Epic fail.
I personally am glad that this is a Samsung. Better screen quality and it doesn't weigh 5 or 6 pounds. Not to mention the fact that it probably would have come with a locked bootloader at least initially.
It is pretty sad that their marketing department overlooked such an obvious error.
Any other Samsung phone besides the infuse and I'd be wishing it were an HTC too.

hmmm.. why all the hate on samsung? My infuse is freakin amazing. Way faster than my dual core tablet was, sexy UI, takes less than 5 seconds to root. Granted the battery life isn't GREAT and it takes 5 hours to charge, but that's how samsung does it, amazing performance comes at a small price.
The new ad for the chicago area says full 1080p video recording....

Yeah, I had no problems, think I was the third in my store and it was just standard time to switch the phone over. Had a brief issue w/logging into my google account, but I may have been typing something wrong. I would say I was in there less than a 1/2 hour even w/the wait time.
I asked if they had any extras and was told no, even though there was a pile of them on the sales desk..

She got her Infuse today and I quickly rooted it, wiped it and installed MIUI on it. She loves it.

She sent her HTC Surround back saying it would overheat and cut off a lot. (And it did)
So she got the Infuse for free from AT&T because they wanted to make her a happy customer.
Oh wow, your Infuse (and your wifes), look amazing, especially all decked out in MIUI.

For MIUI those icons look hella small >< The one thing I love about MIUI (other then customization) is the fact that it gives us big fat icons. Easy to click for those of us with fat thumbs!
My wife and I rock the infuse too with MIUI loaded on it. My wife is not technologically inclined but she loves the customization that MIUI offers.
I have thata exact case too and miui. Its one of the best phones out there

Very nice, that Ballistic case is really growing on me...
Engadget has a Nexus review in which they line up the Nexus, Nitro and SkyRocket around the 3:50 mark.
After watching this I don't regret the SkyRocket at all. What I really wanted was a bigger screen, the resolution to me is nearly not even a factor. And I still believe the SR has more usable screen space. Disagree with me if you wish, these are just my opinions.

I saw this phone (Nexus) yesterday. played with it. personally I think its a bust.. I put my Sr next to it and could not tell the difference. It's just a bridge for other phones to break out next year.. Its the first Android with ICS so I will wait till all the bugs are gone and boom ICS for the SR bug free!

I took a look at the LG Nitro in a store just now. To be honest, the display didn't impress me much. I only noticed the HD capabilities when I played an HD video on the demo unit.

Yep, and that thing was so damn laggy, it wasn't funny.
The Skyrocket unit was just as snappy as mine, which was a real shocker for a display unit.
I love my Skyrocket, and will NOT give it up..
Unless of course the Note comes out, then.... yeah.

Yes I also agree the Big Launcher will be fine. If you are looking for simplicity and easy to use. Have a look at John's Phone (https://www.johnsphones.com/ww/en/)
The price seems to be not too bad and it has many designs to choose from.

Hell Im willing to sell a whole phone and car dock for slightly more. I think if it was ran over by two cars it might be beyond repair tho. Ive seen what a car does to a Droid X being run over once and this phone is not quite a sturdy.
