I have been working on a black and gray them form manila 2.1. (at&t pure) I have also altered the windows grapics (i.e. highlights and buttons) to match. After much searching I was able to fine every file and edit witht the exception of the separator bars for the 4 day weather (they are still blue). I have searched through all manila files with CFC multiple times and have started believing it is not here but yet it continues to stare at me as blue on a black background. Is it not a graphic file? I would like to post this as a theme (including windows graphic mods) and possibly make cab files but it feels so incomplete. I appreciate any help in locating this annoying blue separator bar so I can finish this project.

I installed the black and red carbon fiber theme from touchblog.com and made my own red icons for the tf3d tabs because I didnt like the grey ones. For the life of me I can't find the manila file for the sprint tv tab, does anyone know the name of this file? I'm using the manila editor and i have checked every file in the windows folder. Or if anyone has the time to send me a cab with the sprint tv icon changed to a red icon for both on,off,preview etc for the tabs then that would be great. I just cant find the manila file unless im overlooking it 20 times

Just look for the exe, as it probably contains the icon, you will need a resource editor though, check out reshack (free) cheers 12
Hi, I'm running Dutty's 2.5 Leo HG R0 on my Topaz and have started to look at skinning the taskbar icons, however my HTCVolumeControl.dll doesn't contain any icon resources, in fact it contains nothing, whereas older DLL's that are available in these forums have the 3 icons I need to skin, I've tried using them but the older DLL's cause bugs with other parts of Manilla.
I've found the 3 sound icons in the shellres.192.dll & Leo_phcanOverbmp.dll and have replaced them, however when I copy the dll's back over to the phone and soft reset I get the new icon(s) appearing for about 5-10 seconds but are then replaced with the stnadard white icons while Sense 2.5 is loaded on top on WinMo, I can't for the life of me find another dll resource with the volume icons to update
I've also tried changing the registry value: HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\LoadIconFromResDLL to 1 with a soft reset but it hasn't worked
Am I missing something?, where are the 3 volume icons I need to replace if they aren't in the HTCVolumeControl.dll and the shellres.192.dll ones are being superseded when Sense loads

Ok, probably not really 68 versions, but there are loads of versions of this app around all with different icons, and practically identical apps.
Couldn't someone just write something that points to one of a pair of .png files which reside in the system folder which can hence be replaced by the user to match their other taskbar icons?
In the meantime I'm after a WVGA version with a nice icon to match the typical XPERIA / HTC taskbar icons (which are all white, but I don't mind if it's blue so long as it hasn't been put on a blue sphere or something equally random. I did find one with a white icon but it was very low res). Currently Aluke's version seems to be the best of the bunch.

I'm looking for a hint to change the notification-bar for the homescreen of my HD2. I' m using GOATRIP's Pure Black 4.6 Custom-ROM with CHT-Editor 1.7.1.2.
Backround:
This ROM-theme is quite simple and only black and white. But the notification bar is colored.
So I want to change the notification bar into white-grey. I'm able to edit the certain manila file "6467A103_manila" with the Manila Editor (v. 0.2) but I'm not able to erase a notification-type - e.g. E-Mails - completly. If I make this part of the extrated png-file blank there will be afterwards a blank field in the middle of the notification bar with an "0". Also the size is a little bit to small. If I enlarge the scale of the extracted png-file it has after transfering back to the original manila file no effect in size. Only to the changes in colors. So there must be a little bit more to be changed than only this manila-file. Any suggestions?
I've found the attached picture of a notification bar which would be fantastic for my homescreen. Does anybody has this manila file for me?

i've trying to skin a qvga theme for 6.5.5 (build 23569) to get the background in black and the text in white, sort of the opposite of what the current look is in WinMo...
i've searched all over xda and a ton on other pda sites but i kept drawing blanks and heading into dead-ends...
i just need to know how to get an effect similar to what is achieved here or here
but instead of a gray shade or partial blackened areas, i'd like it all to be a solid black color with white text...
the only option that i can see left for me is to build up a theme from scratch but despite of the tiny few tutorials posted here, the all crucial part regarding the background color is still shockingly missing...
so...anyone??
