I wasn't sure where to put this as it's not hardware specific and for the section options for general android this is the place where it makes the most sense to put it. If I am incorrect in this then mods, feel free to move this to the correct section and also maybe add a general android Q/A section like the windows phone section has.
Anyways I'm looking for a game similar in ways to Wordfeud or Words with friends. They don't have to be word games at all, I'm just looking for online multiplayer games with that turn based "play at your own pace" gameplay. I don't even know where to begin looking as I don't know if there is a term for those type of games so if anyone has any suggestions or where I could start looking that would be great

Hello all,
I've been looking to see if there are any good books about Android game development, but so far the best I've come up with is the apress book "Pro Android Gams". It's kind of old by now though, and I'm curious if it's at all relevant any longer or if I should skip it. Are there any others that you've found useful?
So everyone, I just realized an old game I used to play on the computer with my brothers- Generally. The game is simple and addictive and would be awesome to get it ported or have it made for Android phones. It doesnt requite much cpu or RAM
If there are any developers that possibly could help me, and if Im able to get in contact with the creators of the game and all start a project would be fantastic. Im not exactly sure what all would have to go into it, or the work required. But gotta start somewhere.

I'm looking at making an app for a game I'm interested in as I want some practice for my college course.
I wondering, is it acceptable to make a wiki style app for a well known game and to use the name of the game in the title? Maybe it's a silly question but it's something I've never thought of.

How to narrow down search results in Game Guardian? I am getting 100+ results in every games even if the value is so uncommon, say for an example 19220. I tried fuzzy search also but it is either not showing any results or end up showing many.
Also help me to know how to change text in games. If i have like 'Lion Mexi' in a non-licensed football game, how to change that to real world name? Game Guardian is for editing numbers only right?

Hello everyone,
we are absurdo games and i just wanted to show you what we've been working on for the past few months. The game is called "Raider of the Golden Train", and it very humouristically follows the story of german nazi train filled with valuables and allegedly hidden somewhere in Poland's lower Silesia.
We like to call it polish bureaucracy and capitalism simulator.
In it's current state it's still a WIP as in the following weeks we're planning on adding interactive map of site that will keep changing along with the progress as well as some specialy composed sounds and melodies.
Also it's worth noting that all the graphics we use are actually hand drawn by one of Poland's most known independent comicbook artists *Fil.
I really hope you enjoy it. please let me know if you like it and if you have any suggestions for improvement
