first restore to default your apn settings
and restart your phone.
always maintain two rupees balence.
if those two steps will not work call to customer care and ask for new settings.

I believe that you would still have to activate that with carrier and if it's blocked they can tell you

it just registered on network then it cut off again, could it be the antenna? anyone know the location of the antenna on the nexus s?
when connected to network calls and texts dont work but 3g internet does. help appriciated
This sounds like a job for Odin. Get the newest factory image from here and be sure you flash everything....rom, kernel and radio, especially! This is the best way to see if it's a firmware or hardware issue. If it still happens after a factory flash you'll know it's hardware related.

[Q] Nexus S suddenly lost connection to mobile network (can't call, text, use 3G)

My phone suddenly stopped being able to send/receive texts or calls and can't connect to the 3G network -- doesn't seem to be a SIM card issue because when I popped the SIM into an old flip phone, I could call/text. At first the phone looked as if it had full signal and was connected to 3G, but it wouldn't connect when dialing out and couldn't load any websites. I've since reset it (first a factory reset -- still had the same problem, so I did a hard reset) and now I don't even see any signal on the phone. It would work for a few minutes if I turn it off and turn it back on, but then it would suddenly stop working after a few minutes. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!

How do I go about doing that? (and my wifi is working fine -- does that mean the radio is okay...?) Thanks!

network loss in nexus 4
hi , have u resolved your issue because I'm facing the same problem !
check that your phone is showing that you have a baseband and imei number
Yeah, either flash a new radio, or your IMEI number got screwed up somehow and it isn't registering on the network. Let me know if you need links to the Radio forum.
I've got the same problem now, unknown baseband & imei. anyone know how to fix this ?

Airplane mode?

Airplane mode bt the others no....the phone rekognize the card bt do not have signal at all and the wifi&bluetooth they turn on by they don't find any device :/
Try to get latest factory image from google and flash it. The problem may be in radio. Its much worse if the IMEI partition got corrupted somehow or it got wiped, what i know the only way to recover it is to use EFS backup.
I already updated it b nothing I opened it and the motherboard was damaged I think :/ ...I will take it to service tomorrow!!
