anyone knows how to root effectively and safely a SGS 4G?
i kept looking at some threads but cant seem to find one, and some are quite old already and im not sure if it still works, if possible can someone post a link of the thread. thanks guys

I believe I have a stock root on my vibrant, and I am looking to learn how to basically do everything... an explanation of what everything is, and how to's on adb's basically new to the root world... hoping someone could give me an insight.
I have rooted already, and I have flashed a new keyboard. But not really sure. Any help would be. Greatly appreciated!

If you want to find something SPECIFIC, use the advanced search in the forum, enter what you want to know (1 or 2 words) and search by THREAD ONLY.
I know I'm just one simple user, but it seems almost impossible for me to get any ROMS for my brand new Sidekick 4G when ALL... and I mean ALL the links are in multiupload. Which has been down for 2 weeks so far, making it impossible for anyone to get any ROMs.
So could anyone please re-upload any ROMs?... thank you.

I know people have probably answerd this question many times. but Ive searched for days tring to figure this out. i have an evo 3d that i root with the htc method. i am a nood to rooting and only know a few things. i still have a stock kernel with synergy rom. when i try to connect to wifi it jusst says error. and 4g doesnt scan. and also my camra it just shows a weird picture. i really hope someone can help. and im really sorry if this was already answerd. please help
i have been a long time android user but dont post often so it wont let me post in the this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1951960. Im not a newb but also not a professional. any way. Im trying to use my verizon s3 for mirror link on my sony xva 701hd. the rom i was using is this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1953008. I couldnt get it to work at all, just keeps saying phone not supported. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can try to get it to work because i really like the rom. thanks for all the help.
Hello all. I have looked and looked and have not found an answer to this question. Is it possible to root my zte n9520 without a computer? I have tried most (that I could find anyway) of the apk root apps and have come up with nothing that works. The ones that I have used for previous phones do not work with this phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Regarding the possible root of the ZTE MAX n9520 without a computer, if anyone has an idea how, or better yet, what would be needed to get this rooted. I am asking if anyone may be working on this and is looking for things from the device that would require to get this root app going? I will be happy to do what I can to help. Just let me know.
