where to fix??

i've tried everything to fix my magician and i'm at wits end. i also don't possess a windows computer anymore so i couldn't if i wanted to. i was wondering where i could send my phone to have it fixed, or if anyone on this forum is willing to fix it for a good price.
i have the very popular problem of trying to upgrade the phone to Wm5 and bricked it. it's stuck in bootloader, but changes over to USB when plugged in. i do not have an SD card for it and it charges just fine.
Any takers?
thank you!
Have you tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=499795 ???
at this point, i can't do anything since i don't have a windows compatible computer, but i will test the method when i find someone that does and get back.
i tried other methods, like using mtty.exe, soft/hard resets, and other similar solutions but turned up with nothing. let's hope this one works!
thank you
If you have the disk space and a windows xp cd, you can set easily set up a virtual machine using Virtualbox on any computer no matter what OS you're running.
I use that on windows Vista and on Ubuntu.
yeah i used to run parallels desktop on my computer, but i'm on a laptop and the RAM couldn't take it. i have a friend with a windows computer that's willing to help so hopefully this goes well.
wish me luck

Have you set up HTC Sync on the computer? I don't know if that would fix it, but it is worth a try.

[Q] usb tether xp

cm-10-20121103-NIGHTLY for evita/HTCOneXL
Tether works without a hitch on linux (Ubuntu 12.10)
Can't seem to get it to work on XP.
Turned virus-protection and firewall off. Anyone have this working on XP and give me a tutorial?
Thnx
you wont get it working in xp. xp wasn't made for that you'll have to use something like pdanet or easytether or update to vista/7/8.
