A few questions - HTC Sensation

Hello all,
I just recently switched from iPhone 3GS to the new HTC Sensation and I am loving my new life.
As for now I am using Android Revolution HD 1.1.3 which is a big improvement over the stock ROM, feels faster, smoother and more responsive. When you flash a new ROM, is it possible to backup your messages, your linked contacts etc? I do get my contacts through google, but i have to manually link them all to their spesific facebook accounts which takes some time, esp. if you want to try different ROM's daily.
I also installed CRT on/off animation and Minimalistic fonts for Android Revolution, the animation works but I can't see any changes to the fonts? Help?
I can't reply to the actual thread in the development section because lack of permission to do so.
Recommending Android Revolution HD ROM with this theme, smooth!

GMail 2.2.1
NOTE: MUST BE RUNNING FROYO (ANDROID 2.2)
New header design makes it easier to reply or star messages.
Performance boost for most features.
Lots more cool stuff you’ll love.

Confused; sorry if I missed something...thought the 2.2 leak for DX already has GMail 2.2.1...
Huh. Or, mine auto-updated in the last five minutes. Freaking weird. Ignore me then.
Nice, thanks.
No problem guys...

[Q] [Question/Request] Sense 4.0 battery icon without percentage on OrDroid

Hello everyone I'm on the OrDroid 9.0.0 now and I'm loving it so far. However I prefer the old battery icon of Sense without percentage than this one with percentage. I know PKMN's rom has the possibility to change this but not on OrDroid, so is it possible to change this on OrDroid ? (apk or flashable zip for example)

P/s: a little off topic, can I flash the PKMN's rom over ordroid without wiping anything ?
Both Ordroid and Pkmn have the same exact tweaks, since they're developing together now, if i'm not mistaken.
so, in Ordroid, go to the tweaks app, select status, then battery options, and select battery text style...choose whatever suits you best.

Sense 4 problem with apps displaying websites

I use [Fallout Evolution V4.4.0|Sense 4.0A| ICS 4.03]
When an application uses websites to display its content it seems that the black background gets in front, rendering the app unusable.
Currently I use 3 apps which have this problem:
Cineman
Teleboy
Steam
Reading the app-comments on play.google.com there seems to be a problem with multiple HTC mobile phones (among them Sensation 4G and One X).
I guess it is a Sense-problem because this error seems only to occur on HTC devices.
If someone can confirm this and/or has a solution I'd be thankful.

How it should look
This really seems to be a Sense 4 problem.
Installed Ice Eclipse 2.0 with Sense 3.6 and the problem is gone.
It could also be the android version. Fallout has 4.0.3 and Ice Eclipse 4.0.4.

[APP CONCEPT] Rom manager redesign.

so i was keeping this to myself as it was going into real development as a new application but before it really took off its development has died so i thought id show you all what i was working on.
basically i wanted an app that would bring roms, kernels and their developers to the forefront; at the same time providing a way to manage your currently installed configs, in a similar fashion to rom manger.
seeing as development has died i've decided to share this as an idea on how 'I' would like to see a rom manager application look. the app was heavily inspired by the google card UI and the android play store. hope you like it and if anyone would like to use the concept be my guest.
i think the images below is pretty self explanatory so enjoy.
EDIT: sorry about the huge image size.
