pm.disable - HTC Sensation

Hi all,
I have a number of apps I'm still trying to disable from my App Drawer..
I was wondering if anyone could give me the pm.disable name for them if I list them here...
Call History
Camcorder
Latitude
Locations
Mail
Mirror
Navigation
Places
Just would like to reiterate that I only want to remove/hide/freeze these Apps from the App Drawer.
Thanks alot.

Any of you lovely people have any ideas?

Get Quick System Info Pro from the Market. That's what I used. Once installed, go to Applications and pick the application you want to disable. Then click Details and "Package Name" will show you what you need to enter for pm disable.

Possible to hide apps in the app drawer?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if it is possible to "hide" apps in the app drawer. Mainly, I want to keep the critical apps that some apps depend on, but I don't want them to be seen in the app drawer... Some examples would be Voice Search, Voice Dialer, Call History, Clock, PDF Viewer, and Talk. I just like having an uncluttered app drawer, but the only way that I know of doing this is to delete apps.

There is an app in the market, i think its like "App vault" or something like that.
I can't remember who makes it. But I think it does what you are looking for.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it. If that doesn't work, is there anyway this could be ported to our phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540880
Just found out that App Vault disabled the app rather than hiding it. Unfortunately that would break apps the depend on the disabled app. One search I did, I found people who were able to hide apps by renaming the .apk to .bak, but that disabled the app.
bump.
anyone have any info on how to hide apps in your app drawer with default home launcher?
If you're using Launcher Pro Plus, theres a hidden apps feature.

ADW allows this as well. While the app drawer is open press the MENU button and then "Choose Group" > Create New Catalog and then set it up with the apps you want to be visible

[CM10] Foursquare menu and sharing to to Facebook

I've noticed recently that when sharing a Check-in from Foursquare to Facebook that its only shared with me in Facebook and not with my friends - essentially I'm sharing with myself only.
So I go to Foursquare to see if there is an option I'm missing, but I cannot get to the settings menu. I've got my "recent apps" key mapped as a tab for menu which works in all other apps. I also enabled the three dot menu option in CM settings but that does not show anything in the Foursquare interface. I've reinstalled Foursquare and still no dice.
Anyone else with these issues?

Thank you for your question.
In batch uninstall mode, the system pop up will be shown on every app.
Android system doesn't allow us to uninstall an app without user's confirmation.

That's a real shame as there is a way. There is an app that's capable but it was never updated (silent app uninstaller for root users)

My app is for normal users, not for root users.
With un-rooted device, I'm sure there's no way to uninstall app without user's confirmation.
If we could uninstall app without user's confirmation, someone can write an application that delete all apps on your phone.
What do you think?
If one knows how things work...
Never mind, was just curious
Thank you for your feedback.

[Q] Wondering if there's a way to hide unwanted icons from app draw

In my HTC one I was able to hide the unwanted apps that I couldn't delete from the phone, couldn't seem to find the same option in the nexus. If hiding isn't an option perhaps folders? Any suggestions would help, thanks.

Not with the stock launcher.
Find the app you want to hide in settings-apps slide right to all tap on the app and on the info page there should be a disable button. This will remove the icon from the app drawer.

[Q] Help retrieving app

Hello guys! In my old mobile, I had installed an app (I believe it was a battery manager or something similar) wich had also a mode similar to the extreme save battery mode that the s5 has, a black screen with only call, sms and other few options and everything else deactivated. You could access this mode not from the settings of the phone but from the app menu if I remeber correctly, it had a dedicated icon (just like it was another separate app) but was not a launcher.
Do you know what app could it be?
Thank you very much!
Have you checked under "my apps" on the app store? Choose "not installed" If you are using the same Google account and you did not delete the App, it should be listed there!
