Hello,
I have just flashed my P500 to the ROM DarkMoon, it works perfectly fine. However i lost all my contacts in address book.
Is there anyway i can extract this from the custom recover nand backup i created? i also made a copy of all SD cards contents.
This would be highly appreciated! thanks.

All photo/file restore programs seem to only restore deleted information from memory cards. I need to restore some data from my device (T-Mobile Dash). I upgraded the ROM without backing up the few files I had saved directly to the device. Are there any programs out there that will do this? And can they be found for free??
Thank you in advance for any help...
I am using Android phone for first time, It's a HTC Desire (unrooted), I have a 4GB memory card installed in it with lots of apps and stuff on SD card. Now I want to root my device and bought a new 16GB card. I want to transfer all my data from this 4 GB card to new one, and also want to partition it for rooting. what is the easiest way to do transfer all my data / sms / contacts / everything else to my new card. and my contacts are mess, they were saved on phone not syncd with gmail. I saved them as cvs file and uploaded them on gmail but now every contact is double. alot of crap going on in my phone. anyways want to fix all of it and install my new card and root my device with lee droid rom. can anyone help ?
Guys Sorry if this question have been asked before, I tried to search but couldn't find the answer.
First root your device and install titanium backup and backup all your apps and data. After this copy all the contents of your card onto hard drive. ( take special care that you get the folder named TitaniumBackup, it has all your app and data for restoring)
Then partition your card according to your requirements by any of the methods recommended( i used amon ra recovery) and flash your rom and setup your accounts and all. After all this you can just copy back the contents from your old card onto new one and install titanium backup and restore all your apps and data with it.
As for the doubles in your contacts. log into google contacts and it lets you remove 'doubles' pretty easy.
hope this helps.
thanks man, so rooting doesn't remove my apps / data from device ? sorry i m noob in android world.
Edit. Did it .. thanks
I recently flashed to a new a rom. In doing so I ruined my Battle.net Authenticator.
I don't know what I was thinking...
I backed up some pictures and junk from my SD card before formatting and installing the new ROM.
Is there any possible way I can get the restore code from the Authenticator if I run a file recovery program on the SD card?
Or Even just restore the old ROM back?
I did try searching first >.<

Since I have installed Darkman's Rom which is stock I am no more able to save photos on external sd card although it is pointed as such in settings. As a result the gallery doesnt see the photos on external card.
my 2d question. I had rooted with High On Android while I was on pure stock. I thought it had been replaced with something else since Darkman's ROM was already rooted. Now that I am doing a Nandroid backup, or is it CWM backup, I still see High On Adroid logo there. Have I messed my system?
Any reply appreciated. Thanx in advance.
CWM Backup Nandroid backup identical .

Hi,
I installed CM on my phone and did a backup and restore through the CWM, but it seems all my contacts that were stored locally on my phone have been deleted. Is it possible to get them back?
Thanks!
