I was really excited when i saw the news that there was an update to fix the damn reboot issues and all. Just was wondering though, what is the tabbed app drawer? Everything is still looks the same. Anyone else have this issue.

I have not done the update not have I seen it, but just guessing I am thinking that tabbed apps is organizing the app drawer like how the DINC2 app drawer is organized.

Is that what BAMF stands for? haha had no idea.
I use go launcher and it has those features in the drawer already.
Got the update and I don't have the tabbed app drawer but I do have more bloatware.

I emailed HTC about this and they told me they would look into the problem for me so will see what they say

There is and I have the instructions based on the Vibrant. Unfortunately I've had problems getting it to work. If someone wants to help out on this, the post that I was following is here.
I know that the Fascinate guys have gotten it to work. Nitsuj17 gave me the link along with others when he helped me out with some theme porting questions.
Quick Boot I use it and love it. that is the free version.

That's what I use too, but I use the pay version to get the hot boot option.
What he's wanting is a way to not have an extra app added to the phone, though.

Miui is awesome, great battery life fresh new interface and tons and tons of customizing options.they also update the rom every friday with a new version. It will be a huge hit on the g2x, I always used it on my nexus. If you dint like how it has a iphone feel you can just install a custom launcher and problem solved.

thank you cause some one in this thread asked what's so great about Miui. I swear some people will never be a Jedi master with dumb questions like that.
Did you guys tried the test version? Were you able yo change screen density with no affect on apps' function. I know this is a known issue with miui.

I hope they going to have the new lockscreens in it, the only downside I do not like about MIUI is every ROM I have seen has all white setting screens and I hate white! I however love the top bar battery, that thing is cool!
Miui is more white then black. It is inspired by the iOS in many ways.
There are many differences but the biggest is the homescreen which rids the app drawer for desktop icons... very similar to the iFones. A custom launcher makes it more into a standard andriod feel.
The big icons attract most people. Its a very pretty rom.

i loaded it on my friend's inspire too. its very very clean that's my favorite part, the transitions are cool looking and the lock screen & notification pull down are nice, but after 20 minutes i got really annoyed at the UI. It resembles the iPhone UI a little too much.
I've never actually used an MIUI ROM before, but I have used some of the apps. The camera, music app, and the web browser are awesome... I can't wait for a full working MIUI ROM so I can try it out, however long that might be
transitions are nice @ lippstuh - - i dunno i got annoyed with it as well, but i know if i had it on my phone give me 20-30 minutes and it won't even look the same

In all seriousness about that, I tried merging of Cyanogenmods radio interface layer and i had data for about one minute and then I wasn't able to bring it back. I am not claiming to have a working solution since I am extremely new to developing and was just using newb ingenuity. The only problem that I ran in to AFTER the fact was that my dumb old phone wouldnt go back in to 4g, no matter which rom and radio I used lol! I <3 MIUI

I've only found two issues with it so far
Desktop Vizualizer will not create custom icons
PhotoContact widget does not work
Yeah I found it while digging around xda. Very good and accurate. Only problem is that it seems kind of laggy, at least compared to go launcher.

Agreed. My only gripe about it is not being able to hide the dock. But I like being able to open the notification bar by a simple swipe down anywhere on the screen.

Yeah man, had to let the madness die down or I was gonna get myself banned. Not really much going on anyway, except for the new Bullet rom.....which im dying to try out but gotta have the in-call dialer issue fixed first. Other than that, and the Kexec bypass, pretty quiet on the A2 front :/ I'm a flashaholic so im having withdrawls, gonna get an HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S III here within the next month or two, plenty of dev for them!

I am partial to Go launcher myself. Holo is growing on me though. Only things I find wanting are gestures for doc apps (folders are an ok substitute) and ability to scroll vertically in app drawer. It is very snappy and customizable.

First, I I hope you will still be involved in our Atrix forum. I know we have had our differences but I've always respected your insight and tastes.

I tried really hard to replace Go Launcher with Holo but it's just not happening. Go is faster, more customizable, but the ICS experience is unbeatable with Holo. I know it's still in Beta at the moment so I'll def check back once it sheds the Beta tag.....if I don't already have my SGSIII by then
