What the hell???? The 4G is 5x faster. I have a 30/4 connection. It shows up as 2500/150K when I do a speed test with wifi. I have a wireless-n router so it's not like there's a bandwidth issue with the wireless. Other wirelessly connected devices get about the full speed of the connection, so why is my Infuse so slow?

To basically 1/10th that and 200ms ping. On the same test server. The hell?
Edit: I pressed the test button about 500 times in a row and it's up to 10Mbps and 3.5Mbps.. Is 10Mbps the limit on the phone or something? I see no reason for it to just go half way up and then stop again.

My house has Linksys WTR-610N and enable 802.11n.
But my Nexus S can't see this SSID.
What should I do?
Please see setting of wireless in attachment picture

It doesn't run on 5GHz N. It runs just fine on 2.4GHz N.
I recently just got a Dual Band N router also, and none of my N devices sees 5GHz N, so I turned it off and ran 2.4GHz BGN, and all my devices both G and N can connect to it just fine at full speeds.
Thankyou I'll try this setting when I back home
has anyone noticed that speed test wont go pass 9mbs? im always at 9.7 or so it'll never hit above that.
tested in speakeasy.net/speedtest and the speed test app.
feel's like the phone is capped at 10mbs lol
weird i just tethered my phone to my PC and I got 34mbs down and 2.0up -_-

On network i get around 7Mb (maybe up to 9Mb with a strong signal)
On wifi a little over 13Mb
Phone's theoretical max is 14.4Mb so not too bad.
I have the unlimited plan and i just crossed my 3gb limit half way through my billing cycle and I haven't been throttled. Is throttling in effect? Anybody else throttle free after there "limit"?
...........
if u haven't been, u will be. Try to use a little as possible til cycle resets. If its not a constant issue, and is rare, u may never be throttled. This is really only for users who are consistent
Past 3 gb and still going strong.

I never seem to connect to 3g, only 4g or 1x. So either I have a great connection or a really crappy one. I never see 3G.
Is this normal?
Are you running a custom rom? If so, which one?
I'm in the opposite boat. Too much 3g very little 4g lol. Its my area tho

Trust me, you're not missing anything! 3G on Verizon is obviously their new 1X speeds!

I have installed this firewall but it doesn't give me enough information on what app request access to internet, is there another way to figure that out? Thanks

If I'm right then bandwidth is the maximum amount of data transmitted over an Internet connection in a given amount of time, it's how much information you receive every second. It's measured in Mbps.
To monitor bandwidth usage on a per app basis then you might use
