I'm running prime 1.5 and desperately need to upgrade the keyboard firmware without updating the transformer firmware. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi.
Is there any way to extract a keyboard from the transformer?
I'm not sure if it a developer forum question. You can find Asus keyboard in /system/app/Keyboard.apk if you use deodexed rom like Prime 1.3.

Worked with .29 and redid it after updating to .30. Very simple.
Yes its in the prime section but I found it from this thread.

You must unlock the bootloader to do it.

i think you have to downgrade the firmware if you are on the latest firmware to 29

I should clarify. My previous post is correct if you upgraded to jellybean. If you are still on ICS, you can root using the debugfs method found in the Dev section. You can do this on v30 for the t and v40 of the tg.

It's a long time since the lawt thread about dpi change. Last time it was not working anymore after a stock rom update. But since that time we have got 1 or 2 other updates. Does somebody know if it's possible again ? Thanks in advance

I tested it on latest stock. It's not working You will need to flash a custom kernel or ROM.
thanks for your answer, at least now i know

I have a locked and unrooted TF300T that I would like to root. It currently has 4.1.1 (10.4.2.18 US).
Can anyone point me to the best method? Rooted many phones, but not this tablet yet.
Thanks!
