Music player playlists and speed

Hey everyone, just wondering... I synced some iTunes playlists through doubletwist with my captivate, but I noticed I can't actually view what's in my playlists with the default music player. Is there any way to do this with the default player? Also has anyone else noticed that the music player feels a bit laggy?
This is kind of a must for me, and I don't really want to blow 250 bucks on a new iPod.

Does anyone know how to get the htc music player to rescan your mp3's to add new songs to the Library?

I recommend sdrescan, can be found on the market.

Extended Controls has a media rescan option. Other useful stuff there too.

well, you try MIUI Rom's musip player... It's all of the best you ever seen; Suppport all format. You khow HTC Sense Roms doesn't support some music format: flac, high bit-rate mp3, etc...
Auto download music lyrics, album cover. The best!

i would suggest stock..it has srs!!it does depend on the headphones from which u r listening...i do not use htc`s innovation all the time though!but i really like poweramp!!

I agree with that. Winamp got enough options and is quite simple.
If You need more options use PowerAmp.

PowerAmp FTW. Definitely. It's just not free.
Well worth the asking price though. Try the trial period out OP and see if you agree.

Personally I'm satisfied with the stock ones from HTC and default CM7. They have great simple, intuitive features already built in.

If you are willing to pay €10 a month, i'd say spotify

Miui Player is only good on Miui Roms...you wont have lockscreen music controls or LastFM scrobbl in other Roms I'd suggest stock one

Hello there,
if you're familiar with setting a 10-band equalizer, I would suggest the pro version of winamp (not free but well worth its price, imo). Otherwise sense stock player is ok to me. The best is to try a few with your headphones and see which one you like most!

My opinion :
Stock sucks.. it finds mp3's that i dont want to play, and you dont have much settings
Music players that just rock:
For free : Mort Player
Not free : Power Amp (!!!!!)

because of this topic i went looking for another mp3 player
i'd like to add nrg player to my list of favorite players

i actually like the stock music player, but if you want a player that you can tailor to your own needs in terms of looks then go for player pro, although it is not free i love the skins you can put on it.

Google music modified to display lyrics?

Is there addon to get google music to display lyrics? I use musixmatch when I want to read music lyrics, but the player is ugly, has ads and won't recognize the songs uploaded to Google music using WiFi, tunewiki is pretty much the same situation.
IMO this should be already a stock option :banghead:

Music player extension with Apollo?

Hello guys
I'm trying to use the music player extension combined with apollo but the extension doesn't find Apollo is there a fix for this? I like using the default music extension cause it looks so nice and the others don't have album art, only buttons I could also use GPM but that player crashes when I reach the bottom of my music list!
