Simple question - Is there any way of changing the ROM in an O2 UK HTC Smart
I've tried with a couple of other ROMS but cant get any further than the bootloader screen - doesn't seem to read the SD card with the ROMEIMG.nbh file from other ROMS.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a T-Mobile G2 NL Device with 2.1 update 1 built 3.31.110.1
I will root this device with a fabric RUU from HTC (HTC_WWE_2.273.405.5_WWE). But when i install i receive the bootloaderversion error (140).
What have i tried:
Reading lots of forums
Goldcard method: Doesn't work. tried 4 Micro SD card from difference manufacturers
Flashrec: Can' t make the backup.
Superoneclick root: When i install 2.273.405.5 i receive 131 customer-ID error and with T-mobile rom the 140 error.
With ruu tried:
HTC_WWE_2.273.405.5_WWE
HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE
T-Mobile_UK_2.73.110.26_R
Pls help me remove t-mobile rom.
If any1 need more info just ask.

Guys, I have a huge problem with my HTC HD2, bought via t-mobile in 12-2010. The mobile is (of course) T-mobile branded, SPL 3.03.0000. I wanted to put Andreoid on it. All I tried did not work to flash the memory. I cannot install MAGLDR112, not Radio Leo 2.15.50.14. When I tried: RUU_Leo_S_HTC_GER_3.14.407.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship the flashing shows 1% AND THEN i get the message: wrong seller ID.
If anybody has any idea what i can do with this thing - great to get good help here. Thanks, Andy
Hey I have a japanese modle Htc one, with 2 sim slots and stuff..now i got the bootloader unlucked, and custom recovery flashed (i think), and also did a nandroid backup to an external SD card. now i managed to install google apps but i heared that my spesipic model doesnt work with usual ROMs, it requires a specialized ROM for 802w.
I would like to change ROM because i cant customize my blinkfeed (its all japanese) and i got some popping japanese words here and there..
So if someone could help my i will really apritiate it

I have a problem with my ChaCha.
The touchscreen doesn't work anymore and now I want to give it back to Vodafone that they can repair it.
Because of the small internal storage I rooted it and deleted all of the vodafone apps and stuff with Link2SD...
But I forgot to make an backup of the original vodafone ROM (I know that this wasn't very intelligent ) and now I'm searching for a CWM Vodafone UK backup for my ChaCha which resets my device to the original settings with all apps.
My question is: where can I get such a backup from? or are there any other options to reset the phone to the original conditions of vodafone?

Hi all this is a bit of a ongoing thread "sorry" but Im a newbie:silly: anyway I still have no sim seen /inserted coming up, and I just received a new data sim from Virgin,I flashed it again + wiped but still flashed with stock "French " 4.2.2 so ? haven't gotten round to Cynogen but will give this ago before I open up the Tab to replace sim card holder (if it is this?)
Anyway my question to all is what sims are you using in the UK and also Spain for the data/phone as this seems to be a sticky one as Virgin don't recognize it as a phone ? just a tab hence Data only sim ?? and have read that others have had similar problems with Three etc............
