So I've rooted and flashed my Charge to Humble 1.4. Seems like a pretty nice ROM, but for some reason when I go to add an event to the calendar, I don't see a calendar dropdown to use.
Anyone have any idea what I can do? I did wipe cache and Davlik I did not Wipe data however and the Flash seemed to go just fine.
Bump... Any one have ideas why I can't enter an entry into my calendar on Humble 1.4?
I am not sure but u can try to reflash the ROM...the calendar is there in the app list
I had the same problem. I booted into recovery, did a factory reset/data wipe, cleared cache/dalvik cache, and put 1.4 back onto the phone via odin, not the recovery. Now, my calendar syncs correctly and no more force closes when trying to pick a different calendar.
the developer is aware that there is a problem sometimes with the calendar and he stated he is releasing HUMBLE 1.4.1 on Friday to fix this issue!

im running Tnt lite 4.2.4 everything work fine except when i use the internet it only lets me use sites like facebook and youtube but when i try to got on anyother website it just closes without even saying force close its super annoying someone please help me thanks.
I use 4.2.4 and it's solid as a rock.
What was your install/upgrade process? Did you wipe your data and clear cache before moving from your latest/current ROM?
When doing any major ROM switching, even between say, TnT Lite 3.x to 4.x, it is always recommended that you wipe all user data and clear cache. This is unnecessary for supplemental/addon updates.
If you did not do that, then I would hazard a bet that something got left over in the system from the last ROM you came from and is now causing this problem with your current setup.
You can try just wiping cache and dalvik in CWM to see if that fixes it since it's essentially just your browser, right? If that doesn't work then I'd just go ahead and backup what you can and do a data wipe aka factory reset.
Good Luck.
it may be just your browser. you could try dolphin hd or xscope. if they work, then it's the other browser. Or you could use Titanium Backup then wipe data for the browser.

well i installed the tnt lite 2.x first and then i just jumped all the way to 4.2.4, i honestly never really used titanioum backup when doing the updates. maybe i should have now that i think about it, but the only thing that doesnt work is browsing the web it sucks and i did try to use other browser but still the same problem. when you say do a factory reset do you mean the one off of clockwork with the 2048 whatever thing or the factory reset in the settings menu?
I have done a factory reset and followed all the steps everything works but my calendar will not sync errors out i am attempting to sync my gmail account.
I had to reflash a couple times to get mine up and syncing.
Both my son and I had the same problem. We ended up doing a data wipe/reset and loading PnP with samsung TWiz zip. I don't think it has anything to with the latter but more to with setting up the gmail account fresh. I even did a cwm restore, taken from just before the wipe/reset and the calender kept syncing.
I had same problem I would just try to reflash pnp rom then the samsungandtouchwiz.zip from the pnp addons. I tried 3 diff addons but that doesn't mater as they are all the same apps. Like stated before may take a few times but that's what worked for me. I think I had lagfix disabled the time I got it to work
Hi i'm having a problemo here with adding an exchange server to eagleblood
eagleblood 1.9 is giving me "The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly." Strangley enough it finds the server and connects fine when i go to set it up, its when i get to the last screen of the set up and click next when it errors.
I've tried quite a bit of stuff. clearing cache of email app, clearing data, cache, dalvik, reformating, re-flashing. clearing out all my email (i just archived then moved the archive from outlook folder) said never get emails (rather than auto (push)).....
Pretty big fan of this rom, but this is a show stopper, anyone else have this issue?
restore your last rom and back up the email app with data, then flash EB 1.09 and restore the email with data.
The other guys is harder, restart, do a full wipe, install rom, then gapps(u must have these or won't be as awesome as it supost to), then the Trinity kernal, then reboot, everything will work and will be alot faster

ok well i've already done all of cwa 542 recomendations, those are the steps i follwed in first place. First i will try that again, then if no luck i will flash back to my backup of my stock and then data that (not entirely sure how to do that lol).
Do i need to flash the kernal? i thought it came built into eb 1.9?
what i've been doing:
wiping cache, delvik, system, data
flashing eb 1.9, latest gaaps..then booting.
I think this time i will try booting in before gaaps, then trying emial, then gaaps. lol
I will keep posted. thanks alot you guys big help.
*edit
So i tried again, all the proper steps no luck. What is the easiest way to backup an app?
now i come crawling back to your idea lol.
I'm pretty new to this...but i do program : )
Should i use titanium, or is there something better? any way i can do this non-3rd party. if not which is best i hear alot about titanium.
titainum is probably the best That is what I use and I have moved data and apps from all different roms with no problem using it.
ok I may try later tonight. in the mean time i flashed xboarders, which is great on battery. If i could be convinced that eaglesblood 1.9 was as good as bloated stock i would do it, but it appeared worse to me for the maybe 2.5 hours i had it installed and was browsing ect. it went from 100 to 63...still i will probably do it b/c the speeds are awesome.
wish i could flash xboarders with trinity kernal, thatd be sweet.
I'm having a little issue. Yesterday I flashed CM10 and had everything set up and all was good. I listened to music without a problem. This morning, on my way to school, I was using poweramp (as I do on a daily basis) to listen to music. After class, i decided to run poweramp and i noted that it would attempt to open but then i would get kicked back to my home screen. So i decided to use Apollo (which im not much of a fan of but I was glad I kept it). I came home and I immediately Got rid of CM10 and went with Stock based ROM. installed everything as usual but I'm still having the same problem. This time, I uninstalled the app (cleared data and cache), rebooted, installed again and the same thing was happening. So i decided to download another popular music app (player pro) and it was doing the same thing. Can I get some tips on what the Issue may be please? I have uploaded images of both of the apps stalling before I was kicked back to my home screen. And I also did a logcat. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Note: The link is to download the Logcat since its bigger than the XDA limit.

If you did a "dirty" flash when switching your ROM (that is, only wiping cache and Davlik cache) then you might want to try a "clean" flash. There's some disagreement about what a "clean" flash is; but, it at least includes a factory reset/data wipe.
I will do a factory reset/data wipe, and a cache wipe, and a Dalvik wipe when switching ROMs. It doesn't take that long, so why not just do everything.
Of course, make sure you back up everything first -- the factory reset will completely erase all of your apps and settings.

I've done that. I only dirty flash ROM updates. When I go from ROM to ROM, my habbit it wiping data twice, wiping dalvik twice, wiping cache twice and formatting system twice.
I Spent 2 hours getting this ROM set up yesterday and installed all of my mods. Guess I'll have to switch. Thanks for the reply
I wanted to post this in the BAKED thread in the developer section but I don't have enough poststo do it there, so hopefully someone here can help.
I just flashed crespo BlackBean 7 (BAKED) ROM (on my Nexus S) and inverted gapps. It seems to have installed properly but whenever I reboot I get a message that several processes have stopped such as YouTube and GMail, and when I go in to system settings -> storage I get a message saying "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". I get that message every time consistently. I've tried re-flashing the ROM but to no avail. When I installed the ROM I wiped "Dalvik cache", wiped "Battery Stats" and wiped "Cache partition".
It appears I've not done something or done something wrong, so if anyone here can help I'd appreciate it.
Did you full wipe before installing the rom? That means factory reset/data wipe.

I did not do a factory wipe because the last time I did that I lost everything, even after using Titanium backup to back up all my apps first. When I tried to restore there was nothing there to restore. Is there a way to use Titanium backup so that after doing a full wipe I can still get my stuff back?

So I bit the bullet and did a full factory wipe, but I still get the "Unfortunately settings has stopped" error showing up. I wonder if it's a bug in the ROM.

Storage settings fc is a bug in the ROM. It will be fixed in the next version. You should not get fc for any other settings. Back to kill is faster than normal. Everything else works fine on bb7.

Thank you!
I saw the back to kill thing, someone else had mentioned it on the BAKED thread too. Thanks for the info on the fc.
I got another problem though, that made me revert to my previous ROM. I was about to put my phone away for the night and decided to do one more reboot, but it never went past the BAKED splash screen. Even after pulling the battery it wouldn't boot. Is this a known bug too? Or did something happen to my machine? After booting to recovery and re-installing my previous ROM, everything seems to be fine.
Any thoughts?

There isn't any boot issue with the ROM. If you decide to try this ROM again, try to do a clean install.
Boot into recovery, do a factory wipe, go to advanced & wipe dalvik cache, go to mounts & format /systems. Flash ROM & gapps, reboot.
