Hi guys, i m new to android juz bought a new HTC Sensation, trying to pair with bluetooth mouse but when paired and connected i could not see any cursor or pointer on screen and it only allow me to move the htc sense from page to page when i move the mouse left and right. I need this pointer because when i do HDMI mirroring on TV via MHL adpater it can make my move easier on TV screen.

Just a funny idea and just thought I would share
I would like to get a keyboard and a mouse connect to my Galaxy S and use it instead of my desktop PC just as an experiment.
So my first question is what keyboard and Mouse work?
I'm guess they would need to be a bluetooth or could I get away with a usb hub?

jippie
Logitech wireless Mouse MX620
Logitech wireless Keyboard Pro 2800
Both work perfectly using the usb lead that comes with the cell phone and the dongle that comes with the mouse and keyboard.
Hi guys,
Is there any way to connect a Hero or Vega (or any android device for that matter) to an external touch screen monitor and control the phone/tablet via the large monitor?
I understand it is pretty easy to watch movies etc on a bigger monitor but I am wanting to actually use the touch screen input of the monitor to control the device.
My aim is to use this as an entertainment system on a 22" (anything over 15") touch screen in a VW campervan conversion project smile.gif
Any help hugely appreciated.
Cheers,
Wag
look on ebay for touch screen addons for laptop or computer monitors most just emulate a usb mouse so if the android tablet or whatever your using supports usb mouse support like some of the viewsonic gtablet roms do i woul think it would work pretty good if you could find one for the size screen you want.
something like this but for the size screen you want http://goo.gl/4GdgT
You need to hack it
I had a similar idea and one of the Touch screen panels as mentioned by gator2k83. It did not work that way as he proposed.
The touch screen works with absolute positions. A mouse is relative position.
You need to hack it the bad way.
See my blog post about it:

If anyone has other experiences, let me know.
HP 23TM touch screen monitor and android tablets
Would the new HP 23TM touch screen monitor work with a 7 inch tablet as an external touch screen monitor? The table has a hdmi out and a micro usb out which could be hooked up with OTG cable?
Thanks.
It would be great to be able to do that

Its been 4 years since the original post, so I'm curious if its any easier now. I would like to control my Samsung Galaxy S3 (MHL compatible) via a MHL 3.0 cable and this touchscreen. Any ideas/advice?
Hello guys, is possible to have the mouse or something similar on Android?
I have a galaxy nexus and would be very comfortable on the internet, because some sites have menus that appear when the pointer is passed.

Yes. You need to find a mouse that communicates via bluetooth and then just pair it with your phone. I didn't realize this feature was built in so when I accidentally paired my phone to my bluetooth mouse, it blew my mind.
Hi,
My sister has a broken Samsung Infuse, the phone’s screen doesn’t work whatsoever other than the buttons on the bottom. she is able to plug it into her TV via HDMI, but when she uses the mouse, my TV says that it is unable to use pointer features on external devices. Any suggestions?
Hi
So I have managed to connect my mouse and keyboard at the same time to my galaxy s8+ (android 8)
But I'm trying to remap the keys for the keyboard so I can play mobile games with them both
So I used the app octopus to recognise my Lenovo 300 wireless mouse (which is connected via The OTG to usb type-C ) so now I can move the screen and shoot freely
And I connected my laptops keyboard via Wi-Fi with the app called Wi-Fi keyboard , the keyboard is working normally like a usb keyboard , even the arrow keys are working as they are supposed to , and I have no input lag what so ever
So, I'm trying to combine these two into one inside the game ( PUBG mobile)
If anyone has an idea please help
Nice
