* The Odin is for version 1.9RC1 only... the CWM release will update it to 1.9RC2.3
* This install will wipe all your data so be prepared
Do not use themes from previous GBE releases you will get a bootloop
Select Settings-->Display settings-->Unlock screen-->Glass unlock to get incoming calls to show up with the AOSP lockscreen slider rather than the puzzle crap
AppWidgetPicker causes issues with The Power Control widget (not the one in the dropdown) if you use this widget put it in place and on next reboot and it will no longer be blank...

if its the Gingerbread version of Humble then yes just wipe and flash,
if you are still on the Froyo Radios(i.e EE4) then you have to flash the radios and gingerbread leak via ODIN and then wipe and install this through CWM ...

I have been testin this ROm for the past 10mins and its one of the best I have tried so far,
Thanks for all the hard work again ...

delete me, please

this is a rom that must be flashed thru oden
read installation info top of thread...
Themes are avaliable under, the themes and apps page, and are usually zip install,
also more info on sticky tab in this forum "i think!"

I just re-flashed to ep1f.....sooo worth it!!!! Running this version of Gummy Charged....Sweet so far! thanks to everyone who worked hard on this!

Kejar,
Have similar changes that Danalo makes to increase battery life in the device been made on this ROM:
1. Increased Dalvik heap size to 64mb (saves battery)
2. Increased wifi scanning from 15 seconds to 180 seconds (saves battery)
If not, can you implement them? I love the original Gummy 1.x but without an undervolted PBJT kernel for GB, I am trying to save as much battery life as possible as it definitely went down w/o PBJT.
Thanks for all your hard work as well as the other devs!

Never had any problems with any browser. I went back to ef1 and that browser works fine. So maybe its something in the roms that can't handle the browser, that's why i am mention it. they will fix it. lol

Download link. Download sanding drivers.go toto my tutorial. A couple threads down that says HOWTo flash with Odin 1.82. Follow to the dot then once that is done connect your chargge to computer move the zip You down loaded at the beginning to sd card (go to my computer and move it there) boot into cwm. (Volume up and home and power) select install from as and select the zip and install

First of all I'd like to stress one thing:
This ROM uses so called Magpie aka native apps2sdext framework made by Firerat & me. Because of that please DO NOT use Firerat's All-In-One patch (if you really need please DO NOT use any option that relates to moving apps between internal and sd-ext - that includes ApkManager.sh and dalvik-cache) You are more than likely to have problems. You have been warned.
To fully use Magpie features it's best to select sd-ext in Extras(cmsettings)/Apps/Install Location.

How to use Metamorph
Always Nandroid before flashing any theme.
1. Download and install the Metamorph app from the Android market.
2. Open Metamorph, allow checks and Superuser. Press menu, open settings and increase Metamorph Delay to 3500 or so.
3. If this is a new theme, choose Unzip/Extract new theme and navigate to downloaded theme zip file on your SD card.
4. Click on the zip file and Metamorph will extract the theme files automagically.
5. Information about the theme may be displayed. Select "Close" when done.
5. A list of all the sub-themes will be displayed. Click ‘Apply All!’
6. Select "Continue" to apply framework-res themed files.
7. Reboot if it doesn't happen automatically.
Tips:
- Once you have completed all the checks in the Metamorph, you can Disable startup checks in Metamorph settings. You can also Disable the warning regarding framework-res too.
- After you've Metamorphed once, you can delete the theme zip file from your SD card if you'd like. The extracted theme is saved in AndroidThemes on your SD card.

* If coming from another ROM You MUST wipe before installing this
* The first boot after install GummyCharged will take a while at both the Samsung logo and the bootsplash. Give it a couple of minutes
*** Choose your own Gummy Flavor --- see second Post to download GummyThemes
No need to wipe if you are coming from 1.8.1 or 1.8.5 this time
1.9.1 Is a minor update to resolve some theme inconstancy's and issues.. If you are on 1.9 there is no real need to upgrade but either-way if you do no wipe would be necessary

Wow! Looks great! If I'm on another ROM right now, can I wipe in CWM and then install this over that other ROM? Also, how should I restore my apps? Titanium Backup? Nandroid?
Thanks!
This looks great! Please do keep the TW dialer, contacts, camera, and browser. I do like those, especially the dialer and contacts. Otherwise this is what Ive been waiting for! Love the theme too, don't need to change a thing with it. Keep it up!
Downloading now....
WOW...running this rom. Great so far! Only request is to get rid of the location icon. Thanks!
Flashed and running....thank you.
Flashed ...
this is fast,
yayyyyyyyy
Thanks
yes!!!! can I keep the puzzle lock screen tho?
kejar31 - great looking ROM, d/l it right now. So which method is best for "root" if we are on ED2? I have been running Voodoo Kernel by jt1134 to get root/voodoo lagfix/cwm.
Nevermind I will flashed the Root Stock ED1 Downgrade from ED2 and went that route. I will reflash the Voodoo Kernel Lagfix after the ROM is settled in.
Not that it matters, but quadrant gets stuck on cpu test 10...video decoding
I am having issues with both video players also. Not complaining...just giving you the heads up.
Thanks so much kejar31 It's fast and smooth, awesome!
Can I wipe using Calkulin's format all zip (from the Evo 4g dev section)? I always used that when flashing a new rom on my Evo.
Request: any chance we could get the 4g lte symbol back? The gingerbread one reminds me of WiMax =(
Can someone point me to a working CWM recovery please?
The one from JT doesn't go back and is so d*mn frustrating!
Is this one from imnuts the one everyone is using????

Wow! Looks great! If I'm on another ROM right now, can I wipe in CWM and then install this over that other ROM? Also, how should I restore my apps? Titanium Backup? Nandroid?
Thanks!

Yes wipe in recovery but most apps should auto restore via the market
Any one else having issues with exchange accounts? I think it is a certificate issue, but even unchecking use SSL doesn't help.

yeah I used ROM Toolbox to download Gingerbread just now, then updated to Liberty. so far it seems to be booting up, but gingerbread gave me a problem where my phone volume was too soft. I hope liberty's software won't repeat that issue since I'm coming from gingerbread.
That's not the ota update.
Installed rom, very quickly got insufficient space on device error message while restoring apps through market. But plenty on phone and on sd. Clear data on market and reboot, still no go. Any ideas? No reply on RootzWiki...

Gingerbread update gave me no sound during phone calls. Liberty flash fixed that issue but broke my 3G data connection. not sure which is worse x_x

Your answer is 2 posts back. Do NOT use Gingerbread from the toolbox. That is the old leaked version. Sound would have restored to normal after a reboot. Data probably broke because tje version of Liberty you tried was for Official OTA Gingerbread.
So now you probably need to sbf, then from Froyo, select menu, settings, about phone, system updates. Then you can root using new D3 method.
Sent from my DROID2 using XDA App
Is there a way to get the OTA update without being connected to a network. Maybe thru wifi? I've looked everywhere on the internet for it but it doesn't seem like its out there yet.
Just want to let everyone know, I have installed this ROM and so far it is fantastic.
I love that it has all of the USB modes available for sync'ing with a PC. This is something I sorely missed with CM7.
Just tried to install this ROM. I had MIUI on it so I SBF'd it back to 2.3.20. Phone was up and going with a fresh install. Re-rooted. Installed bootstrap 1.0.0.5 and then attempted Liberty. Got stuck on the 'M' logo. What did I do wrong?

So if I read this correctly, I can't install this ROM from CM7? That's a pain in the ass, because if I have to flash back to OTA Gingerbread, then I can't run CM7, because it only runs on a Froyo base.
Unless, and please tell me if this will work, if I make a backup of CM7, flash back and OTA to Gingerbread and install Liberty. Will the CM7 backup be able to be restored if Liberty was installed on Gingerbread?
No you can not flash back to froyo based cm7. You can run rev's cm7 which is built to run on ota gingerbread. Its in rom toolbox.
I think you misunderstood. I'm running cm7 now, but wanted to run Liberty. If liberty only installs over Gingerbread ota, but cm7 only installs over Froyo (the 2.4.330 sbf), I can't backup cm7, sbf, take the ota, install Liberty and then restore the backup of CM7, can I?
my point is, it seems like we can either run CM7 OR Liberty, but we can't flash back and forth between both. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You could restore to your cm7 after sbf back to froyo.
Or run revnumber's cm7 on the ota and liberty. Revnumber's cm7 builds can be downloaded from rom toolbox app and run on the ota gingerbread
Interesting. Sorry for the hijack, but how stable is the revnumbers release? I think my current cm7 (http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=cdma_droid2we&type=stable) might be the cause for my other app issues, like Boot Manager. I tried installing this version of Liberty into an SD port in Boot Manager and it bootlooped; the dev canpt figure out why the D2G doesn't load the ROMs properly, so I think it might be the CM7 I'm using that's over Froyo.
Its as stable as froyo cm7. Its the same rom just has some lib files updated to run on gingerbread kernel. You can check out rootzwiki.com. that's where it is posted and discussed
Sounds good thx. I'm going to SBF, OTA and try both CM7 and Liberty. I'll report back.

So I followed the intructions to a t and have been sitting at the M logo, any idea why? I really wanna try this guys.
Sat for about 15 minutes then did a battery pull.
Edit: Second try, I've already sbf'd back to froyo then I did the ota and everything then bootstrapped recovery then flashed the newest cwm then rebooted into recovery and I'm sitting at the M logo still. Please help guys.
Edit: I now started checking the md5 sums and none of them have matched, I've tried downloading multiple times and am just gonna keep trying. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!
Just curious, do you need to do a factory reset in Clockwork to install 2.0, if you are upgrading from 1.0?
Thanks.

I had issues downloading as well... if you use rom toolbox pro you can download directly to your phone (on wifi, its too big to 3g it unless you don't mind waiting overnite) rom toolbox checks the file when the download is complete so no issues with wrong md5 checksum... that's how I downloaded it to my wife's d2... just throwing that out there...

my droid 2 is a spare phone with no service, is there any way i can get the ota somehow ? tried searching but no luck.. my main phone is my tbolt but i wanna play with this rom and sell my d2 with this rom if anything
When I DL from the link it lists the file as 2.0 but it installs as 1.0??
Just an oversight on the part of the devs - you have the correct dl.
Yeah I was kinda thinking that once I found a part in the ROM where you could actually change that text.
However, a bigger issue is that is broke my 3G connections. I can surf via WiFi but not 3G. Ive hard reset several times and reflashed the ROM. I even called VZW and had them generate a new A key and manually added it in the device and STILL didnt work.
At this point Ive flashed the SBF and waiting for it to boot as I type this.
Any ideas?

[ROM] [ICS][UCALC4][EMBRYO-1.1][Updated 04/14/2012] CWM zip available

STANDARD DISCLAIMER You are installing this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible if you brick or anything. This is my daily driver, it has given me excellent battery life (actually goes to deep sleep).
THIS IS AT&T Skyrocket ONLY. Since the Kernel is included in this ROM and is cooked for AT&T only.
ChangeLog:
04/14/2012: Embryo 1.1 - Update
* Added call recording. (removed, Add Call button)
* Added El Librator 15toggle blue theme. (thanks El Liberator, you can thank him here).
* removed couple of bloat items
* Incorporated all patches from 1.0 onwards.
- Blue Circle battery.
- Autocorrect dictionary pack added.
Updates:
08APR2012: Upon request, providing the Circle Battery Mod, as a separate CWM zip. Note: this goes on top of the Embryo-1.0 base.
Introduction:
This ROM is my daily driver. I have deodexed ONE file at a time with the only bootclasspath required for each APK, yes I am a little bit anal about these things. No Kitchen or random dump everything in the classpath and deodex.
This is completely debloated. Purged with care and testing. If you need any app missing let me know I will give you the APK.
This is a basically *my* ROM, please no ETA. I do this to customize android to my liking. This is NOT themed, it is as stock as you can get.
Features:
* Guranteed to be smooth as butter .
* 15 toggle mod from wanam lite painfully ported to our skyrocket. (thanks to lidroid and wanam).
* Tethering support. (yup, it works)
* Stock Kernel 3.0.8-perf with ramfs mods (adb root, insecure, boot animation, run-parts or init.d support, usb debugging enabled)
* host files (adblock)
* Debloated (painfully removed all bloat)
* deodexed and zipaligned with care.
* busybox
* SuperSU v0.87 from ChainFire
* bash
* build.prop tweaks
* Titanium Backup preinstalled.
* auto zipalign any new apps (via init.d)
* Updated to latest Google apps
* Circle Battery Mod as a separate CWM zip. Please see below. (NOT part of Embryo 1.0 base).
* can't remember..will add
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Installation (For Update)
For updates please make sure, you are on Embryo-1.0 base.
* Place the update zip on SD Card.
* boot into CWM recovery
* Wipe Cache.
* Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
* Choose zip from sdcard.
* select the update file and flash.
* please let it settle, as it would need to rebuild the cache.
Installation (For Full Wipe)
This is important, please follow the instructions carefully. Also, you need the UCALC4 modems, if you don't have it, let me know I will upload it, download link in the end.
Backup:
Make sure you back up your data. I typically use TiBu, to move from ROM to ROM. Just backup "user" apps do NOT attempt to restore system app or data.
Prep:
Make sure you copied the rom and if necessary the modem into your SD card (internal or external, as the touch recovery can show both).
Install Procedure:
Make an Nandroid backup, in case you want to revert.
Go into Clockword Recovery. I personally use this ClockworkMod Touch 5.5.0.4.
Wipe data/cache partition (complete the action by selecting the Yes row)
Go into Mounts and Storage -> Select Format /system (complete the action, by selecting Yes row)
Did you WIPE Data/Cache and Format System as detailed in Step 2), 3) and 4). Please do it.
Did you really do Step 2) 3) and 4)?? If not please do it!!
The reason I am emphasizing Step 2),3) and 4) is because, the update script will NOT do that for you. I have intentionally not incorporated into it, as I found the format command to be unreliable, in the recoveries I have encountered so far. But, in the touch recovery it works flawlessly when executed from the CWM Menu.
Now, select the ZIP you downloaded and go through the install.
Enjoy!! the super fast and smooth ROM.

FAQ
What bloatware has been removed?
Except for Samsung touchwiz and Keyboard, all AT&T bloatware, Samsung Bloatware (including wallpapers) have been purged . If you need any apk let me know I will create the CWM zip and post it.
When I do About Phone -> Software Update, nothing happens?
Yup, OTA update APK's have been removed. Since it appears the SR OTA updates require the standard recovery, which you will not have if you are installing custom ROM and if the ROM fingerprint has changed, you will need to ODIN back to Stock. So what's the point I say in having it around .
Is Tethering supported in this ROM?
Yup the WiFi Hotspot will work, just make sure don't enable the switch in the configuration screen. The USB tethering also should work, let me know. Yeah you will get the "Portable Wi-Fi not supported" message, but it is ok. Also, the device list will not show up too, since I have removed the TetheringManager apk.
As a side note, I have seen the HotSpot work with the 15toggle mod, without the mods .
Contacts and Dialer lag?
Well, this seems to be a common problem in the leaked ICS. I have switched to evDialer exDialer (if you have not, try it!) from the Market. Also, I need the damn Contacts tab in the Dialer, I don't know why this has been removed in ICS, sigh. I might try to take a stab at fixing it, but I need the contacts tab on the dialer, so interest is low .
Can I change the Buttons Order in the 15Mod Toggle Panel?
Sure, you can. Just use the included QuickPanelSettings App.
Thanks for all your effort in making this rom!!! Gonna give this a test run when available and report back later!

I would install it from the ICS leak, as you will be pristine. I will see if I have time later to post the UCALC4 radio, since I have to dd the partitions and they will be 100MB each (i.e. total 200MB), I would rather people use the ICS leak and then install the CWM (via ODIN, I can post one).

I'm downloading this (first jump to ICS) because the OP sounds like a bad ass.
