Hey
I'm sorry for posting this question in this thread but I had two threads opened and I realized that I posted in the wrong thread when it was already too late.
So I edited this post because I cannot delete it.
Could you please help me...I tried to install Android on my htc hd2 and I wanted to download Android (MDJ FroYo HD
v4.6 (Dec 19)) but i don´t want to spam your forum with my unquallified posts to get the permission.
Thanks
Hi Jasmin,
I have moved this to general Q&A you can still download the rom of your choice without spamming
What are you after? Nand or run from SD? You do know that MDJ's roms have been taken down, but there are many others to chose from
What experience d you have with flashing your HD2, have you hardspl yet?
Cheers.
I'm new to Android and I used sublimewulf's tutorial to root my Optimus v. Worked well.
Now I'm looking at JerryScript's CyanogenMod7 and have some questions. I can't ask in Jerry's forum because I'm new.
Will "recovery-Thunderc-v-1.2.0GNM" work ok?
Will I have to flash each new daily or does it update?
I am running Stock Rom Rooted and De Odexed minus Bloat
so do I need to use "update from previous Backside-IHO build" or
"installing from another ROM?
Thank you all
Welcome to forums
Thread moved to Q&A due to it being a question. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.
I notice my post doesn't show up in questions do, I guess I won't be getting any answers
Hello Xda forums,
I've read and used these forums to much success in rooting, flashing a custom ICS rom before, and fixing a soft-brick in the past.
Lately my SGS2 from Rogers hasn't been cooperating with Kies and I've tried every solution I could possible find in order to fix this to get the official ICS release from Rogers, to no avail.
I was wondering if it's possible just to flash the stock ROM of ICS from Sammobile as a workaround to upgrading through Kies, and would I have to wipe data and re-install stuff like CWM and the like or will those stay on my phone through the update?
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated
Thank You.
If you've read and used these forums as you claim then you should be well enough aware. There are device specific forums for questions like this. If you had a device without a forum then it would be a good idea to post here, but as there are specific forums for the SGS2 you would be far better off posting there.
Well since I am a new user I can't post replies in those forums, and directed me to post in General or Q&A forums so here I am.
I have read threads, but following instructions that have been clearly laid out for you is fairly easy and doesn't take much sense to do.
You can't post in the Developer forum - which is correct as this is NOT a development question. There are both General and Q&A forums within the SGS forum - that is where you should be posting.
Hello
I'd like to know if it is possible to ask for a simple ROM, just the last one, rooted ?
Thanks a lot

Hello
I'm still looking for a stock ROM rooted
if you just want root and the stock rom, then root and don't flash a custom rom
Finally i was able to root my Motorola XT535 and yesterday i switched to Official ICS 4.0.4, altough its a Chinese version we can change its language settings to English.
If anyone needs the procedure to Root and Flash your Moto XT535..?
Then I can provide you the Procedure.
Thanks for trying to be helpful, but for the second time, you posted this in the Question and Answer section. Please do not create any more threads in Q&A unless you are asking a question. Furthermore, full rooting guide are already available in the Motorola Defy section. Moved to General.
