I think it is a stock sms app restriction. Try differet messaging application: go sms pro, handcent sms, etc.

I wonder if its possible to increase the amount of messages you can have on a page of the threaded SMS view without having to click the Older link.
I can now view only 12 SMS in 1 threaded windows then i have to click Older... and this gets kinda frustrating, is it possible to increase that number ?

Is it possible to use port numbers(to Send SMS) in Android App like we use in J2ME. So that only those App which have the same Port Number
can listen.
Problem Faced:
There is an Application X in Both Users A & B.
When we tried sending SMS from A to B using our X Messaging Application, The message will go to our App Inbox as well as Native Messaging.
Ex:
There is an Application X in Both Users A & B.
A sends sms to B. Only X's INBOX will get notified about the SMS and not the Native INBOX and should not store messages to Native Inbox. only application X will know about the sms.
It would be helpful if we get some solutions so that we can avoid the messages going to Native Inbox.

Hey all.
Iv recently subcribed to facebook sms alerts and its working great.
However the messages i get sent are from slightly different numbers
eg. 32230004 or 32230010, the 3223 is the facebook address but the 0010 is the message number.
This is screwing up my threaded messages as its threading each individual message instead of grouping them.
Is there anyway i can thread a range of numbers so all the facebook messages get grouped eg 3223**** or 32230000-32239999
