If you have "un-walshed" your phone and still get the error the problem most likely is that you have installed the WP support tool on build 7390 or higher.
You will need to download these files from here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1148123 , if you scroll down you will see a list of files copy and paste the link but don't forget to change the "DOT COM" to .com, there's five files all together.DOWNLOAD ALL EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST ONE! Then download this file http://www.mediafire.com/?r3o8r3hmvd79nd5 which is the Provision file.
The way I got around it was to-
1. Re-flash ROM (I was on AT&T and flashed to Rogers) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131022
2. Uninstall Zune 4.7 and WP Support Tool.
3. Reinstall Zune 4.7.
4. Connect Phone and open up Zune and install updates which will be the February first then repeat process and install the March update. Disconnect phone when finished.
5. Uninstall Zune.
6. Uninstall WP developer tools 7.1 if you have it installed.
7. Install WP developer tools 7.1 beta 2 -which is the file called vm_web2 from those files you downloaded.
8. Install MangoB2-ZuneClient (zune4.8).
9. Open up folder MangoB2-UpdateWP and run "setup-Update" according to whatever your running your computer on( x64 or x86), close that folder once finished.
10. Plug your phone in and let the drivers install, once that's all finished close Zune.
11. Open up folder "Provisions" and run "Provision", click on the I agree button and let it do its magic. When it says "Succeeded" the update is complete.Close the window.
12. You should now have a backup in the following location: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Phone Update\{Device GUID}\
13. Copy this folder to a secure storage location. If you lose this backup, you will not be able to restore your Windows Phone to the retail version afterwards.
14. Open up Zune and go into settings then "update", install ISVBeta(7401), click finish when done then repeat the update process and install ISV Beta (7661), wait for finish and it should be complete!
Good luck
This was on a AT&T Focus.

Make a new folder on desktop called 'Downgrade'
2. Download this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...5&d=1339391278
3. Make a new folder in 'Downgrade' called 'Downgrade Kit'
4. Extract the download into 'Downgrade Kit'
5. Now you should have a folder called 'Downgrade' on your desktop, inside that should be another folder called 'Downgrade Kit', inside that there should be a folder called 'files' and a program called 'runme.cmd'.
6. Make a new folder inside 'Downgrade' called 'RUU'
7. Download this and save it to folder 'RUU': http://www.filefactory.com/file/c0af...308_signed.exe
8. Connect phone to computer, and choose ‘Charge Only’ not ‘Disk Drive’. Enable USB Debugging, and disable Fastboot (If you don’t know how to, ask Dr. Google)
9. Open runme.cmd, it will ask questions! Answer according to your phone not mine! The questions are (If I can remember) i) Do you have root? I answered n. ii) Have you unlocked through htcdev.com? I answered no. iii) Do you want to create a goldcard? I answered y
10. After it successfully completes (if it doesn’t post below) run the RUU in the RUU folder (Remember it erases all data so if you need to, backup everything) , it will take around 10 mins. BE PATIENT!
11. After it installs check if your HBOOT has been downgraded! It should be 1.13.0000
stuck on somewhere between step 9 and step 10 - i have the htc in android system recovery, where it has the options of reboot system now, apply update from sdcard, wipe data/facotry reset, wipe cache partition.
what do i do there?

sorry, total noob with rooting htc...
If you're one of those who has never touched a windows phone before, this guide is for you.
Prerequisites: Windows Device Recovery Tool and internet access on your phone.
Warning
If you've updated to Win10 using insider and you're not getting any updates for fall creators update, follow the guide from start to finish. Don't skip to step 3 just because your phone is already on Win10. Having a carrier branded ROM can cause issues.
STEP 1: Flash unbranded ROM
Since AT&T never provided a version above 8.10.12393.890 and the insider program has been shut down, you must flash an unbranded ROM before you can upgrade to Windows 10. PHONE/SIM WILL NOT WORK, so if you care about receiving phone calls then don't bother.
1. Download an unbranded ROM here, "RM-915 VAR BR CV": https://www.lumiafirmware.com/model/RM-915/hwid/059S2X9
1b. Click 3058.50000.1424.0002
1c. Just download the ffu. You don't need anything else.
2. Open an admin command prompt, cd "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Care Suite\Windows Device Recovery Tool"
You might want to rename your ffu file to firmware.ffu to make it easier to type since you can't drag files into an admin command prompt.
3. type thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "C:\SomeLocationHere\yourfile.ffu" -do_full_nvi_update -do_factory_reset -reboot
Where C:\SomeLocationHere is the location to the file, of course
3b. If your phone is stuck in flashing mode for some reason type "thor2 -mode rnd -bootnormalmode"
4. After it installs and reboots, set up the phone again. Yes it will be in another language. proximo means continue. You can probably get through the setup without too much issues. Aplicativos means it's installing the apps, just wait 15-30 minutes and it should be done.
5. Turn on airplane mode or it will reboot every 10 minutes. Yes, really. Head to settings, idioma, add "Ingles" or your preferred language, hold down, press the second option (move up), hold down on portugese, press the first option (remove), press the reboot button.
6. Head to the software update section and update your device. It will take an update for an update to show, so be patient! If it says there are no updates available after an hour, please message me or if you're feeling adventurous you can try with "RM-915 VAR APAC AU TELSTRA" instead of the Brazillian ROM.
STEP 2: Update to Windows 10
Make sure you've done step 1 so your software version is 8.10.14219.341 or newer, since you cannot use SOUP on an older version.
1. Get SOUP from this guide.
2. Double click run_en.cmd and follow the rest of the instructions.
STEP 3: Interop Unlock:
1. Unlock the bootloader, enable mass storage, and root using this guide. Yes, you can use the .ffu for Windows 8.1 to unlock your Windows 10 Nokia.
2. Go to settings, search developer, tap the result that says "For developers".
3. Set it to Developer mode.
4. Set the date back to a time before Nov 24 2018 and reboot. The Interop Tools cert expired so it won't install if it's past that date.
5. Download Interop Tools, extract it, then copy it to your phone's storage over USB.
6. Open the File Explorer app on your phone, navigate to the directory you copied over, and install the files in /Dependencies/arm. Note that there is no installation progress indicator so please wait 30 seconds-1 minute before installing the next one or the app will not install.
7. Install the InteropTools appxbundle.
8. Open Interop Tools, go to the interop unlock section
8b. DO NOT TAP THE STORAGE UNLOCK SWITCH!!! USB WILL STOP WORKING! (You can turn it back off anyways if you accidentally turned it on)
9. tap the interop unlock switches and restore NVDK. Your phone is now Interop Unlocked!
STEP 4: Update to Fall Creators Update
You need to make your phone appear as a Lumia 950 XL.
1. Open Interop Tools, go to the registry editor
2. Navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo
3. Change the values to the following:
PhoneHardwareVariant : RM-1085
PhoneManufacturer : MicrosoftMDG
PhoneManufacturerModelName : RM-1085_11302
PhoneModelName : Lumia 950 XL
4. Reboot
5. Check for updates
6. Update the phone (You might have to wait a few hours before any updates appear)
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you reach 15063
If you ever want to change back, the original values are:
PhoneHardwareVariant: RM-915
PhoneManufacturer: NOKIA
PhoneManufacturerModelName: RM-915_nam_usa_228 (Your phone might be different, best to keep it backed up!)
PhoneModelName: Lumia 520

Installing Windows 10 Mobile:
Online update method:
1. Download the Windows Insider app from the store.
2. Follow the steps to register your account as an insider (if you haven't already done so).
3. Select Insider Fast. It should register your phone after a while.
4. Go to settings and check for updates. This step can take a very long time, so be patient and wait about half an hour. (It might even take days if the servers are running slow).
5. After waiting 1000 years for the update to appear, download and install.
6. Keep going to the settings app and installing any new updates that appear...
Offline update method:
Make sure you've done steps 1-4 of the online update so your software version is 8.10.14219.341 or newer.
1. Get update files from this guide.
2. Use the 2nd Generation\480x800 folder, then run iutool like the guide tells you.
3. After iutool copies all the files and says "Updating system" or such, go to settings -> check for updates to see the progress of the update installation. Now you just have to wait for about two hours for it to complete.
Updating to the latest (unsupported) version of Windows 10 Mobile:
First you must do the Interop Unlock, so scroll below and then come back to this section...
You need to make your phone appear as a Lumia 950 XL.
1. Open Interop Tools, go to the registry editor

Hello, here is a brief explanation to install stock rom pie with screen recording, which also contains some cool settings. It does not differ in any way with the official stock v30e, (kdz file) you can get on the website of lg firmwares or other places. just the screen recording and i think i remember the update patch is not the same either. The installation of this .up file has to be done from the 20k firmware, otherwise it does not work.
in general features what we will do will be:
1-we make downgrade to android 8, with refurbish option and kdz 20k
2-quickly configure our device and
3-update the device with the option fota upgrade and .up file.
read it a couple of times, to familiarize yourself with the process, if this is your case and you have not done it before.
Donwload this file from mega,weighs 1.91gb;
https://mega.nz/file/WQkTjbrA
Password f1T67seph-BxIOcivfpcFFxiCueHQgukTiK-e820eEo
>Download 20k kdz for f800l from lg firmwares.
enable usb debugging and back up your files. You are warned, since by downgrade you will lose everything in the internal storage, if you are in the latest version 30e of android 9. once done extract zip to a folder. first install the lgup .exe (if you don't have it installed) and then the .exe (msi) if you don't have it installed either. IMPORTANT: you have to find out how is your arb (anti-rollback) on the device.
write to the device's dialer.
*#*#244773825625#*#*
once you enter these numbers and symbols, a window will open and, sliding down you will find the tab; antirollback version. everything that appears in red should be 0 (zero).
*****IMPORTANT*****
If so, you can continue, if not, you will turn the device into brick.
***********************
the zip also contains the .up file, another called wpdapi and finally lgup_common.dll.
copy and paste these two files (wpdapi, lgup_common.dll) in the following path; local disk / x86 program files / lg electronics / lgup / model / common, If you have installed 1.0.28.5 (.dll), this is replaced by the one I leave you, it is a version for lg v20 f800 s / l / k, and it is version 1.0.36.0. Pasting into the common folder will add the wpdapi file and you will replace it when prompted by lgup_common.dll.
What I did before pasting these files in the common folder was to copy and save the version 1.0.28.5 .dll file in another folder, in case the connection between the phone and the lgup tool fails. so you don't have to run the msi .exe again just change it.
Having everything ready we connect the device to the pc, it doesn't matter if it is on, we will open the lgup tool, select refurbish and the kdz 20k. we wait for it to finish.
We quickly configure our device, you will be in android 8, enable usb debugging and reconnect to the pc.
this time we select the option fota upgrade, and the .up file of the zip and flash with the mobile on and without losing sight of the screen. I recommend having the screen timeout always on or in 5 min.
You will see that lgup freezes at 4 percent, but it is normal, soon a warning will appear in blue, "fota upgrade easy", on the mobile screen we press the back button and we go to the main screen, we wait ... he will only update. look closely at the screen and let it finish.
and done !, it has not been so brief. a big hug to all.

4.adb devices, adb shell and type
5. pm grant by4a.setedit22 android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
6.hit enter

8.Look for the" roaming _dualclock" option and change the value to 1.
9.done, Lock the screen and unlock with two taps and see the change.

Hey, so have you updated your lg v20 to latest pie update please let me know how is the performance of this update....is it better than android 8 (oreo)
Its a security patch
Would anyone know where I can find an OTA for the update? I need a .up file not a KDZ, tks.
Wow, this works on a Lg G6 with android 9, thank you
I am on ww 229. when i check for update it tells me your system is up to date. Do I need to do this manually or will it eventually show up. Also how is android 12 on this phone. Any bugs? any performance improvements?
A12 is pretty good.
also you could've just googled how to manually ota update asus phones. they works more less the same:
1. download the update pkg to the phone.
2. move it to the root of the storage (i.e. the first page you open when you tap internal storage in fm.
3. charge your device to at least 60% and up.
4. reboot the phone.
5. after a while it should give a popup saying update found, tap on it and start local ota.
some notes:
if you want to keep magisk then DONT reboot after ota finished. go to magisk manager and select install to inactive slot. then you can reboot.
This only works for updates not downgrade. if you flashed 31.xxxxx (A12) then you cant go back to 18.xxxx (A11), it won't give you the prompt.
Hi, in this guide I will help you to root, install the TWRP, and install LineageOS 17.1 (or any custom ROM for this tablet).
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device of any sort.
By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!
This firmware was developed for the p905. It doesn't apply to the p905v at this time because it's bootloader locked and a custom recovery isn't possible.
Doing this you will delete all you file, so before starting save you important data in a different device.
DOWNLOADINGDownload this .zip that have all the required files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aXfW2WoNER0kKRUc6dn0Odu3VW2swNA7/view?usp=share_link
Extract the folder in the Desktop for better agility.
STARTINGOpen the folder previously extracted, and run as administrator the .exe "Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.59.0". Now you downloaded the Samsung drivers.
Now run as administrator the .exe "adb-setup-1.4.3 run as admin": Answer yes for every step asked.
Remember to install the GAPPS from here (i didn't put them in the .zip file because uses al lot of space): https://opengapps.org/ (select the ARM and Android version, that in this case is Android 10.0, and I choosed the nano version, but you can select which you want in base of included app: https://gapps4android.wordpress.com/2016/03/20/gapps-package-comparison-which-to-choose/ ).
Store the .zip with the gapps in the tablet, in some location that you will remember.
In the extracted folder you will find the rom .zip file of the LineageOS 17.1, do the same as for the GAPPS .zip, so copy it in the tablet in a folder that you will remember.
This process will NOT require the OEM unlock, because Odin will do it for you.
Be sure to have enabled the USB debug in the Developer Options. Plug the tablet in the PC and be sure that the tablet ask you to enable USB DEBUG via your PC. Is no pop-up is asking you this, open the folder extracted, go to "fastboot" and open a CMD in this location, and type the command: "adb devices" this will trigger the tablet to ask you to allow the USB debugging via your PC.
ROOTINGPut the Samsung Galaxy Note pro 12.2 in the Downloading mode:
1. turn off the device completely.
2. hold down the POWER key and the volume DOWN key.
3. when you come out a screen with a yellow triangle and an exclamation mark and asking if you want to be sure to enter the Downloading mode (also called Odin Mode), to agree click the volume UP button.
Meanwhile start Odin (the file .exe called "Odin3-v3.10.6" that is in the extracted folder) as administrator.
Now plug the Galaxy Note pro in the PC and you will se now a message in the left box saying something like: "<ID:0/005> Added!!" the number is based on the COM port that your tablet is now connected (in my case was 5).
Now click on the button "AP" (that should be the only one clickable) and select the file "CF-Auto-Root-viennalte-viennaltexx-smp905.tar" in the main extracted folder.
Finally now click START. In my case took 5 minutes to complete.
When the process ends, the tablet will reboot automatically, and in the apps you will see an app called "superSU". If you see this app, you successfully rooted you device!
Open the new app and it will ask you if you disable Xnox and you will click yes, or ok.INSTALLING TWRPWe will install TWRP in the Easy way, from the Play Store. So open the Play Store and download the officiall TWRP app.
Once downloaded, open the app. If the app ask for request from superSU you will need to GRANT.
Ok, now click on the "Select Device" and choose our tablet, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and choose the latest .img avaible. It will ask you to download, so you click OK and it will open the browser and download the image file (should be called like "twrp-3.0.2-0-viennatlexx.img"). Remember where it got downloaded and return in the TWRP app. Now click on "Select a file to flash.." and select the image file now downloaded. Finally click on "FLASH TO RECOVERY" and in the pop-up click OKAY.
You should get a screen saying "Flash completed successfully!".INSTALLING LINEAGEOS (or any rom)Boot in the TWRP mode by connecting the device to the PC, opening the folder "fastboot" in the firstly .zip downloaded and opening the cmd in that location. Once you opened the cmd, type "adb devices" and now you should see you device. Now type the command: "adb reboot recovery". Your device will shutdown and automatically restart in the TWRP mode.
From here you can follow any Tutorial in the web to install the rom and the gapps.
But if you want to install now the rom LineageOS 17.1, continue following this guide.
Once you are in the TWRP mode, click "Wipe" and go to "Advanced Wipe" and select only the checkboxes "Davlik Cache", "System", "data" and "Cache". Now swipe to wipe.
Now go back in the main page, and click "Install" and navigate where you have the ROM .zip file stored of the LineageOS rom. When you find it click on it and Swipe to confirm Flash.
Now DO NOT reboot the system, go back and Flash in the same manner the .zip file with the GAPPS. After flashing the GAPPS, remember to click on the button "Wipe cache/dalvik".
NOW FINALLY CLICK ON THE BUTTON REBOOT SYSTEM. And here you go, that's how I upgraded from Android 5.0.2 to Android 10 for my tablet Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-P905.CONCLUSIONI only wanted to share my experience, because I had really hard time trying the upgrading becuase internet was not really clear about this.
If you have any problem I will try help you in this Thread, but i'm not an expert, i'm only a guy that searched the web alone.
Buona fortuna a tutti e Arrivederci!
Thank you!
