Can't install youtube app - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Belgian transformer without the YouTube app. I'm trying to install the apk (which worked for others), but it just says "application not installed". My tf is rooted, but no custom rom.
any suggestions?

i think you got some other regions version.

forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15817110&postcount=19
that one worked for me ! try it

Thanks, that one did the trick!
It's weird that the other one didn't work (since it worked for other belgian transformers), but hey, who cares, it's working now

Same for me.
So what to conclude? Youtube is not installed on Transformers sold in Belgium?
Happy to see that the previously mentioned post helped Dauntless.
I'll try it also this evening with mine.

Belgium isn't officially supported by YouTube yet. From what I've heard, sabam is (as usual) blocking nice things for us.

Nook

I downloaded the nook asp from the market earlier on today. I haven't started it yet though.
Tonight I went to check it out but it wasn't on my nexus one so I went to market to check if it had been installed but it no longer exists in the market. I'm sure that it was installed though.
I'm based in the uk by the way if that's a factor. Was it remotely installed or something else? Thanks in advance.

i installed then uninstalled it so we definitely did have it at some point but now its gone, guess it must have been for USA only.
I'm in the US, and Nook app shows here on AT&T.
The only requirement I can find on their webpage is that you have Android 1.6 or higher. I feel like they should have mentioned if it was for USA only.
It's still installed and showing up in the market for me on Verizon.
Doesn't show up anymore on European markets but using Market Enabler and US setting, it shows up.
I installed this few days ago when it was available also without Market Enabler. Cool app, but I prefer real books.

Please post the APK
Hi Guys,
I live outside the US but have a Nook and many B&N ebooks that I've bought. I don't want to root my Desire (to get around the market place regional issues) so would be grateful if someone can post the Nook APK.
Cheers,
Paul
Doesn't show in the market in Sweden, but some MarketEnabler magic remedied that!
Download it from Barnes and Noble, thats where i got it from.
i cant get this app i have tried every thing dose anyone have it they can post

[Q] Order and Chaos (gameloft) ?

Gameloft just released Order and Chaos online for Android and I was wondering if anyone has tried it for Transformer yet?
I just searched for it on the Google and Amazon markets and didn't see it.

Market link: Order & Chaos Online
it starts then it says:
"your device is not compatible, please request a refund"
edit: just found a tegra 2 version. going to try it out.
Nope, not working. Someone said it works on the Acer Iconia A500.
Dude, you have to report if you got it working ! that looks like awesomeness =)
Maybe someone could try editing their build.prop to make it work? I purchased it on the market and it works on my Captivate. I saw a thread on the gameloft forums where it is working on Gtablets. I installed it on my Transformer but get the error message that it isn't compatible even though I downloaded the tegra 2 resource files and put them where they need to go. If a simple build.prop change could fix this that would be fantastic. I'm not rooted and left the cable at work so I can't root to try it. However if anyone rooted gets it working I will definitely be rooting. I was hoping that after purchasing it on my phone it would show up on my Transformer under uninstalled purchased apps but no go

no go. Tried the build prop from lg optimus and acer iconia tab. stil says device not compatible. I dont get why gameloft wouldnt make an effort to have this tablet ready on launch.I guess its honeycomb. Im so disappointed. I doubt they wil ever add tablet support. They are pretty lame with updates
oh how I want a fix for this. Until then I'll use my thunderbolt but this would be so much better on a 10.1 inch screen
There is an "AllDevices" version now available which install, updates and runs to a point.
I managed to create a new character and accept the first quest before getting a FC.
Haven't tried further so far but going to give it another go.
The screen doesn't seem to quite fit, a small portion appears to be lost at the top.
Managed to complete a few more quests before the next FC.
FPS looks sparodic and like I said the screen isn't quite right, some text missing from top of pop up windows etc, buttons take a couple of presses to register sometimes but all in all looks a good game and quite playable without the FCs.
nice, did a search for "all devices version" loaded my char up and I've had no isuues so far
What rom/kernal/version of honeycomb are you using? I installed it and it force closes after about a minute in in game

How do you get the all devices version or tegra2 version or whatever, should I just buy from the market? Wanna try this out
I can't manage to get this to run without force closing after a few minutes. Ice it doesn't force close for you?

Not working (well) for me either on gt10.1. Rooted just so I could edit the build.prop, but none of them seem any better. Top ΒΌ of the screen is cut off and force closes after a few minutes. I got the the backend files from - mobile phone talk dot com.

yes I'm getting fc as well. Sorry, I only tried for a few min when I first posted. Now I logged on today and fc twice so I'm back to playing on my thunderbolt

[Q] NBA Game Time 2011-2012/NBA.TV

Hi,
I have a request. Does some know how to make NBA Game Time 2012-2012 or NBA.TV app work on kindle fire. I tried through android market but it says that my device is not compatible.
Do you have any advice to solve this problem ?
(If by any chance you have the apk to install this I would really appreciate sending my liknk through PM)
Best regards,
I will ask differenlty ;-)
May someone from US who has access to Android Market, download NBA Game Time 2011-2012 and make backup of it and then post a link to a apk file so we can test if it works on Kindle Fire?
Thank in advance!
I need the app also. I have a dell streak 7 from t-mobile that I reloaded with the streak 7 honeycomb rom. Now the app wont install because it allows streak7 t-mobile but not the wifi that the honeycomb rom is based off of. Its too smart for its own good.
I pulled the APK from my Inc2, and it's odd since it's buried in another spot, not in /data/app.
I tried to install it on my kindle (unrooted) but it would get stuck at the splash screen. Anyways, here's the apk.

That one is actually the 2010-11 version, not 2011-12

Anyone have any success with this?
I will try it at home and post results here
i dont think that will work- pkg.apk is for sprint broadband nba.
The file which was included above do work on Kindle Fire. I didn't try mobile league pass because I'm not in US.
I also istalled NBA.TV app which supposed to be not only for US users and it also works on Fire but it's not dedicated for tablet so for instance I can't login to international league pass because of screen issue.
Hope it helps
I was able to install it on my Transformer, using the above link, as it wasn't in the market for me, or any other tablet user. Everything works ok, except on videos I only have audio, no video. Hopefully they update it to support all tablets, including the Fire.

That's kind of weird though since I have a Verizon device. It was the only apk that showed up when i searched nbagametimelite
I was just thinking though that maybe it's getting stuck because it's trying to do a location check?
It wasn't for Sprint broaband only but regular one. The Sprint NBA Game Time blocks me just at the beginning, this works just fine
I chatted with customer support and they say that they are working on application for android tablets but they can't tell me when we can expect it though
Could you please upload NBA.TV application too?

The pkg.apk posted works perfectly on my HP Touchpad. When I went to the Market, it stated the app was only available on my Nexus One due to carrier restriction.
The apk.pkg works fine on my Kindle Fire with the amazon OS. was watching the free LP trial earlier

it works somewhat, but I got tons of FCs
I have a galaxy tab 10.1 and I got the app from your link however I can't get any video. I just get audio can someone tell me if they have the same problem and how they fixed it.
I got the same issue!!
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using xda premium
seems kinda hit or miss. sometimes ill get a force close trying to access a video, then ill reload the app and be able to view it fine. works perfect on my phone though.
now, if we just had a workaround for the local blackouts, id buy this.

'This app is not compatible with your device' problem

HI guys, I have 'This app is not compatible with your device' message on 80% of apps on Market.... I didn't use my tablet for 3 month... it was properly working before
Now market looks different and i cannot download most of the apps.
I've tried to clean Market data, but it hangs, and when I reboot i works but issue still there.
I use Vanilla AOSP
What will be recommended action? Thank you
Give this procedure a try.
Thanks!

Thank you but suggested solution didn't work,
What worker is to update to 1.2, then I flashed GTabCombOver 3.4.2, now market works!
Good to see you sorted your problem. I get this error with the game loft data down loaders, the market let's me install them but the game downloaded gives the the incompatibility BS.
I solved this problem by getting a build.prop editor from the marketplace (should be available to most devices) and copied the settings from my HTC Glacier (MyTouch 4g). I can now download everything my MyTouch can. Some apps have minor problems, but most everything works fine. The only thing I can't d/l is the nvidia games, but I would submit that copying the build.prop settings from a phone that has the nvidia tegra would fix that problem.
I'm running the DRH ICS BETA and it has a built in build.prop editor with various selections to try but none have been successful for me, I even tried using the build.prop from my galaxy nexus but it wouldn't even boot.
change your screen dpi to 160 in the build.prop
Which settings do I change? I have the same problem. Apps that work on my Razr, don't work on here. Both are newspaper/magazine subscriptions.
Also, could the same thing be done to fool the Amazon market to think this is one of their tablets?

That doesn't really make sense. Amazon sold a ton of g-Tablets both via Woot! and Amazon itself. The g-Tablet is well-supported on the Amazon app market.

I meant specifically Kindle Fire Apps. This applies to a couple of news subscriptions that are available for I Pad, Kindle fire, but not generic Android tablets.

I found an answer to this problem. I downloaded what I needed on my Razr, did a complete backup with Titanium pro, copied the appropriate app onto SD card, put into G Tablet and install using Titanium pro. Worked great, that way the Market doesn't have to know what device I am installing this onto. The only problem was a notice that the resolution might be off. however, this was no problem.

I am using Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 (stable mod) and haven't found anything in the play store that I can't install. The only problem is using an older version of Google maps is necessary if you want to use maps. CM7 is fast and sips the battery.

tf101 compatible nbcolympics app

I saw on a transformer site that a tf101 compatible app for the Olympics could be found on xda. Can anyone tell me how to find it?
I found a couple of apps by googling, it took me to the galaxy s iii part of the forum but I haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know how it goes.
EDIT: it works. Found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29324475&postcount=26
It launches in portrait mode but videos play in landscape. You'll need a compatible cable subscription to use all the features unfortunately.

Thanks for this app, I have downloaded it and got it to work on my Transformer Prime. A few seconds after any video starts it begins to play at about half speed, with voice also at half speed. Everyone speaking sounds a little like a wookie roaring. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any fix.
Thanks
