Help with Pure Root for 8.4.4.11 [please remove] - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sorry about posting in General, but I'm not allowed to post in Development.
I am currently running HC 3.1 firmware version 8.4.4.5 rooted by following the Pure Root method. Everything works fine, and I verified that I have root access with Titanium Backup.
Now, I tried to do the same thing for the new firmware version 8.4.4.11. I followed the procedure exactly, including copying the two .img files from 84411.zip into the root directory, then running root.bat.
I get all the expected success messages, both on my PC and on the TF screen. However, when I reboot, all I see is the "Asus Eee Pad" logo for about 5 seconds, then a blank screen, then the Asus logo again, forever. The TF refused to shut down and restart normally, even after a hardware reset.
I'm certain I followed the procedure correctly, as I managed to reboot into APX mode and use the older root method to get back to a working, rooted version 8.4.4.5. I tried twice more to get 8.4.4.11 working, with the same (lack of) results.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to make it work?
Thanks,
Eric

i got kinda the same problem, but it gets stuck on the splash screen

[Q] TF101 won't boot

Ok, so I gave my wife my old TF101 when I got the 701. I reflashed it with a fresh install of timduru's KatKiss ROM. It's been running reasonably well aside from random reboots. all of a sudden, yesterday it stopped booting up at all. It shows the normal Asus flash screen, but then when it shows the OS specific one (in this case, the weird little picture of timduru's meerkat thing...) it's just flashing random little bits of tha tpitcure all over different parts of the screen an some sort of random flickering and never going past it. I can still boot to the recovery normally, so I wiped it and tried reflashing the same ROM and ended up with the same thing. Tonight I plan to try to download the newer version of the ROM and try, but I fear I may be SOL. Any other suggestions?
Have you tried wiping everything 100% in TWRP Recovery?
Including Data etc ?

Yes, I did that. Still no good. I'm pretty much screwed, aren't I?
If your TF serial number starts B6O or lower, some B7Os too, then it is SBK1, which means you can use NVFLASHable ROMs - they delete and remake every partition on the TF and reinstall stock ROM - you could try that in case the sdcard is corrupt
stuck at TWRP screen, failed to flash bootloader
Hello everyone,
Not to thread jack but I have a similar problem and instead of opening a new thread I decided to revive this one.
I have a similar problem that my TF101 has been working flawlessly for many years. It is rooted and was running 4.3 ROM. As of yesterday, it just won't boot at all. It has been stuck at the NVidia screen and just sits there. I tried to enter recovery mode by using volume(-) + power and the unit presents the TWRP logo and just loops as well by showing the TWRP screen (3 seconds) then going blank for a second then showing TWRP screen again in a cycle. I downloaded and tried Easyflasher and Brks toolkit and nothing can complete the flash. I can enter MTP mode which the computer can see the device but the manufacturer name and model are not-recognized. I can also enter APX mode but while trying to flash anything I get an error message (error, cannot flash bootloader) and the computer dings (device disconnects).
I have been trying for a day now and have run out of ideas.
Has the unit finally bit the dust? Does any one out there have any more ideas or suggestions on what to try next?
TIA for any help provided.

[Q] How-to restore a TF300T with the newest firmware that is not starting up

Dear guys and girls,
I have a problem. Since 2 days my tf300t is for some reason not starting up anymore. The start screen does not go away. Before it worked like a charm. I have tried almost everything, I can think of. As far as I know the latest firmware is installed. The problem is also that the tablet isn't in developer mode. So my options are limited afaik to fastboot. I have installed the naked drivers version 0.73. But windows is saying that the device is not started. Only fastboot is started as device. I have tried to reinstall the firmware by usb, but to no avail. It sends but doesn't write... I have drained the battery to zero level. Can anyone help me with this? What am I missing?

I'm also having this same issue. Tablet was working fine and then froze up. After rebooting we are now stuck on the Asus screen with the circular logo going. Waited over an hour with no change. Tried to boot into recovery and recovery crashes and gives me Error! This is a stock tablet that hasn't been unlocked or anything.
Update: Did a Data Wipe and the device rebooted and came up. Doing all the updates again. Hopefully it wont mess up again.
So you have an unlocked bootloader ?

[Q] Flashed stock ROM with flashify (rooted phone), unable to get past recovery

Good evening ,
Yesterday I did a very stupid thing, I was trying to update my phone to 5.0 Lollipop, I found a way to do it with flashify but instead of taking the custom rom image I chose the stock rom downloaded from ASUS website, since then the phone won't go past the ASUS logo, I can only get into recovery mode, can't get into fastboot. I tried deleting the cache and then factory reset, to no avail, phone turns on, ASUS logo appears and then the screen goes black, then blank and that forever.
I tried to user fastboot with the phone plugged in recovery mode, ADB recognizes it, device manager sees it (both Android ADB and USB Composite Device), no exclamation mark, latest drivers installed, both from Intel and Google but it doesn't show up when running the cmd fastboot devices, nothing worked, I don't what else to do, hope someone can help me.
Asus Padfone Infinity Lite, 32GB TW version, can't remember the number though

Unbrick ZenPad Z170CG

It's stuck at the ASUS logo. A friend gave it to me to fix since it wouldn't download apps from google play which led me to believe that it had software problems so I decided to update it. It's worth noting that it kinda bricked itself after factory resetting before the current brick. It wouldn't boot and it was stuck at the ASUS logo, but somehow it fixed itself after several reboots. After it fixed had itself, the problem with not being able to download apps was still present. One time I turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on. I tried to go into recovery, but then I realized that the recovery was gone too. It was stuck at "no command" screen, so the only way to modify the files was through the bootloader. I found a firmware zip with the .bin files in it, so I flashed them one by one and I got the recovery back. Installed the update via a good sd card and it was stuck at the ASUS logo. I sideloaded it through recovery and got the same result. I also tried sideloading it through the bootloader which also gave me the same result. I'm all out of options I can think of. If anyone has any idea, please share it.
Thanks in advance!

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 stuck in boot after rooting attempt

Hi,
so i was trying root my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 using Magisk. I followed multiple guides on how to do this as this tablet is pretty hard to root. I tried using the TWRP recovery method but i couldn't find a TWRP version that worked on the tablet. So i decided to use the Patched Stock Boot Image method instead. I searched everywhere but i couldn't find a stock boot image for the firmware version of the tablet. I found it on a few websites but non of the downloads were working. I found threads and discussions where people had the same problem, but none of the download links were working. So i decided to try using the stock boot image with the closest firmware version to mine that i could find. The image was called YT3-X50F_USR_S000022_1606061517_Q1241_ROW_QPST. I don't remember what firmware my tablet have, and i can't find out because the tablet is stuck in boot. When rooting the tablet i used multiple guides, but mainly this one. So anyways i used Magisk to patch the image file. Then i flashed the boot image to the tablet and rebooted and now it is constantly booting. It just shows the Lenovo logo. I can't power it off, holding the power butting just reboots. I can't access the bootloader or the recovery menu, when i hold the correct buttons it tries to boot in to the bootloader, but then the tablet reboots and goes back to being stuck in the boot sequence. I have searched the internet for answers and i found people with similar problems, but i didn't find any solutions to my problem. Have i bricked the device? I have rooted my phone before and i didn't encounter any problems. But when rooting this tablet however i found myself spending hours trying to find the proper files online. I couldn't even find anything on the Lenovo website! Is there anything i can do? Do you think it will help to let it run out of battery and recharge it again? Have i bricked it for good?
