Motorola Devour Roms and Overclocking - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey XDA. I just wanted to know if anyone ever released ANY roms for the Devour, or was able to overclock it. I currently have mine rooted but none of the overclocking apps let me go above stock 600mhz. Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen any myself yet even though I use an HTC Hero200 but I'm trying to help out with any Devour ROM's.

What phone do you have, Im assuming its a hero. im running EZHero v5, my fave so far
Well bugless beast is pretty simple. But I haven't really encountered a ROM that was difficult. They kind of all act similar. The only difference is the features and performance.
For stability, speed, and "ease" I recommend bugless beast.
If you want some wow factor, you should look for something like cyanogen mod. It has the most themes written for it.

JB 4.1.1 rooted RMaxxHD - how to overclock?

I was wondering if there is a way to overclock the RMaxxHD now that it's updated to JB 4.1.1 and rooted. I wasn't interested in switching ROMs to CyanogenMod or anything else, just looking to do small mods (if possible) to increase the phone's performance and/or speed.
Anyone know if this is possible?
No way to over clock... We need a kernel that has support for it to be able to do that... I tried to use super charger with my phone... But never could get it running right... So I installed Pimp my rom app... It has a lot of tweaks built in... Try tinkering with that... It helped my device fluidity a lot

ROM's and kernel suggestions

Hey guys, so I got a brand new HTC M8 and Ive been reading all of the rooting guides and such and had a few questions. After doing a search I'm not really seeing many suggestions. So after I S-off, install custom recovery, do a backup of my stock rom, and then put a permanent root on my phone, what ROM do you guys recommend to be the best? Someone out there that has tried most of them? I love to tweak so thought Id get your guys opinions. Also, do most of you use keep the stock kernel or use a custom kernel, if so which kernel do you like? Thanks guys!!!!

I've tried Almost all. For my daily driver I use cleanrom 1.3 on stock kernel atm. I don't mess much with kernels but have just browsed thru a few threads and found some kernels that do not have "official" release. Look into them as they have gotten nice reviews. Sky fall is nice for stock as well. D.h. and his GPE ROM is pretty on point with that straight google experience. I have not tried sinless yet but that has good rants for being a GPE ROM. As far as aosp they are hit or miss for my device. Play with those for your own experience. I prefer the stock sense and great battery life so since I have been following @scrosler from my past few phones and know what to expect I am partial to his creations. Good luck. Don't forget to NANDROID And thank your devs .

[Q] HTC One m7 verizon lollipop overclocking

Hi all!
I am new to the world of root android. I have recently flashed android 5.0.1 lollipop on my verizon HTC one m7. I would like to overclock it, and I know that i need to flash a custom kernel to achieve this. I tried ElementalX, but once installed, Tasker does not open, and even though it performed well otherwise, the loss of tasker was not a sacrifice I am willing to make. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone may have, as to what kernels would be most effective!
Many Thanks
