Is it possible ? Thanks in advance

No, you have to push some files over (or flash via recovery) so need root.
My understanding is it only works on 2.3.4 roms.

Does anyone know if its possible to do a dual boot? I'm thinking miui with eaglesblood cm7 choice on boot would be sick. Did some searching didn't find any info....

There is an app in the market made for this but doesnt currently support G2x... Its called Boot manager.
It's possible. I was looking at how they did it for the desire HD. Probably replace a few values and maybe it'll work.

That would be sweet... although I have no idea how to do such a thing

Anyone tried it yet?

Maybe if we get enough people to email the creators of boot manager, we might be able to get it supported for our phones?

I'm thinking of using the desire hd method, if it works. I don't want to dual boot and don't have enough space on my sdcard so I might need testers. Won't be able to work on it until a month from now .

What method is that?

Partitioning sdcard with partitions for system data and cache.

I would know how to partition... but what would you use as an interface to choose which partition on boot?

I looked at this some time back so I don't remember the specifics. When I have time I'll look at it again.

Hey all, I was wondering if your stock DLNA works with custom ROMs? The only ROM that it works on for me is stock. Any thouhts?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Yes it has always worked for me
What ROM are you on now and what other ROMs have you tested it on?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
For it to work you need to have a rom that gives you the option to install my files and all share cast.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
I have all share cast, what are my files?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
It's the stock file browser

OK so my ROM does not have my files, but I searched and downloaded the apk. When I move it to the system/app folder, change permissions and rebooted it doesn't show up, and when I try an install, it fails. Any thought/ advice?

i'm currently looking for a way to do it myself, but my impression so far is that it's for TW roms, not AOSP
