Android music player track listings and numbers - General Questions and Answers

Android Music Player (stock) vs UberMusic and Google Music. I'm not a huge fan of the stock music player on my Samsung GT-i9000. Tried out UberMusic and Google Music but they both add track numbers to the front of 40% of my song titles. This makes it pretty difficult to find specific songs (because I don't know track numbers anymore, if I rip a CD it doesn't even rip in the order of the CD). Since my android player displays the song titles correctly; I am thinking there is something I can do to fix it in one of these better music players.
Anyone have this issue? Suggestions? Any better music players?

[Q] Music Player with visualizer?

Are there no music apps for Android that do visualizations? I've been looking forever and can't seem to find one.
I have my Galaxy Tab mounted in my car and right now I just use the VU Meter and Wave live wallpaper but then I need to swipe down to open the music player back up if I need to pause it.
I think due to the hardware, none were developed. Now that more phones are being released with Tegra chipsets, I think we will start seeing music players with visualizations.
My bet is keep an eye out on MixZing or PowerAmp.

[Q] Lyrics app compatible w/ Google Music?

Hello,
Title says it all. I'm looking for an app displaying lyrics whenever I listen to a song on Google Music streaming service. I know MIUI music player does it but I got an unrooted Nexus S, on stock, running ICS 4.0.4.
Thanks in advance!

Both TuneWiki and MusicMatch will display lyrics for streaming Google Music but its not 100% smooth. I believe the limitations are on Google's end.
I know the new HTC One has similar feature, wonder if it will work with streaming music.

The Quest for an Android Music player that does A2DP bluetooth and a lockscreen

Ok Folks before you flame me, please allow me to elaborate:
yes, i DID search (but couldn't find anything specific).
yes, I DID try several things on my own (see below for details)
yes, the things I'm looking for in specific seem to not exist in one package.
Ok, with that disclaimer, the setup
AT&T Galaxy note running Black Star V2 with Apex Launcher 1.2.2 / Android ICS 4.04. (Please note that these issues ALSO APPLY TO THE STOCK Gingerbread software that came with the phone).
Ok folks in short, I am looking for a music player that can do ALL 3 of the following (every single music player I tried, and I tried tens literally does 1 or 2 out of the following list, but not all):
1.) Pin-lock friendly lock screen music controls (my email is an Exchange acount which enforces a pin lock) [Poweramp does this well]
2.) Persistent player controls even when no music is playing (this is VERY helpful to start playing music after a while) [Cloudskipper is the only player I know of that does this!]
3.) Full bluetooth track / ID3 streaming to the stereo. I don't think this issue has to do with the bluetooth stack because the stock player and/or Google Play music both work. However, their UI (and/or lock screens suck big time)!
Software I have tried:
MixZing
CloudSkipper
Stock Android music player
Google play Music player
Apollo
doubletwist
Winamp
Poweramp
Rocket Music Player
Zimly
Songbird
PlayerPro
n7player
MusicXmatch
NRG Player
Astro Player
(and more that I can't remember off the top of my head).
Can someone please help?
PS: Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. I had no idea where to post it.
I'd settle for option 3 only. I don't like the stock player either, but it's the only one that sends the music info to my carkit.
I haven't tried as much as you, but I haven't found any yet that do this.
Im with you dude, It would be nice if I could see what songs are being played on my deck. But android doesnt seem to be able to send that data.
If the stock player fulfills all your needs, except for the lockscreen, why not try installing widgetlocker as your lockscreen and using a music widget of your choice?

[Q] Music player doubt

Hello!
I have all my music in iTunes, and I listen a lot of singles, so I put all of them in a compilation, but each song have each cover, I mean, the compilation that I created doesn't have an unique cover.
The problem comes when I try to have the same experience in my LG G3. The music player that I use, CyanogenMod Music App, catches a random cover and it applies it to all the singles in the compilation.
The question is: is there any music player that can do what I need?
Thanks in advance ^^
You may use music apps , for example, netease music.

Question Why won't my S22 Ultra play some songs?

I was previously the owner of a Samsung Galaxy 10, and had a library of over 2500 songs. This phone had no trouble playing any of them. Now my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra keeps popping up a message that it is unable to play that song, and plays the next one instead. I thought that because I was using a free music player app that this might be the cause, so I downloaded the Samsung Music Player. It still will not play some songs.
I'm also a bit annoyed that the Samsung Music player will only allow a playlist of 1000 songs maximum. So I now have three Playlists, and must cycle between them. Sure, I could remove 1500 songs, or go through the whole lot and divide them into genre, but I shouldn't have to.
Can anyone tell me why my phone won't play some music (yet my much older phone coped with it easily).
It's possible that those files got corrupted when you transfered them from your old phone. If that's the case, then you'll have to re-copy those files.
What is the file extension on the songs that won’t play? WMA, Windows Media Audio files are not supported by many player apps. I use the Poweramp app on my phone which plays everything I have in my media library.
+1 for PowerAmp.
+2 Poweramp paid version
