All I see are tutorials on making and editing HTC Skins for Windows.
I do not want to buy Windows for my MacBook Pro.
Is there anything we can do on a Mac?

The only app that my Vibrant had that I wish I had on my Sensation, is the Sammy Calculator. It was awesome. When I try to install the apk file from my Sammy, it says it failed. Anyone know if it is possible?

I think that apk requires the touchwiz framework, so no it may not be possible - unless someone modified the apk to work with other phones. Might have to search xda for that if it exists.
The HTC calc has some big ass numbers.

could we see a rom which imitates a desktop experience with windows and apps running in windows? Not all apps but small ones like two text files side by side, I think that would be crazy

Use use remote desktop if you want that experience.
But to use independently, it would require tons of development.

Just got my sensation after fooling around with a vibrant for a while. Question for you guys. I download a lot of music directly from the handset. What do you guys feel is the best way to sync it with pc?
I use doubletwist but I've heard that winamp also does it well too.

I haven't used winamp since my first mp3. Double twist looks interesting but seems very iTunes focused. I'll have to check them out.

Only Windows Phones or the HD2. Plus, Windows Phone isn't open sourced so it would be illegal and the developer might get a C&D order.

No, windows is a closed source project. You can try launcher8 from the play store if you want a windows feeling to your phone though...
