Does anyone have USB gamepad support working on the G2X?
I know it works on other android devices and needs to be supported in the kernel but don't know which if any support USB host for gamepads
The lack of bluetooth options with analog support is disappointing
I was wondering if we could start a compatibility list with what bluetooth game pads work with the SGS4G! I know the wiimotes don't work yet, but what about others? (360 w/receiver, zeemote, ps3, etc)
Sent from my SGH-T959V
GB 2.3.4 has native usb accessory support, so ideally any usb gamepad should work. Havent tested so I dont know.
When ICS comes out for the galaxy will i be able to use the USB/BT joystick center app to use a xbox controller (with a wireless dongle) to play stuff like nova 2 etc. Just wondering if it'll work once the update is out

To quote their app description in the Play market;
- Support for Wireless Joysticks (PS3, X360, iCade, Wii Remote, iControlPad, Zeemote)

The app definitely supports the xbox controller.
As for your device, I see two main parameters that will determine whether it will work.
Android 3.2 (or newer) Device with USB Host Port

On the Samsung product specifications page for the note, they state that it does have a USB host port.
As well as:
(ICS 4.0.1) has no “USB Host API” support. You need ICS 4.0.2 to use USB Joysticks

Do you know what version of ICS it will have?

Well its been delayed slightly and the recent leak of the galaxy ics rom was 4.0.3 so i think that'll be the version
I think the OP is trying to use a wireless Xbox 360 controller with the USB receiver. Not sure if that will work, it might require special drivers. The wired controller would work though
well the software i was talking about has the drivers for the wireless receiver so i don't see why it wouldnt. I was also wondering about its compatibility with games etc.
hey guys i m not able to connect xbox wired controller to my galaxy note ! when i connect controller via OTG cable the controller light flashs 3 to 4 times and then the light stops flashing ! is there any way to connect wired controller ?
So there is a really cool app on the market for ps3 sixaxis controllers that lets you control any game (even ones without gamepad support) with a ps3 controller.
The Bluetooth stack that is included in stock based roms for our device doesn't allow pairing with controllers like the wiimote and the sixaxis....
However cm7 does I Clyde a compatible Bluetooth stack and I can pair it and play Nova 3 with my ps3 Controller.. yet, HDMI doesn't work in cm7 yet... so I can't let my phone just be my game console...
And in stock the HDMI works but doesn't have a compatible bt stack..
Do any devs know how to replace the stock Bluetooth stack???
Sadly we can't make anything
unless LG goes open soucer ... and that is not gonna happen
why? no one knows
Hi
I recently got USB OTG cable and a few controllers but I am unable (more than 2) to find good games where my controllers work.
So I am looking for:
a) 2-player games that support USB controllers and remapping
b) A app that allows to remap controller keys system wide - Tincore Keymapper
If someone could provide some games or a app it would be so nice.
Only ones I have found are Bombsquad and Badland.
EDIT: Solved b)
