When clicking on the clock widget it opens to the world clock by default.
Is there a way to change this action so it will open to another option, say the alarm or the timer...?

Yea the timer or alarm would be more frequently used for me than the world clock.
For me I'm not a jet setter!
I found a work-around solution, but I'm pretty sure this will only work if you are rooted. I'm currently using an HTC Sensation 4G, running the Elegancia ROM. I use Root Explorer and SQLite Editor (both available in the Android store. They are not free, but well worth the price!)
Here's what I did:
Open data/data/com.htc.android.worldclock/databases
Open the carousel.db
Open the tasks table
Edit the is_removable field, changing the 0 to 1 for the World Clock and the Desk Clock
I then went into the Clock application, removed the World Clock and Desk Clock tabs, moved the alarm to the first slot, and when I re-opened, the alarm popped up first. I didn't try just reordering the various clocks with the World Clock and Desk Clock remaining in the tabs.

Try StopTime. I've been using it for a year and a half and I havn't found anything better.
AlarmClock is also a nice freeware, easy to use.

The best "alarm clock only" solution I found is "pTravelAlarm".
- up to 10 alarms
- works even if your PPC is set to "silent" (that was my key requirement)
- optional today screen integration
- optional tray integration
If you need only 1 single alarm, I would go for AlarmClock (it's free!)
If you need some fancy clock application (with world clock, etc., etc.), get SpbTime or similar applications...

I have a samsung omnia II and installed spb which the mobilesence theme. Everything is just prefect except for calander and clock.
What i want to do is have the mobilsence agenda open the samsung calander (schedule.exe) in stead of the winmo default. The same goes for the clock and if there is a way to get it to show the alarm time as well when using the samsung clock.
I was able to change the text messages icon to open the samsung messaging app. I know i can just put a bunch of transparent icons over top of the widgets, but it will not work for 1 it still will not show the alarm time and 2 for agenda when you click it, it opens the entire week which i will loose. I would think this should be just a simple file edit and have it point to a different exe??

I use my alarm everyday but an annoy feature is when I click on clock it always takes me to the world clock which I don't need. Any way to default to alarm clock when hitting the clock app? Thanks.
If you press and hold the alarm clock, you can rearrange the order and have it first.

The App seems great and user friendly. It is easy to start using but has a lot of settings for customization.
The only feature that I am missing, and no good looking 3-red party clock has it, is Tasker/Locale integration. I want Tasked to be able to know when the alarm has fired. From what I have seen it is relatively easy to add and Pent (creator of Tasker) is very friendly and gives support very fast.

So after the Android 10 update my clock app's features vanished. To add an alarm I now have to hold the app while being in the homepage and then click "Create new alarm" in order to set up an alarm. The alarms work as intended. However I am missing features when I enter the alarm such as being able to add alarms in the app itself, hence the only way to add such alarms is by being in the homepage. I can not see the timer icons at the top or change to other tabs such as world clocks etc. Is this an issue for everyone or am I the only one, with a broken clock app rofl? Any help is great.
