What are the best emulators for TF? Are any of them optimized to run on honeycomb? Also, once you download an emulator, where is the best place to get the files?
I suggest you check out this thread.
It has a lot of information on emulators and emulated games confirmed working/not-working.

So far an all in one mame supporting all the different consoles is not available. But you can find information on all the Console emulators, tested games and controllers for the TF on my thread here.

The games you have go with a version of the console they were made for. Do you have a list?

I've seen some reports on the TigerArcade about problems with scaling but the games are playable. I've not gotten to TA for testing yet but did notice another CPS2 emulator called CPS2HD, nothing in the ratings about Honeycomb but HD in the title usually means support for higher resoltuion devices and scalable.
I would keep looking for other EMU's for the games you have rather than a mame all in one app. When the devs focus on one game type they produce better apps.

Anyone know where it went? It's no longer on the android market, or at least I can't find it anywhere on there.
i don't know where it went, but if you are looking for an emulator that can play gbc games, take a look at droidemulite
Here are all yongzh's emulators, uploaded by yongzh himself: https://slideme.org/user/yongzh. He only charges for N64oid, other emulators are free.
what is the best play station emulator for O3D
this one https://market.android.com/details?id=com.emulator.fpse&hl=no is the best playstation emulator on optimus 3d running at full speed and good compatibilite
I agree with the poster above, I've tried many emulators and FPSE is the absolute best
No games
FPse is only emulator I know but I uninstalled it because I couln't find any ps1 iso's on web so If you know any webpage with games please send me

This is the best android GBA emulator ever so have fun: http://slideme.org/application/gameboid
And the bios here: Well you will have to find it for yourself.
Install the apk and place the bios in your SDcard and when the app asks for it just locate it and the you would be able to play.
Oh and find roms for yourselves and don't as "where can I get roms?".
Thank you!
I tried it and another bunch of GBA emulators on a JXD s5110 and the best of all was GameBoid. You can read it on my blog: retro-android.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/android-gameboy-advance-emulation-using.html
First of all, hi... im new here, and new to android and more specifically nvidia shield (just got last night). Is there some comprehensive guide to setting up all the best emulators and controller mappings for them for my shield? and do i need to root it or whatever like i see people talking about?
First thing I would do is download retroarch. That contains all the most popular emulators and it is free. In fact the developer is very much against people charging for emulators and doesn't use ads or anything. The buttons on the shield are automatically mapped in retroarch as well.

You do not need root. Just download it from the play store grab a few of your favorite roms and play.
Retroarch calls each emulator a "core" so if you want to play SNES (maybe don't use the BSNES core or whatever it is called. It might be more buggy than SNES 9x or whatever the other one is called) you would load up the SNES core in retroarch and then choose your rom.
If I were you, I'd root your shield. That way you can write to your external SD card and change the minimum CPU frequency while running emulators.
