I have recently rooted my LG Optimus V and I decided I wanted Gingerbread, so I flashed my stock rom, then installed CM7 through Rom Manager. I backed up my phone before installing. Now my phone starts up with CM7, but freezes during the blue welcome animation (where the blue android comes in on the skateboard). The arrow loops around, freezes, restarts the animation where the guy comes in on the skateboard, loops around, and freezes for good. I left it on in that position all night, but it doesnt get past the animation.
What do I do if my phone refuses to boot up? Any suggestions?

did you wipe dalvik cache, cache, and data before you flashed cm7? if not, boot into recovery (with your phone off, its home+vol down+power) and do so. if that doesnt work, restore your backup. from what ive heard, rom manager can cause some problems for our phone, so use amonra/thunderg recovery instead:

Hello all
I recently upgrade to an HTC TBolt but decided to keep my droid for mp3 playing since it has great battery life.
Well I went to download CM7 RC4 and the download always stopped I chalked this up to bad wifi signal no big deal. Downloaded the zip on computer moved it to the SD.
So not I go to boot into CWR and it wont, tried through CM7 reboot menu, rom manager, x + power, power + volume down still nothing.
The phone boots to moto logo site for a bit goes black and back to moto logo for a few seconds or so then goes right to CM7 bootlogo...
Tried a CWR reinstall didnt seem to work. I have not yet tried a downgrade CWR yet though.
Motorola Droid
CyanogenMod 7 RC2
Rom Manager 3.0.0.7
Clockwork Recovery 2.5.0.1
Any help with figuring this out would be great and thank you in advance.
Still can not get this to work, could really use any help anyone have any ideas at all?
Hi, i just flashed this rom onto my phone, and it seemed like it worked. as it booted up, it showed the iho logo, and when to an android boot logo, in which it stopped in the middle of and has been stuck since. every few seconds it goes back to the iho screen, comes back to the splash and stays there. i have tried booting into recovery with no luck. PLEASE HELP!

try flashing a new recovery through your pc and revert to your previous rom

Hey, I know this is late reply but this is for anyone else who may run into this problem with any phone actually. Check out my site mellowdev.net and download Orange Tools, this allows adb commands etc in a very nice UI. You can then reboot into recovery in your situation. PM for more info. Thanks
EDIT: this is now called Mango Tools
So I flashed the superlite CM10 rom yesterday and everything was running fine, except the phone would occasionally reboot. But this was happening when i had the older version of the same rom and it wasnt that big a deal. Today, it restarted and now it wont boot the OS, go into recovery, or anything. All it does is vibrate every few seconds. I get to the Samsung screen, then it goes black and keeps vibrating every few seconds. If i try to boot to TWRP, it gets to the TWRP boot screen, then the screen goes black and the same vibrating thing happens. Am i hard bricked or what? Thank in advance!

So, I successfully rooted my GX2 (p999), and I successfully installed Clockworkmod Recovery, and followed the steps to install EaglesBlood. Everything went ok until I actually tried to turn on my phone.
It WILL turn on, and it will start to boot up Eaglesblood, but then the screen goes black for about 3 seconds, then the Eaglesblood logo shows for about 5 seconds, then it blacks out for 3 seconds, then shows the logo for 5 seconds, etc etc etc, for as long as there's battery to do so.
I tried going into the boot recovery to reinstall, but I think the Eaglesblood installation removed Clockworkmod recovery? It will show the recovery loading bar, then reboot the phone (instead of showing the recovery menu).
Is there a way that I can connect my phone to my PC without being able to boot up? Have I bricked my phone?
I know other phones have a downloading mode. Does the GX2 have that, and if so is there a fix with it?
The G2x is pretty much unbrickable to an extent... When you rooted the phone did you use a one click method or nv flashed cwm?
