I don't need to change my radios/rils do I.all I need to do is format and install as usuall? I just wanted to make sure before I did the switch. Thanks!!!

first install Viper 1.0.0, flash the zip file as usual (4ext recovery, install from zip)
Full wipe is recommend and this can be done during installation.
Viper 1.0.1 is a "patch", you can either download the flashable zip to install or use Settings > About > Software Updates
just install as usual, dont have to wipe anything

Do I have to download viper 1.0.0 first?Is it alright if I just install vipers1.0.1.

you must download and install Viper 1.0.0 because Viper 1.0.1 is just a patch

No, you do not have to. There is a full ROM for 1.0.1. You can just flash it directly. Here's the link: http://d-h.st/7yQ

sorry, i didn't realize m0narx uploaded a full rom for ViperS 1.0.1 as i update via OTA when it released
anyway i think people should stop answering his question as he asks dumb question like "where is the link?"

Don't worry about it buddy.We got it figured I appreciate your help my friend.hey did you experience any problem or fix that need to be done inorder for everything to work properly like WiFi hotspot,texting,etc whatever.
