im having some trouble with stock dialer in 2.1 phone.apk i think
is it safe to remove it and download another one from the market?
or is there a newer version from stock 2.3 or 2.3 i can simply apply or overwrite it?

Sorry, I don't have it, but if you root through the .ZIP file you used to flash 2.3.3, you should be able to find the APK in there, likely in the system/app folder.

Or if you reflash the rom again without wiping anything it should put it back in there for you.

open the file that you used to flash the 2.3.4 then open system then app and scroll down to dialertabactivity.apk and there it is copy it and push it to /system/app/
and/or you could go with a better dialer like TouchPal Dialer free from market it shows your recent call history just above the dialer and calls with one click just like a sense dialer
I need it too. I can't find it.
Look into extreme dialer 3

download one of the zip files from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=949972
pull the apk and replace the one you have in system/app. make sure you have a backup though
Okay, so I tried pushing the apk, but it didn't work. I keep getting a force close when I try opening the dialer.

On the stock phone app, you can delete all call log but but one by one. I miss that. Is there any modified version around? Thanks.

You're on stock TMO DE JB, I think?
HTC invented a write protection with that update. It's hard coded into the stock kernel and prevents you from writing anything into the system folder.
All you have to do in this case is to flash a custom kernel for sense. Please look for flar2s elemental or bulletproof kernel in the development section and flash one of them. Bulletproof is as close as possible to stock.
I think thats it. Else write an answer here.
No I've changed to panaroid
