I'm rooting and flashing a custom Rom for a friend. I have Android revolution HD 5.x.x. with code red theme. Everything looks beautiful but the keyboard looks out of place. Is there a way to find either a red and black theme or anything like that?

You've checked the rom thread itself, or looked for something in the themes section?
Probably have to go with an alternate keyboard that supports themes, I think one exists, though I don't know how extensive the selection would be, as I haven't personally looked into it.
Or see if you can hit somebody up who's good at that sort of thing to help you out.

I did with know luck, I ended up settling with better keyboard with a red theme. Its not as flashy as the code red theme but it matches better at least.

When I read the title of the thread first thing that crossed my mind was to suggest....exactly what you did . I have my Better Keyboard themed red also.

Well, not the optimum solution for you, but heck, it sounds like its a little bit of an improvement.
Maybe it'll inspire you to dive into theming yourself some day. Make your own is the truly custom way...

The point of this ROM is to be as close to an AOSP gingerbread rom but still be 2.2. I just didnt feel like waiting for 2.3 or the source to be released Absolutely NO t-mobile apps or games included.

Ok guys. This STILL NEEDS HEAVY WORK and I need some help here. I just wanted to get the ball rolling because someone had to. Consider this an open ALPHA build and Im just showing this as a preview. It is completely built off the Eagles Blood ROM all credit goes to doniqcc for giving me something to work with. DO NOT FLASH if you do not have CWM NVFlash version. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Things that need work.
-Some text needs to be changed to white
-Some notifications icons need to be reworked and notification text on bar needs to be turned white
-Stupid T-Mobile shutdown annimation removed. (I cannot figure out where it is).
-Gingerbread Keyboard Force Closes. Will remove for next release (can download off market). https://market.android.com/details?id=com.moo.android.inputmethod.latin.free&feature=search_result

Im gonna get all the png's and .9 pngs set up and then maybe send the ROM your way if you want. BTW, I learned this is NOT stock froyo at all. More like a froyo themed Optimus X2 ROM lol. Not all the framework follows AOSP so it looks like they reversed the X2 ROM for t-mobile.

Wrong!
Eaglesblood is stock room, built from stock. I can assure you try to unpack framework from x2 and G2x stock rom and then you will see what I'm talking about they're almost identical.

No I think I may have said this wrong. What I mean the origional G2X straight from factory ROM is not built like a standard AOSP or Nexus rom. it may look it but some things have been added and there is a whole LG set of framework just like sense and touchwiz although Im not sure where it is used yet. Yes, your ROM is stock, I guess i just misworded it.

Trust me... I know what you mean. Building a ROM from source is one thing but building a gingerbread ROM from a Froyo source is a whole nother beast. Im coming from the vibrant as well. Loved the phone but it just never took off in the development the way I had hoped. I would have thought an international phone on ever carrier would have a ton more support but I guess it was just too difficult a task.

I have been doing the best i can to get you guys a variety of themes for your phones. thefunkbot has great theme out as well(which is annoying cause some of his stuff makes my work look like kendagarden art class). But i have only ported the themes i made for the fascinate, i still have some work to do with them and also a couple more to port over, im sure there are other themes that other poeple would like to see. so, post your requests here. please link to the theme you want ported. i will let you know which ones i will take on, this goes for anyone who wants to do a theme. just post which theme you will do.

This is somewhat related...
Swype 3.0 is the BeesKnees. They've fixed my biggest gripes with it for 3.0. The predictive words are no longer an intruding pop up window but now a horizontal bar above the keyboard. Also, it now predicts for tapping as well as swyping. This now makes it a truly hybrid keyboard for me since sometimes I just don't feel like swyping.
Only issue so far, is that I have to install it over your beautiful themed swype 2.0. As of now you have to have root to delete swype.apk file from your system/apps folder so that you can go to the website and down load the 3.0 beta version. Make sure you do not have swype selected as the keyboard you are using before you delete the file!
GM, this is all a very long way of me asking: I guess we need to wait until 3.0 is out of beta before you start theming her?

I ported crysis to the fascinate, ask you can see here, and i am currently in the middle of porting another theme of mine to the charge. Maybe when im done with it ill port crysis too but idk.
I guess those of you who said/thought the Nexus S and other devices with less than a gig ram would not get ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) officially because of the rumored "Google requires you to have 1gb or more of ram to run ICS" can now put it to rest. Check out the two links below for details.
P.S. Am I the only one that dislike the blue icons/theme? I rather the green icons/theme of Gingerbread. What about you?

I'm very much aware of that. I was just stating that the official release from GOOGLE will be IMO ugly compared to the green icons most of us learned to love. Do you like the blue icons?

Honestly, the thing I wonder about is the "multi-tasking" button on the bottom right of the leaked home screens.. Can't we do something like that now? it should be easy, I mean the home button hold is easy unless working one handed (Like when I'm driving like a dumb ass). It'd be nice to just have a button that does that on Gingerbread.

As for ICS (besides the stupid Google Android name) would welcome having a real dual core optimized ROM on the G2X and could care less what color the theme was.
ICS for smartphones is supposed to be scheduled for the Fall. That will probably only be for new devices initially. Hopefully, after the code is released, someone will be able to port it over to the G2X.

I can't believe I'm saying this but that blue actually doesn't look bad on Andy. Come to think of it, Google might do RED, YELLOW & BLUE themes for future updates since their logo consist of blue, red, green and yellow.

I agree with you, we have enough out there to manage themeing the rom ourselves. I'm concerned less with UI features and more about hardware being tweaked and running smoothly. Though I will say, I wouldn't mind having settings and a browser similar to honeycomb... and then when they get the hardware tweaked and that stuff... then you can throw some neatness in it... a better native theme manager would be great. Give us the ability to choose past/present/future lockscreens, status bars... etc... like MIUI but native consuming less resources and what have you.

Hopefully, that's the only way the g2x will see it. LG can't even code gingerbread half a**'ed. But unless nvidia updates and releases the drivers it won't matter anyway.

Hello Everyone, I used to theme for the MT Slide and MT4G and I just picked up a Transformer a few weeks ago. I have started work on a theme for gnufabio's Revolver ROM.
I am going to need a few beta testers to make sure that it's working on other
people's devices and to report issues that I may not notice during my own testing.

Everything with honeycomb is so dark. How about a theme that is somewhat brighter and not so gloomy? Another cool idea would be green or red accents instead of the blue.

white. just white w/ light shades to offset it.. I remember a few themes like that used to be on the my droid x back when it was the bees knees..
It would be super clean esp. with winter starting up

Also, not sure if I'm going to put that much more work into this because of the looming Ice Cream Sandwich release for this tablet. A few people have advised me against even starting this theme because of ICS's ever nearing drop. As soon as gnufabio puts out an ICS rom, I'll commence work on a theme for that.

Its cool man, if I knew how I would try to make a whole icon pack to match your theme.. but I have no clue! I was just hoping someone had used a pack at an earlier time that might be able to throw an idea

Yea man it gets tedious. You'd most likely be donating a whoolllleeeee lot of time towards that. But I wanted to ask you, what's different in the update that match h8's cm10 update? I dirty flashed the newest cm10, then flashed your theme without updating and everything looks legit... everything works fine lol

Haha well for each build I have to import the theme into H8s' CM10. If not we would just end up with old files in a new ROM missing tweaks etc,understand?:good:
