Hi guys im using sensation asian roms... i would like to enquire on whether those using the asian roms are they able to remove the bloatwares installed on the phones? coz for me i cant ?
You can 'disable' them using the temp root but you cannot uninstall them

u need root folder acess hence you need root acess=Root your phone!!no other way

Depends on what kind of ROM are u interested in??
1.gb--endy
2.ics--ice ds(sense3.6)
3.fallout--sense4a
4.virtuous-sense4 full

Hello, this will come as a strange question , but is there a way to disable the new jellybean update ?
The problem is the following.
My grandfather of 81 y is using this tablet , for him it's very difficult to use , he's now almost customized to ICS so an upgrade would mean another learning process , and that not possible for him.
Since this morning i've got the message that there is a new version to install and normally i would enjoy this but he doesn't.
So who can help me ?
Just disable automatic software update and live in peace. Don't tap the update notification ever.

Hi, thx, that's what i need , unfortunally it's the procedure that i need, i can't find where it' at...
You could also freeze or uninstall updater.apk.

Are you using a custom launcher? Clear defaults of your launcher your using, press home and choose HTC Sense, let it load. You should get back lock screen shortcuts and you can revert back to your launcher that you might be using

Everything is stock , i looked the apps and search for HTC_Lockscreen and it says 0.00B maybe is because of that?

It could be that lol so you could factory reset and see if that fix it or if you have root then could replace the apks.

hahah i already tried the factory reset and it stays the same , i tried to replace the apks but i can't find it :/ no one has the apks for the stock ics 4.0.3 sense , thanks

No that wont work I mean one for your phone so have a look for TrickDroid for the S3 and get v3.

Hey dude you can't remove any system app on unrooted mobile.
If you are rooted you can remove all the apps including most wanted apps like setting.apk,systemui.apk
BUT DONT DO THAT...

ye im rooted i want just basic android apps that are need for the phone to work so i can make a full stock custom rom i know i cant remove phone,system ui, settngs but dont know with otherones i cant remove would it help if i uploaded screenshots of my system app folder?

I suggest you see cm7 package
it contains only necessary files.

Hello there,
If it isn't compatible for 2.3.6 then I suggest you use a custom ROM. (Android 4.0+) However if it still isn't compatible, then its not compatible with your hardware. The Galaxy Y has a ARMv6 architecture.

Try downloading it again, that happens with corrupt apk files.

If you want to save battery.. Use Ds battery saver.. Or try other similar apps

ok..let me explain..i have try install the multi lock screen for galaxy y..but when i have install it, i have recognized that this app make the running backgroud whenever i try to close..so i want to be uninstall this app..did u know how to solve it??
