Switch of AutoSync and Background data if you dont require
After Flashing install Battery Calibration App from the market

All ROM's are Flashable .tar via ODIN. Select One Package while formatting. Use ROM Flasher to flash the ROM over any previous ROM.
You need to change the filesystem formats using the FileSystem Changer.

hey dharam.... here are the test results.... and i must say the battery life is indeed very good...... the test parameters are like you specified in your previous message..... btw i couldn't make the changes as per your last pm as i just cam online now...... and these test results are without the ATK settings...
Unplugged phone at 8:30 am after clicking on calibrate battery - battery 100% - used atk once to kill everything except set cpu.
Recorded video from 8:30 - 1:30, talked on the phone for 20 mins between around 10:00. - battery left 45%
talked on the phone for 15mins and browsed internet using stock browser for 20 mins (btw stock browser seems to be a battery hog). batter left - 45%.
The phone was idle from 2:00 - 5:30.
Listened to music till 6:10 at full volume using stock music player app. Accidently rebooted the phone once at 6:10.(the phone was lagging a lot, but that could have been due to set cpu profile or back ground apps).
Did some light messaging with friends. (70 messages sent and received approx.)
battery left - 42%, time - 6:29 p.m.
took some screen-shots at 6:30.
did messaging from 9:30 to 10:30. (about 100 messages).
11:25 right now.... battery left 22%..... recording video to drain battery...... may also call.....
it finally died now at 1:05.... was talking from 11:30 -1:05!.....
okay so i'm pretty much impressed with battery life till now...... btw i liked the black android theme on the rom......

Sorry, I found no thread for Q&A for this ROM, so I'll just post my quick question here... so far the ROM seems pretty solid and is working... seems smooth, but I'm a bit disappointed with the Quadrant benchmark scores.
How does one access the overclock settings so I can tweak to MY liking?

what is your score?
we have the top scores among sense 3 roms
max on 998 and we get 2400 with quadrant
however, don't rely much on scores
and sorry but didn't understand the last line

My score was roughly 1600 out of the box. I've since installed SetCPU, cranked it up to 1.6 ghz on the ondemandX gov - it hit 2279 - on MIUI at 1.4ghz on the same gov it hits 2800-2900 every time.
I was looking for the stock overclock settings, to manually tune such as with SetCPU.

miui and cyanogen roms have highest benchmark
because they haven't htc sense
comparing between sense rom and aosp rom is not true
and you must take benchmark for 3 times

So you're at 2460 without any mods to the CPU frequency? I'm running the Inspire - will that have an effect? Is there anything I can do to get to the speeds you are at? Even overclocked with SetCPU I'm not hitting where you are. Thanks for explaining the differences from MIUI to Sense - I get that part, and sorry for the unfair comparison. But I do want to get at least where you're at... lol

im not using any mods for cpu.my cpu freq is 998 and no using set cpu
smartass gornover is better than ondemondx
if you want get high benchmark
kill all task
and go to quardant and get benchmark 5 times
the highest is your benchmark
my highest benchmark is 2460 but the average is 2200

7. Open Redemption Tools from Settings Menu and make it your own.
8. Rate the thread and hit some "Thanks" buttons!

Sloth - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = ondemand 122/921
flappjaxxx - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = ondemand 122/1152
rasroy - Sleep = conservative 122/384 + Wake = ondemandX 122/1382
Nun - Sleep = conservative 230/384 + Wake = ondemand 230/1228

In the CPU Tab hit your Menu button and you will see CPU Tweak.
CPU Tweak is exactly that, it will allow you to fully customize your Sleep and Wake Governors and Clock Speeds.
*Warning* Do be careful with this as using incorrect settings may have ill effects.
Do not use these setting unless you know what you are doing.
Undervolting:
Lite Undervolt = -25mV
Standard Undervolt = -50mV
Aggressive Undervolt = -75mV

Essentially yes. Ascension is based off asopX and Redemption is based off IceColdSandwhich. They share the same kernel and the tools we used with Absolution, but that is about the only similarities.

Ota update shows there is an update to alpha 7.0 with the date 1/3/2012 while this forum shows alpha 3.3 with the date 5/3/2012. Should i perform the update?

For everyone asking what's the difference between ascension and this one?," its ROM control you don't have that in ascension...that's more stock this is more tweaked "! I loved ascension awesome battery life and performance but I also missed changing battery indicators , weather etc . So I downloaded this right away! This is perfect!

I've not had a wifi problem since the first test build. If you are having problems, please jump on over to the Q&A thread and give us some more information about the problem and we'll try to help you get it sorted out.

About time!
First ics rom I have ever used that my games did not inexplicably freeze! Great work, and as always anxiously awaiting the next build!

Been on this for 4 days now. Hard to believe that ICS could be so smooth and problem free for me. Hard to see how anything could dethrone this one. Great job with this Roy, and thanks for the opportunity to be a small part in all of this.

been using this rom for a few days now and ever since i put it on my phone its been rainy and wet outside. The other day we had hail and it was 70 some degrees. Other than that everything is perfect. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update. On a more serious note temple run doesnt recognize swipes. I switched back to absolution for a minute and it ran perfect... then wiped and reinstalled cheese d_ick and still doesnt recognize swipes. That is really the only thing ive noticed.

great work, Roy. a-1 daily driver - really no reason for anyone to be on GB anymore, IMHO.

Noticed the same issue with age of zombies touch is not registered correctly but it is alpha and a good alpha at that, I can't wait till they get it running as smooth as leisure suit

Great rom , no bugs at all

Wow. First things first, we need more ROMs like this. Brilliant work.
This ROM is smooth, I mean smooth. I've been using it for an hour or so now and am very impressed. APEX is a good choice of launcher too. As for the gaming performance, well. It's definitely the best performance from a ICS rom but not quite as good as a GB rom. However this is expected considering ICS has not been officially released yet.
Working Camcorder! Yes! Finally. This is fantastic news, although it is laggy as **** in 720p. Still, another work in progress, but it's a start and I'm looking forward to recording in 720p
Apps... There are a few of unnecessary apps. But settings have a few hints to upcoming features which I'm looking forward too such as a theme selection tool.
Anyhow, I will continue to post feedback as well as bugs that I may come across.

Yes, finally Melchizedek got its own thread
Running version 1.5.1 now since last Thursday, and it is really stable and reliable even for daily usage.
Actually I only had once a reboot of my mobile while browsing with Dolphin Browser HD. For camera I use a 3rd party app which works fine.
The only requests I would have are still:
1. The lockscreen delay is not properly working. Screen is locked immediately and not after the selected time - when I lock the screen manually.
2. The mobile data option would be great to be selectable as well within the profiles.
Otherwise working perfectly until now.
Looking forward on the next release of that nice ICS rom!
