[Q] Galaxy s 4g lagfix?? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Just curious to know if there is a lag fix that works with the galaxy s 4g with the gingerbread kf1 or kf2 rom??? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. But I hear the gingerbread roms are smooth enough as it is.

oclf is not needed. If you are running onix or speedmod you just have to go into clock work mod recovery and enable lag fix and battery mod and bam! Thats it! Look in development for more info on this.

Can I install this kernel through rom manager?

You have a few options. You can install a rom with the kernel already added which to me is the easiest way. Just follow the instructions on the roms page. You could also place the kernel on the root of your sd and and use something like sgs kernel flasher from the market. It allows you to pick your kernel and flash it.
Look under development stickies and look for how to install a custom rom. It explains it better than I have. Also, backup all data and apps. Use titanium backup and look up how to do a nandroid backup before flashing.

I would suggest to stop using ROM Manager, as it sometimes causes issues with 2.2 and later ROMs.

no... rom manager causes problems with kernels that already have CWM built into the kernels (like all of the customs)
rom manager uses the update.zip method for cwm. which causes problems when cwm is already in the kernel.....
Newbie Question.

And how is your battery life???
Thank you!

Overclocked?

Hey guys this is definitely a noob question and I hope I'm asking this in the right place, but I rooted my phone (super one click ) even overclocked to 1.25ghz, but what does that mean I know it's supposed to make the phone faster but what else? Sorry about my ignorance any insight would be appreciated.

Makes your phone faster, better performance on games and drains battery. I recomend you to at the most overclock it to 1.10 but you should get the bali voodoo kernel by drhonk and you wont need to overclock it.

How to overclock to 1.3Ghz?

I used tegrak overclockto get to 1.3GHz on my Samsung Galaxy S 4G while running stock Gingerbread.
Now on ICS, is there anyway to overclock? I tried using tegrak again, but it failed when loading the module.
