You thought the Samsung InFuSe has a Huge screen? Meet the Samsung Galaxy Q which will be sportin a 5.3" screen with the same thickness as the Galaxy S II and InFuSe Apparently rumor has it that it will be 3G and LTE which sounds like a *new* AT&T LTE device!
Samsung Galaxy Q Next in Samsung’s Queue
Samsung’s Galaxy series won’t be stopping at “S” and “T” (as in Tab–7.0, 8.9 and 10.1). It reportedly has an “R”–and according to latest reports, a “Q”.
Samsung is reportedly prepping the Samsung Galaxy Q, an upcoming Android smartphone/tablet that could potentially outshadow the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Infuse 4G in terms of screen size. News Tomato, a Chinese news site, reports that Samsung is set to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Q at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), an international consumer electronics fair to be held in Berlin this coming September.

Samsung Infuse 4G
According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy Q’s screen size will be an inch bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S II and might take the Samsung Infuse 4G’s place as the largest-screened Samsung smartphone once the Galaxy Q reaches the U.S. The Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3-inch screen, while the Samsung Infuse 4G has a 4.5-inch screen. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy R has a 4.2-inch screen. And, the Samsung Galaxy Q trumps all of them in screen estate–at 5.3 inches. It’s even bigger than its closest rival, the Dell Streak 5 (Mini 5) tablet, which only has 5 inches.
The Samsung Galaxy Q is also rumored to support 3G and 4G LTE technology. Its 5.3-inch screen will be blessed with Super AMOLED Plus. And, its processor will allegedly be a very fast dual-core, 1.5-GHz beast. No word has been leaked about its battery, but we know for certain that–granting accuracy of the info we gathered–it’s going to be a power-gobbling monster.
Judging by its screen size, the Samsung Galaxy Q seems to have identity issues–”Is it a smartphone or is it a tablet?” No information has been leaked regarding the Samsung Galaxy Q’s phone capabilities, but if it ever does have them, we presume the Galaxy Q to be a good size for those who want a hybrid device that brings the power and convenience of both tablet and smartphone into a middle ground.
It appears that Samsung is trying to cover all the inches, and fractions thereof. We think that’s cool, because the variety means many choices for different pocket sizes. (Yes, you can take that last sentence figuratively, too.)
Is 5.3 inches just the right size for your pocket? What price for it might be a comfortable one for your wallet?

not good enought!
i want a phone with 7" inches! haha
The resolution would have to be higher than the infuse to be worth buying.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
im not into tablets and the infuse is as large a phone as i would ever think about getting. if they did away with the soft keys and most of the black area around the speaker and stuff i might go as big as 5" screen assuming the phone was no thicker than a captivate and the aspect ratio was a bit longer and thinner like the droidx (480x852 instead of 480x800) but the resolution would have to be qhd.
I am coming from a Dell streak to Infuse, and i though .5 inches wont be that significant. but boy was i wrong it looks smaller then what i got used to on my Streak. Now i hear this is going to be 5.3, i wonder what it will look like against my dell streak. i can't wait hope it is a phone i will replace in an instant.
They would need to increase the resolution dramatically or else pixelization out the ass.
infuse 4g "a lot a screen real estate"
This thing better have at least a 2100mAh battery for me to consider getting it.
A 5.3 inch screen is going to drain alot of power on that bad boy.

QuadCore it is...
That next Galaxy phone would likely be the Galaxy S3.
Other Exynos 4 Quad highlights that presage Galaxy S3 features:
•Full-speed video: uses HD 30 frame per second video hardware codec engine for 1080p video recording and play-back; also, includes an embedded image signal processor interface for a high-quality camera and an HDMI 1.4 interface.
•Speed jump: Owing to its 32-nanometer tech, the Exynos 4 Quad has "two times the processing capability over the 45-[nanometer] process based Exynos 4 Dual while consuming 20-percent less power," Samsung said.
•Ready to plug into new phones: Exynos 4 Quad is "pin-to-pin compatible" with the Exynos 4 Dual, allowing smartphone and tablet suppliers to adopt the new solution without additional engineering or design efforts.
•Based on ARM Cortex A9 design: Based on the current Cortex A9 tech from ARM. The latest and greatest ARM tech is called Cortex A15 but those chips won't emerge as commercial products for a while yet.

LOL! It does look like a clunky piece of junk, prototype or not. Samsung would be making a bad design move if they took a leap backwards...the phone should be thinner or more sleek, not thicker and like box.
I don't think this is legit (hopefully).
of course it looks bad
just judge it on the inside.
a lot of times they put hardware of test models and dev kits in older phone outerware (frankensteins) or test molds. its perfectly normal for them to test them this way and make incremental changes in hardware and software. for most companies (not apple) form factor is one of the last things that are done, shape, mold, metal etc are done last once they have the final inner hardware dimensions.
thats not to say they dont have very specific designs and mockups already with final product dimensions (they do this early, think case leaks), they just have to worry about phone assembly and part availability.
although i bet this was an early one because if theyre using ceramics in their final design, im sure they did their homework with its effects on thermals and signal.
Samsung has been using generic enclosures for the testing of phones lately.
Some folks think this is actually the Galaxy "M" and others think it could be the "GS-III".
The specs are underwhelming if this is true. Same screen as the Galaxy Nexus. Same camera. Same GPU. Much better CPU but not a quad 1.8 or 2.0 either. I think the international Galaxy Note is still looking like the next logical step for me.
Yeah I'm positive its a prototype. On a side note, Samsung never disappoints.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA
I am pretty sure that's not SIII. And Samsung hasn't disappointed me yet so lets see how it will be 2 more weeks!
Yeah, that's probably just a testing case... wanting to make sure the insides work correctly before fine tuning them to work in a more appealing and thin enclosure.
Interesting. I know Bell already has the S3. I know someone pretty "high up" there and has used one already. obviously its in testing mode but from what he told me, as soon as it comes out he will definately be getting one. And I garantee it will be quad core (he won't tell me anything else.. the fact that he told me they have them was already saying too much)

OMG are you serious...
I just switched from Bell to Rogers just for the SR and then Bell gets the S3
Hopefully this will be a GNote scenario where all the major carriers get the phone.
But anyways thats exciting to hear about. Im actually starting to believe these May 22nd rumors...
anyhow rogers gets the s3, my skyrocket is gonna magically "break.". I'll warranty it for an account credit and get the s3 through Rogers Rententions
I really hope they can retain the exynos chipset for all markets. The fragmentation due to using 3 different chipsets in the GSII for 4g receptivity was a real headache for development and users alike. IMO, all new gsm phones should be penta-band. nexus phones are setting a good example.
Saw that video on Engadget the other day. I'll just post the updated part from it:
Did the Samsung Galaxy S III just appear in Vietnam? (video) (updated with statement)
Update: It looks our source link has disappeared and the video has now gone private. Fortunately, we grabbed our own copy of the video and you can find it below.
Update 2: We reached out to Samsung for a comment, and here's the not-so-surprising response:
"We will be able to tell you more at the 2012 Samsung Mobile Unpacked."

Also, this:
Amazon Germany weighs in on Samsung Galaxy S III with 4.7-inch screen and 12 megapixel camera
May 3rd is no doubt going to be a monumental day for Samsung, but April 20th is certainly turning out to be quite memorable for potential specs of the Galaxy S III. Not only did we happen to come across a purported leak of the device itself, which suggested the handset would pack a 4.6-inch display and an 8 megapixel camera, but now a placeholder has popped up on Amazon's German site with a few contrasting specifications -- most notably, a 4.7-inch screen and a 12 megapixel camera. We're still a bit skeptical, because this is far from official, but the fact that the smartphone is shipped and sold by Amazon itself adds a wee bit of credence to the product listing. Only time will tell which set of specs -- if any -- are the correct ones, but the build-up to the Galaxy S III just got a whole lot more interesting.

Looking at the blanketed device in the image above, it’s clearly obvious that all attempts to shroud the device in secrecy has ultimately succeeded. The phone really looks nothing like the “leaks” we’ve already seen, and it appears that the reports are true that Samsung has concealed the test devices in a dummy case. Under that blue blanket of mystery you can tell that the device will have a curved screen and corners much like the Galaxy Nexus but that is about all that can be deciphered. It really looks like Samsung may actually successfully keep this thing under “wraps” until the 3rd of next month.

Tick..Tock...Tick...Tock...
Samsung is hoping to generate some consumer buzz for its Galaxy S 3, the next version of its Android-based line of smartphones, with a countdown clock.
The company's mobile division kicked off the effort this morning by tweeting the cryptic message, "Destination: tgeltaayehxnx" -- apparently an anagram for "The next Galaxy."
The Verge discovered that tgeltaayehxnx is also a Web site that features a countdown clock and the message that "You can take the next step in..." (about 16 hours as of this writing -- Monday morning).
Samsung has revealed very little about the new smartphone, other than its May 3 launch. However, a source has told CNET sister site Crave UK that the new device will be a relatively minor upgrade over the Galaxy S2. No specs were revealed, but he said it should be similar to the HTC One X,which has a 1.5GHz quad-core chip with 1GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch screen.
Really not liking this larger screen deal. I believe 4-4.2 inch screen was the sweet spot...

Samsung to Announce Galaxy S III
The Samsung Galaxy S III comes to Europe later this month, though you almost certainly won't see it in the U.S. until December. And India won't be getting this phone. Its on their official Twitter.
Samsung to launch ‘Next Galaxy S’, India can only watch. Anyways, Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy S III today. Samsung will take the wraps off its latest Samsung Galaxy S smartphone today in jolly ol' England.
The new Samsung Galaxy S III is set for launch in London at 11 a.m. PT/ 2 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. UK time.
The Galaxy S III is expected to be one of the hottest Google Android Smartphones of the year. It's the third generation of device in a popular series that started with the Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy S II. And even though little is known about the details of the Samsung Galaxy S III ahead of the launch, it's expected to be a hot seller too.
That said, the rumor mill has been churning, and some blogs report that the new smartphone could have a quad-core processor and a large screen in the 4.7-inch to 4.8-inch range. Fans are also hoping the display will be Super AMOLED or even Super AMOLED Plus.

It's unclear whether Samsung will announce U.S. carriers today for the new phone at the event. If not, it's likely the company will talk about its U.S. debut next week at the CTIA trade show in New Orleans.
In among those things is a new sensor that tracks your eyes – so long as you’re looking at the S3’s screen, it won’t dim or lock itself. Yes, you could just set the screen timer to longer, but “Smart Stay” means you don’t have to. In use, the feature seemed to work very well, with a little icon indicating the phone is watching your eyes.
On a similar note, if you’re looking at a contact, or a message from a contact, the S3 automatically dials that person when you put the phone to your face. It’s one less button to press.
An improvement to voice control, called S-Voice, that lets users control their phone using normal, natural language. So it’s like Siri, only it does more – you can say volume up, for instance, and the phone will filter out the noise of the song it’s playing so it can hear you. The S, we assume, stands for Samsung.
Elsewhere, the phone adds useful features that, for instance, can automatically share a photograph you take with people whose faces are recognised, called ‘Buddy Photo Share, or display social media profiles directly on a photograph when those face are recognised. These are features that are useful rather than revolutionary, but they feel like they will be obvious standards in the near future. Tagging groups and offering an automatic slideshow zooming into the faces in a picture are also useful additions. Samsung, unless the patent wars cause further upset, is setting new standards.
When it comes to features such as S-Beam, which transfers files quickly between devices by touching them together, or sharing the phone’s screen content with other devices, these are increasingly becoming more widespread industry standards, as indicated on the new Motorola Razr, which offers similar concepts. The Samsung processor is fast enough to allow crystal clear video to play in a window on your homescreens, which again is nifty, but not vital.
Are there areas where the phone disappoints? The camera is just 8MP it has been upgraded to offer a 20-shot burst mode and the automatic selection of a best picture. The firm insists on pre-loading apps which I don’t see much use for – while Dropbox (including a remarkable 50GB of storage for two years) and Flipboard are useful, the Music, Game and Video Hubs will have to offer remarkable content to outplay the entirety of the app store, Google Play.
Overall, the device is in many ways much like its predecessor: does it feel as solid or heavy in the hand as the iPhone? No, although it’s certainly a lot bigger. Is it a different, superb product in its own right? Absolutely. On spending just a short time with the S3, I’m confident in saying that it’s a worthy successor to the globally popular S2. But I also want to see how much all those new features make a real difference in everyday use to form a fuller opinion. Sources : Telegraph, Cnet

I know there is post like that but at the other post people are just saying "Galaxy Nexus" or "HTC One is the best".
I want to start it again. I need serious arguments for the both sides, please
Which is better in your opinion? If you have some suggestions? Also what is the quality of both phones?
Thanks for reading and discussing!
I'm sitting here wondering the same thing. I've got the One S, but I have an unopened Galaxy Nexus sitting next to me. I could return the Nexus, or sell the One S. Not sure what to do.
From what I've gathered, it looks like this.
One S:
Better camera (rear, not front)
Smaller screen w/ lower res (qHD vs 720)
Smaller battery (non-removable)
Faster processor and GPU (from what I've read)
HTC Sense (Big plus in my book)
No SD slot
Nexus:
Bigger removable battery
Larger, higher res screen
No SD slot
Pure ICS and faster updates (may or may not be a good thing)
More storage available
Cheaper off contract
I'm sure I'm missing stuff, but that's my break down.
I heard that Galaxy Nexus has a lot of bad quality phones especially when we talk to screen..
Also Galaxy Nexus isn't near fast as HTC One S but everywhere where I found discussion for these two phones they say "Galaxy Nexus is better"
Why?? As far as I can see through internet reviews and my personal opinion about the specs I see way better HTC One S.
Maybe the only big advantage is that Galaxy Nexus has Android Stock UI, not so big problem and the 720p screen but it gets bigger 4.65 instead 4.3.
I have small hands or maybe medium and I don't want to have that big phone.
After 2 weeks I will travel to USA and they are near the same price (Galaxy Nexus 430$ NEW, T-mobile HTC One S 430$ Used Near mint and 470$ NIB)
So my point is that I will be only for 3 months this year in USA and it won't be pleasant to get low quality phone. As I read there are some major issues for One S like dropping calls..
here we go.
I don't care about this things at all:
No SD slot
Smaller screen
Smaller battery
Cheaper off contract
...bla bla bla
My point is everything about HARDWARE !
HTC ONE S- Dual-core "KRAIT" Cortex-A15. (GPU- Adreno 225)
Even latest flagship Quadcore Samsung Galaxy III got it Cortex A9 !
HTC One S has it beautiful hardware, and rich future.
Galaxy Nexus- Got it BEST android community !
But hardware is OMAP 4460 which is Dual-core, Cortex-A9. (GPU-PowerVR SGX540-old crap)
Due to such a smart dev's (like a Morfic and others) Galaxy Nexus provide beautiful optimization and fast speed
But OMAP4460 and PowerVR SGX540 will not pull up for a long time.
Conclusion:
With GALAXY NEXUS I felt no hardware power., I felt a strong optimization !!! Remember, ICS was born and optimized for the Nexus (Omap).
With HTC One S I felt hardware power, thank you for sick Krait A-15 !
Which is provide so strong CPU attack ! Linpack bench is 222 !!! And you are required to respect that !!! Because no ONE can't do this.

But:
Both phone got ****ty GPU !
You will ask me: "-Now what?!"
Both phones can't play 1080p video, example in youtube desktop mod, and it is a shame !
At that time Exynos with Mali-400MP (Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S III) shows a middle finger with a smile.
So the choice is yours.
........My choice is Galaxy S III. ;-)
Best Regards
If the One S had these which the Nexus does, it would be just amazing
-NFC
(Android Beam)
(Swipe to Pay)
-HD Display (1280x720)
& a micro SD card or at least 32GB storage, with removable battery
But then again I'm pretty much describing the one X. Sadly its not on T-Mobile
Sent from my HTC One S
Finally some good arguments!
Actually I don't care neither for the smaller screen/resolution and that it doesn't have removable battery & no sd slot.
Previously I had iPhone and I am pretty used to it (to be missing) and I think isn't that big problem..
So Galaxy Nexus is only customization with less power
and One S is power with less customization. In fact I didn't know that One S can't playback 1080p from YouTube,
also HTC Sense is way more comfortable and more customizable in the eyes of TouchWiz.
My previous choice before One S was SGS2 i777. It has NFC, good camera, SD slot, removable battery but if I buy it I need to go CM9 maybe. TouchWiz is awful..
SGS3 is really good but I don't want to waste that money for a telephone. Also it is huge .
What about the HSPA speeds.. Nexus is only 21 .. while one S is 42 .. how much does that matter for a Tmobile customer?
A big factor in favor of the One S is the body, how it looks and feels to hold.
(Yes, the MSM8960 SoC is a nice bonus too.)
The One S will. Benefit with the faster radio/modem.
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
network performance kind of depending on your signal strength. I personally think you won't notice much difference between 21 and 42. I did a quick test with my One S and I am getting about 21 speed despite it can do 42. It is probably due to slightly weaker signal on where I am. Unless you are doing lots lots of heavy duty data, it wont' matter much.
Besides the obvious spec difference, the software developement is where it matters. The Nexus's stock android is great and also mean that it has the most up to data software ie Jelly Bean and the big community means a big optimization. One S is a not that widely supported due to the fact many developers want the best hardware so they go with the One X as oppose to One S, so our device may not get all of the development. If you do not tinker your phone that much, either one won't make a huge difference.
In addition, I can see that google potentially will still offer one more software update after jelly bean with the Nexus but I am not 100% certain that HTC will offer update to the One S after jelly bean.
That is just my thoughts.
My HOS can play youtube in 1080p on desktop mode on cm9 & cm10(with the flash apk)
i have the one s now and had the nexus -
Speed differences are pretty big for me - +5 MB down on dl speeds and 3-5 up (nexus was 8-9 down 1-2 up).
I have the 5g + hotspot plan so that is a nice boost.
Screenwise, I don't miss the higher res I would be hard pressed to tell that much of a difference.
Tech wise the one s wins in terms of newer faster cpu - graphics wise? meh I don't play many games on my phone so I don't really care. I have a nexus 7 to be a tablet.
build wise - the nexus is slick but the one s is beautiful. The aluminum body the thin phone - it just looks sexy - not overly designed (how i felt about the s2 when I got it).
I don't store a lot on the phone so the memory avail for me is fine - don't really care about no microsd slot
the downside? it is tmo branded and they are notorius for slow updates where a nexus is going to get updates/new oses a lot faster but as others have pointed out - the tech is old...
that and I got the HOS for 49 bucks new contract - no brainer for me.

I own both as well and agree with everything in this post. I would just say that I think the biggest differences are screen size and aosp support.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
First I will explain my story: I went from owning the SGS 1, then SGS 2 and then I bought a Droid DNA for something different, but someone stole it. Luckily a friend sold me an SGS 3 for very cheap. By the time I played around with the SGS 3, I realised why I was getting bored of Samsung to begin with. It's because of the screen. Yes it looks sharp and clear but the amoled screen was so fake and forced with saturation which my Droid DNA wasn't suffering from. Not to mention the SGS 3 seemed exactly the same as my SGS 2 only a different shape and size. It was quite frankly boring!
After my insurance company replaced my Droid DNA I could no longer use the SGS 3 because of these facts. I continued to use the Droid DNA for the following months and I can not fault it besides the screen being too small for me now, I have simply outgrown it. I have since sold all of my phones including the DNA to purchase a new phone. I automatically wanted the Note 3 because of the size and hardware and well known projected development but my main questions are:
Is the screen on the Galaxy Note 3 improved with life like colours in comparison to the SGS 3?
Is the camera going to be good enough without OIS?
If you want to know my other choices and reasons why I am considering them please look below. (Was going to include Sony Xperia Z Ultra but the camera has no flash and is only 8mp and the size form factor is too much for me)
My first choice (hoping the screen doesn't put me off)

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Pros:
Biggest screen in a small chassis in comparison to any other phablet
Stylus might come in handy but I have never used one before
Has the best internals out of the competition Snapdragon 800/Adreno 330
Development support is massive for Samsung!
Massive battery
4K recording on specific model I am interested in
More RAM
Cons:
Amoled screens have always seemed boring to look at to me and everything seems fake, almost like a cartoon. I need to use the GN3 in person before I can be sure. They might have made it better than the SGS 3? - This is the main reason I am concerned about - My Droid DNA felt so lifelike and easy to look at)
Camera has no OIS (and apparently the auto focus is slow according to some reviews)
My second choice
Acer Liquid S2
Pros:
Screen appeals to me more as it is not amoled like the Note 3
6" display
Same internals as Note 3
Same battery capacity as Note 3
Highest contrast amongst my choices?
Better Front Camera than the other choices
LED Ring Flash (4 leds)
Cons:
Bigger than Note 3 and not sure if it is worth it for the size increase of the screen (TOUGH DECISION)
Has a slower clock speed at 2.2 instead of 2.3 in other Snapdragon 800 phones
If it is not a lot cheaper than it will make me lean towards the Note 3
Reflective screen might cancel out contrast levels outdoors
Not sure what development will be like?
My third choice (more information on release might push me to buy this phone)
Oppo N1
Pros:
Rotating 6 lens camera with F/2.0 Aperture
First Cyanogen Mod Integrated Phone
Duel LED Flash
Biggest battery of all of my choices
Back of the phone has a touch panel which I bet will become very customisable
Aluminium
Some images make it look like the phone is waterproof?
Cons:
Phone might be tooooo big
last generation internals Snapdragon 600/Adreno 320
My third choice tied (more information on release might push me to buy this phone)
HTC One Max ( Some specs might still be unconfirmed)
Pros:
Screen might appeal to me more as it is not amoled like the Note 3
Larger screen
Camera has OIS and might be great. (The HTC One camera didn't impress me too much however)
External surround speakers
Development has really started picking back up with HTC
Cons:
Physical size must be big considering the speaker layout and camera
last generation internals Snapdragon 600/Adreno 320
Another tied third choice (Price is so cheap it might make do)
LG Optimus G Pro (Was also looking at Note 2 but this trumps it in every way besides stylus/software which I am still unsure if I will use often enough and of course I prefer a non amoled screen)
Pros:
This phone is literally half the price as the note 3 costing me $450 vs $850 for the Note 3 (This phone might keep me going until a newer phone entices me and for half the price it is tempting)
Dolby mobile sound enhancement
Great sized screen
Big battery
Camera is better than average
The development is not tooooo bad
Cons:
last generation internals Snapdragon 600/Adreno 320
My fourth choice (most disappointing because screen is probably not going to be big enough!! but I love all of the other features. If this phone was 5.5" I would be getting it over anything else! I am so annoyed it has on screen keys and a smaller screen! - It's why I sold my Nexus 4 so quickly)
LG G2
Pros:
Screen appeals to me more as it is not amoled like the Note 3
Large battery for a small phone (not as good as the note 3 but the life should be close to the same as it has a smaller screen to power)
The phone is cheaper to buy outright by $200 dollars in my country in comparison to the note 3
Camera is outstanding - 4K record might be possible with firmware update - f/2.4 aperture and OIS has proven to take better images and video with the right settings in comparison to my other phone choices
Internals are the same as Note 3
Cons:
Screen is only a little step up in quality and size from my Droid DNA (especially if I choose to keep on screen keys active)
LG usually have little development support compared to Samsung
The button placement at the back makes the phone look weird and maybe awkward. I thought it was a camera lens cover when I first saw it
At the end of the day if the Note 3 didn't have an amoled screen and did have OIS I wouldn't be looking at other phones at all. Even if it just had a different screen it would probably lock me in to buying it. That goes the same for the LG G2 if it had a larger screen! To make a definitive decision, I need to use all of these phones in person but because I live in Australia, most of these phones aren't available to me. Makes it very hard to make a decision! I need to look at the Galaxy Note 3 screen and see if I can deal with the amoled, if I can I will buy it. It is released in Australia in 3 days for me to check out.
If I don't like the Note 3 screen, I will need to handle the Oppo, Acer and HTC One Max to see if I am comfortable with the size of them. If I am then I will buy whichever one I like better, the problem is these phone will probably not come to Australia anytime soon, if at all for me to test them so I can only go by user opinion!
If I am not completely happy with the Acer/HTC/Oppo size I will end up buying the LG Optimus G Pro for so much cheaper than the others and I will then look to replace it when I am happy with another phone even if the phone is lower spec, it has decent development and an upgraded screen size and quality over my DNA.
I also need to see the LG G2 in person to judge the screen size for myself, again the phone is not available in my country until November! and I will want to make a decision by then

Not enough to tell any features.
if there isn't a 5.5+in screen thats not curved I'll wait for the note 6 to see if that's worth it.
Looks exactly like the S6.
Going to be a huge waste of money, in fact I regret spending $700 on my S6, since there is absolutely 0 dev support and the updates include 0 improvement.
My loyalty to Samsung will most probably end here with the S6, my next device is the next Nexus that will come out.
Samsung has still not released 6.0.1 for the international S6 yet.
A ton of HTC and Motorola devices have received the 6.0 update and us Samsung users are here with this 5.1.1 TouchWiz bullsh*t.
No Source from Samsung = No Love from Devs

I think the lack of dev attention to the s6 was because they used the exynos processor and we know how bad Samsung is at releasing source so those phones had little support from the devs. I imagine since in the US at least they are going back to the snapdragon processor support will be good once again.

Again, only to certain markets. So, US and a few other countries will get the SD820.
Pakistan usually gets the Exynos garbage while the rest of the world enjoys Snapdragon hardware.
Samsung creates an epic piece of hardware like the Exynos 7420 and restricts anyone from actually using it to it's full potential.
Like I said, last Samsung device hopefully. Not wasting any more money.
Tacky glass body and gimmicky camera won't fool me this time.
Nexus device it is.

Yeah, I feel you. Especially with other countries since they would rather go with exynos. Power to you. We need devices we can all be happy with and we know nexus devices always have good development.
From the limited information I've seen, the exynos s7 is scoring higher on performance than the sd820, don't have a link for you, it's out there.
But I agree about the lack of dev for exynos, I had a moto x 2, so I know how painful it is not to have lots of good ROMs.
I would consider 6p, but the screen is so big, I like 5.1
S7 with sd820 might be great for dev scene.
less dev support again.. samsung is really making this hard for developers
I am also looking forward for Samsung Galaxy S7, but it looks exactly same as S6 which I don't like. They could have changed it a little bit. Although specifications of this smartphones are really great.

It seems designed fantastic
I stopped buying S series after S4 because the upgrades are incremental. I just bought two brand new S4 last month because they are now cheap and are better than the new mid range phones today.
any bug?

Got a chance to hold the S7 black this weekend. Very good solid feel. The curve on the back is like the Note 5 making it easier to hold. The home button has a better look and feel. Less of the chrome around the home button. You can easily see the 2.5D glass on the display. SD card slot for sure in the SIM slot (200GB support). IP68 water resistant, micro USB charging, 12MP 1.7f camera. Has the iPhone esq live motion picture taking, also front facing flash by making the display very bright white. Didn't see about the pressure sensitive screen. Don't think that's there. Anyway that's the S7. Would I buy it? For sure. Looked great.

@saywhat4118 thanks for sharing your opinion! Could you tell how does it feel in hand, in terms of size? How easy it's to operate with one hand in compare to your A9? Additionaly, are there visible black bars on top and bottom when screen is off?
I was hoping for USB 3.0 or 3.1 via USB-C, but microUSB is better if it's 2.0. Would have been a nice bonus. Otherwise the S7 is shaping up to finally be a unit worthy of replacing my S4. S5 was too little of improvement; water resistance was nice, but increase in physical size for .1" bigger screen was pitiful. S6 losing both SD & removable battery was just too compromised. I'll never be happy about a sealed battery in any device. The G5 looks like it'll be the only flagship with removable battery, but for me it's too large & I can't stand the button arrangement. I will, however, not buy the S7 until I see how the curved glass back stands up to impacts. I can't stand using a case & the S4 polycarbonate body has proven very tough over almost 3 years.

Didn't see any black bars you speak of. I did see the always on display. It tells time and notifications count on an all black screen.
In terms of in hand feel, I thought it felt great. Definitely one hand operable.

Thanks for reply! I'm glad it's one hand operable, because it's so important for me. I was using "always on display" on OG Moto X and I have great memories about it, so it is so good we will see that feature in Samsung flagship.
