Thank you Cezar! This rom is flying on my cappy!
I had a couple problems with the rom after flashing.. First problem was, I had no sound for my media, music player, netflix, or video player.. Second issue was rotation, when selected, had a mind of its own. Third issue was home & back buttons were reversed.... but after I flashed this Talon kernel (see screenshot of about phone), all the issues above were corrected, and this Rom runs blistering fast.. Again, THANK YOU CEZAR!!! I added a few other tweaks, also shown in screenshots, & my 1897 is now flying!!! Smooth as silk, stable & flawless, overclocked to 1.5ghz..

I spoke just a little too soon.. I guess I still have one issue to fix... If you have a fix for this please leave some info here... Google voice search is not working.. tried uninstalling & re-installing.. no luck.. force close.. any help on this would be appreciated....
Also updated theme to Paul diddy remix, added black Google search widget, transparerant Pandora & you tube widget.. launcher pro w/ honeycombed theme Gmail / calender.. looks great! Just wish my voice search function was working properly as I used it alot.... hope to find answer soon.. been searching to no avail

6.1 version doesn't include the stock browser, google voice needs the stock browser, if you have voice search to search internet. So if not installed will force close. It's in the OP

ii wiped and reflashe 3 times now. with the same result.
the original V2 works, but without wlan.
(is apps2sd needed for this version?
i have a 2 gb ext2 partition.)
This rom is awesome.
I've found theese problems:
a) Bluetooth not working
b) Exchange options seems not to work
c) Can't change lock wallpaper
d) Missing HTC WIDGETS like weather and stock
e) g-sensor calibrate not work
f) On downloading market apps, the graphic indicator before downloading begins, seems to be messed

Things I have noticed:
After receiving a call the scroll ball on my phone keeps flashing!
No Mail.apk.. I resolved this by pushing Mail.apk from another Hero build
This last one is purely personal opinion but I prefer the original Hero colour sceme/theme. Does anyone know how to revert to it.
None of the above are complaints, just observations.

How to use scripts:
Type the name into a adb shell or into a terminal emulator.
About BossMode:
Typing "BossMode" into adb shell or a terminal emulator will give access to and allow you to edit many parts of the system using any file manager.
For example, if you wish to delete system apps you can simply run "godmode", open Astro File Manager, long press the app, and delete it (don't forget to back it up first!). Also, if you wish to edit (using Astro) the build.prop, sysctl.conf, or install-recovery.sh files "BossMode" will allow you to do so. In short, "BossMode" can turn Astro File Manager into Root Explorer.Remember this is a beta so it might have a bug or two but nothing extreme. It will be out of beta next release.

Do you have FPS uncapped? Not sure why so many Roms get rid of Sprint Nav it’s great.
I would love to have Bluetooth mouse, keyboard and HDMI out all working and make this my Android pc. This phone is awesome!
I know Cyanogen has been working on Bluetooth option but they have yet to come out with a stabile rom. I have try a few nightly builds and there not bad.
I respect all rom developers for there time.

Yes it has stock browser dialer and contacts. It does not have apps that can be found in the market, for example Facebook and twitter. And yes kings kernel works!

voicemail?
I put this ROM on my Sprint EVO a few hours ago and just noticed that I no longer have anything for voicemail available under either apps or widgets other than Google Voice which I don't use.
What happened? I was already rooted and using the BakedSnack ROM but had problems with voicemail on that one too; apps were there but I never got notifications when I had messages. That was the whole reason I moved to this ROM. I wiped the unit first and followed all the steps to flash the new ROM.
What did I do wrong????

Since there is some differences in the framework, you may want to wipe everything to make sure you get a clean slate. Also, if you decide not to wipe data, make sure you flash your snap kernel while in recovery.
so if you are changing CM6 completelly why not use the stock htc rom as a base so that 4g/HDMI/Radio work.

if you have a nandroid of a nightly handy restore it and flash the rom over it and lemme know if that works for you. that will tell me.
The hulu app is not working for me. Keeps saying that the platform is not supported. Do I need to change the flash version to the hulu compatible one?

ok, you may need to reinstall the special flash inside for hulu. use root exp and go into system/app and re-install the adobe 10.1xxx apk. not sure why it didnt install for you, but that should fix the issue youre describing. sometimes i had to do that after flashing new nightlies.

i dont use anything other than cm6. nightlies preferred. seems pps not coming from nightly or cm6 are having the issues. if you dont mind could you flash or restore a nightly before flashing and post your results so pps coming from fresh can know what to do. thanks. i'll be here to help if you have issues but i can gurantee that will work.

sent you a pm. Basic stuff, came from 6.0.0, wiped everything via amon at least 3 times apiece, then flashed the rom, rebooted.....fruitloops. went back to recovery, wiped x3 flashed rom, flashed snap, rebooted....fruitloops. went back to recovery, wiped x3 flashed latest nightly, and all is well. I will be flashing this rom again over the nightly without a data wipe to see how it goes. If i flash the blueberry theme over any of the last 2 nightly's i get the same bootloops!

I tried this on a DROID 1 Oced to 1 GHz. Looks amazing, but moving b/w screens is choppy. But anything away from screens is smooth like browser.

D1-miui 0.11.26.0
I just flashed MIUI's new 11.26 ROM and it's running like a beast. After install I can already feel the phone is more responsive then the previous build. Once I get everything set up I'll give a more in depth review. I'll try to post some screenshots and shed some light on new features and themes as well.

No u shouldnt have to i installed it on my friends d1 the other day and all i installed was the rom itself and it comes with its own kernal

1,Anyone know if you have to wipe/reset if your going from miui 0.11.26.1?
2,When I upgrade to this version, will all my settings and such I just setup with 0.11.26.1 have to be redone?

I have been reading a lot about MIUI and have been dying to try it. But you have to admit that installs via Rom Manager make it a no brainer.
D1, CM 6.1-RC5, MM-SystemGT, 1.2 GHz
U can still use rom manager just download the zip online

this rom IS on rom manager for the droid1
under jamezelle>download and install 12.3.0 > then flash the 12.3.2 update over 12.3.0-NO-WIPE (DONT JUST FLASH 12.3.2 ITS ONLY 16MB)
Angy Birds on MIUI
Great work!!!
Very smooth and responsive ROM.
Only bug I've encountered is when I created a game folder on my desktop for my games.
I put Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons, both into the game folder and when I tried to access them MIUI kept force closing and wouldn't let me access or delete the newly created game folder.
I'm guessing it's because they (ANGRY BIRDS and ANGY BIRDS SEASONS) both have the same names.
Uninstalled Angry Birds and that seemed to do the trick, I was able to access my game folder once again.
Reinstalled Angry Birds and placed the two games in separate folders.
Prob solved.
Hope this helps anyone else having this issue as I lost all my AngryBird SCORES!(GASP!)

I installed new version over the old one and didn't have to wipe, it kept all my settings as they were before. Go for it buddy...

i spent 2.5+ hrs on the op(another 3 last night gathering all the imgs i used). its all there for a reason. regardless, thank you for the improvement suggestion.

Does mms work, in particular, receiving a picture with audio attached? How about GPS?

Can't update your profile on an aosp rom like cm7 or muiu. Gotta flash a sense rom in order to update your profile.
