[Q] Samsung Galaxy I9000T Bricked? - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi Guys,
I was running Froyo 2.2 and decided to try and root and upgrade to 2.3.4. So
i followed on online step by step, install ODIN 1.3 select the file under "pda" start and reset the phone?
Well, my phone's now stuck on the splash screen, and just a loading whirl when plugged into the PC. It still responds when plugging, and unplugging from the PC.
Tried the 3 button reset. NOTHING
ANy ideas?
I'm about to try installing Darky's rom, the only thing it said to do different is "repartition?"

[Q] Problem flashing ROM in Mac OS Boot Camp? Flash hangs midway, soft bricked.

Booted into Windows on a Macbook.
Downloaded the droid root charge kit stickied in this forum.
Installed the samsung drivers. Loaded Odin.
Flashed the voodoo kernel in seconds, no problem.
Then, when I try to flash a ROM, it gets about 75% done, either hanging during the systemfs.rfs phase, or all the way up to movin???.dll (i don't recall the exact name). The phone says, "RX_TIMEOUT". It never gets past this point.
I've tried flashing back to factory stock, using both Odin and the samsung flasher, loading up the PIN and stock EE4. Same thing. Hangs at 9%. Sometimes just crashes and says 'Error, download cancel'.
I'm waiting for my wife to come home, since she has a PC laptop. I'm really, really hoping I just need to flash it from an actual Windows machine.
Stuck with a soft bricked phone. I've tried everything possible to flash back to factory (or anything, for that matter), but it's always the same. Hangs halfway through. Can someone please assist me?

[Q] Galaxy mini S5570-Can't boot to recovery after flashing ClockWorkMod recovery

Hi,
I've recently flashed ClockWorkMod Recovery using Odin to my Samsung Galaxy mini S5570 device,
the opertion was succesfull (Odin said PASS), but now when I try to boot into Recovery (pressing Middle button and power button) the device just get stuck in the Samsung screen (the first screen you see when you regulary power on your device).
Will be glad for some help!
*Any Ideas how to fix this problem? or why does it occur?
1) Will HardReset/FactoryReset the phone will uninstall ClockWorkMod Recovery?
2) Do I need to ROOT my device prior to the flashing of ClockWorkMod Recovery with ODIN?
3) Can I remove/uninstall the ClockWorkMod Recovery?
Thanks advanced for your help!
Same issue
Hello,
I've got exactly the same issue and do not find any answer
Thank you for your help!
Etienne
Same here..
Same problem here, It just shows the samsung logo and that's all, I can't finish installing firmware
Stuck with first screen
I am also stuck with the opening screen. Prior being bricked the phone went through the washing machine. Board was cleaned. It still has carrier SIM lock on it. I am digging the forum for imput, but no luck so far.
With USB clable plugged in it shows only a small phone and computer icon with yellow triangle+exclamation mark on the dotted line between them. Cannot load the hard reset menu. The Download menu with big triangle comes up, that showed at least the display is working.
Odin 4.38 was able to flash the Clockworkmod, but no Gingerbread or some other update. The time runs happily but MIBIB will not load, and i must turn everything off.
I have the same issue. Wondering if there is a fix for this. Can boot into download mode but not Clockworkmod Recovery. Stuck at Samsung screen.
Okay well I found a fix!
I was trying to update CWM Recovery via Odin when I still had Froyo installed on the device. Classic rookie error. You need gingerbread to use the latest CWM. All I had to do was install an official samsung gingerbread ROM via Odin and then I was able to re-install CWM sucessfully. Now running CM9 on my Galaxy Mini and everything is great, very snappy (few bugs though)

Installed wrong upgrade with odin

Hello
I started the process to instaling android 2.3.5. galaxy s on my samsung galaxy s II, with odin3 v1.70. Odin succesfully recognized the phone, so I clicked start. The computer and the telephone booth said do Not turn off the mobile phone. But after 20 minutes I recognized that I had to do just that, because the process didn't do nothing. So now the phone wont turn on; I tried soft reset, hard reset, turn on the recovery mode and turn on download mode but nothing works. The telphone is dead I even put the charge adapter and wont charge. I dont know what to do please help. Am I going to loose the warrianty beacause of that? What can I do to recover the software, what can I do to put back android 2.3.3. up again or. what can I do that in the shop won't notice what have I done? I am such a dush:// Please subscribe://

Kies Firmware Update Screwed up my 6210

I plugged in my device and Kies said there was a firmware update. I let it go through it's paces and upon reboot, it just sits at a pulsating samsung logo.
I've tried reflashing a stock GB image using Odin. Even tried an ICS one. All of them result in the same pulsating samsung logo going nowhere.
What steps can I take from here?
Power + Vol Up
Select Wipe/Factory Reset
Cross your fingers...
Good Luck
I couldn't get recovery to come up before. But it did this time . Anyway, we're back in business. ICS is fantastic on this!
Hi people, I update my tab7+ 6210 to ICS everything was fine, but sometimes I got random reboots and today it suddenly turn off, I tried to turn on but nothing happens, so I plugged into charge but show no signs of life, I tried to enter stock recovery but accidentally enter download mode, Im screwed?, please I need some guidance. Thanks.

[SOLVED] Rogers I727R stuck on bootanimation

Sorry everyone... I tried one more time (my 5th attempt!) and it worked this time! I have no idea what happened with the earlier attempts. Thanks
Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with a Rogers Skyrocket here and hope someone can help. It was running a custom ROM, but I was given the task of returning it to stock. I don't recall which ROM was on it, but it worked nicely. I should have just kept it that way!
Thanks to vincom's super helpful posts, I got the info & file(s) needed to get this thing back to stock. I installed Odin 1.85, and extracted
I727RUXLF3_I727RRWCLF3_I727RUXLF3_HOME.tar.md5
from the zip. I started by doing a wipe/factory reset (from inside the custom rom) first, and rebooted to see that it showed the initial setup screen. Then pulled battery and booted the phone into ODIN mode. I made sure to kill Kies completely before connecting the phone to my laptop (WinXP). Then launched Odin, hit the PDA button, loaded up the above file, left the check-boxes as they were, and flashed. It was successful, and rebooted the phone.
The rogers logo appears, and the samsung galaxy bootanimation comes up, and it continues to animate.... forever (for the record, I waited 20 minutes, more than enough time). I can pull the battery and try to boot again but it still stays on the bootanimation. I'm not sure what else to do? I can still get into stock recovery or Odin mode. Can anyone help? Thanks
