Updated to the latest Infused version, SetCPU was set to min 100 Mhz and max 800 Mhz, used JuiceDefender on the basic setting, used Battery Calibration once, and screen brightness at 40%. Battery life is absolutely intense, I unplugged it around 7:30 this morning and its been slowly draining since. Fast forward 19 hours and its still at 66 percent, after texting and playing Words with Friends and reading Engadget very frequently, as well as working on a QuickOffice doc for a few hours.

Well no wonder you got these good results. Try down at 600 and you might get even better

I tried 600MHz but that seemed a bit too laggy. I have the Galaxy Core live wallpaper and it seemed too laggy with it set to 600 haha. Oh, but I forgot to mention that I have SetCPU set so that on screen off, processor goes down to 100min, 200max. So I think that that setting, combined with Juice Defender shutting off data when the screen is off, gives you a major battery extension. I can only imagine with one of the extended batteries!
this should be posted in general

I purchased SetCPU about two weeks ago. I stopped using it because my phone started to get choppy, so i disabled all my profiles and disables start at boot. I kept the widget alive cause i had a free space on my widget screen but since i installed that, i see that the CPU stays a lot at this speed. I rarely see it at 1500mhz. Not sure if its normal

could be that widget isn't refreshing because app is no lo.Ger installed, which is probably the case
yes it is refreshing because the temps keep changing, the app is installed, i just disabled it from managing my cpu but its still there. also, if you knew how setcpu works youd know the max is the highest frequency allowed and the low, the lowest, it is not by any mean a indication of current mhz, so something keeps changing my cpu profile...but what?

You can check your CPU levels with the app cpuspy on the market.

I know there's already a battery life thread, but I thought it would be interesting to have one where people also included the amount of time their display was turned on for, since that seems to be the primary source of battery drain for me at least. Also if you wouldn't mind posting the average brightness it was set at, as well as any custom rom, kernel, or battery saving techniques you're using, that would be cool as well. And if you have a really long display on time, like over 5 hours, maybe you could include a screenshot fort verification too if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!
The most I've ever got is about 5 hours or so of display on time at around 25% brightness with sky ics 7.4, faux kernel 009m, -50 global uv, 1.5ghz CPU speed, and juice defender ultimate with 15 min sync interval. I can't find the screenshot for that one, but here's one that's almost as good:

Copied from the other battery thread
These are my specs.
-QuickWiz Rom
-009m Faux kernel ( 1.242ghz max - 384mhz min / -75mV )
Undervolted using Fauxclock (Y)
-Froze bunch of bloatware using Titanium backup
SkyCoke ROM
Faux 009u Kernel
-100mV UV, 1.188 gHz max clock
No JuiceDefender or anything else extra besides whatever came with the ROM
So I'm running the 7/15 CM9 rom and today my battery is draining at an alarming rate. The highest percentage isn't even screen its phone? File attached. What is up with this? I've made one 2 minute call ALL day and sent about 20 text messages.

Have you tried InstigatorX's kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721235 I've heard that it gives great battery life.
I would ask this in the CM9 thread in the general section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710289 if that doesn't help.
It could be wakelock issues, try to use BetterBatteryStats to monitor the phone's usage. It'll tell you which program or service is using battery. Could also try rebooting. When the phone doesn't go to deepsleep it stays on a specific frequency (CPU) and slowly drains battery. Programs can also cause draining if they're constantly syncing and using mid frequencies rather than low level frequency. Each frequency level (192MHz, 1GHz, 1.5GHz) has different voltages so if it stays at a specific frequency it can drain a lot. CPUSpy is also a simple program that monitors how much time the phone stays at a specific frequency. If your phone has been on for 8hours and 7hours is on deepsleep then there is no wake issues. If it says 8hours and 5minutes is on deep sleep but 384MHz (or any) and you don't have any programs on then you have wake issues or a service is constantly using your resources.

First of all, download an app called "Setxperia" , go to your cpu settings and set your governor to ondemand, and threshold to 40 (This gives responsiveness and speed comparable to higher end phones such as my galaxy s2). Second, download an app called "Deep sleep battery saver" , set the preset on any you want (I recommend strong) , set your screen on and off delay to 5 seconds. For battery discharge settings, set it to 10% , for recharge settings, press ignore. (Doing this compensates for power the low threshold uses) and there you go, done! Tested on my galaxy s2 first then sidekick 4g, methods work for both devices.

I only ever see a battery issue when I use wifi. But I might as well try this out.
I have been running CleanRom 3.0 for about 7 months now and have been getting great battery life. For the last week or so I have been getting horrible battery life and i cannot figure out why. I have not done anything different or added any apps since the fall. I have done all the tips and tricks to saving battery ....display set at 10%/30 seconds, All notifications turned off, gps off, bluetooth off etc... I can usually get an average of 22 hours before needing to look for a charger.
Today:
10.5 hours and 12% left. Not even 2 hours of screen time. I have phone forced on 3g and get good reception at my home where I was for most of the day.
Can someone please give me some insight here? maybe I'm missing something??

Maybe your battery itself.
There are far to many variables that play a part in battery life.
Look into 5.6 and remember to toggle off data and WiFi when not in use.
Worth a try.
Edit: now I clearly see you toggle WiFi and data off when not in use. Haha sorry.

Agreed, try changing kernel or kernel settings, gov types, speeds, tweak options.
Sometimes it take alot of trial and error to figure out the best rom/kernel combos. May also have to change a few things in the rom and/or kernel to do so. Goodluck!
You can try an app call "Better Battery Stats"
