There is a note inside it Didn't do anything from where i'm sat
The app doesn't install. Too bad, it's a nice clock.
There's no need to include an mp3 file in the archive - it's a waste of traffic . The program itself is 127KB and packed with this mp3 it becomes more than 10 megabytes. Not working even if you change permissions to rw-r--r-- (missing in the instructions).
Let me try it and see if it works ~ and damn, you did put an mp3 file inside the rar? -__-
please remove the mp3 files, and re-upload bro..

Hi, Moon.
Having trouble with the zip.
Astro says can not find file type and my computer cannot extract them either.
Any ideas? Thanks!!
Oh! Sorry D: i check it now..
Hmm.. What do you use to unzip?
they work fine here (Both ubuntu and windows 7)
oh and they are meant to be extracted on the pc,
I'm running Windows 98. And winzip says its skipping the file because of unknown compression method.
Can you make this for the 2.3.3 gingerbread keyboard??
Oh Hi! i see you run CM7
Yes open Root explorer and go to "/system/media/audio/ui/" and rename every Ogg file from my zip to the right ones and overwrite those in the "ui" folder
REMEMBER TO BACK UP PLEASE ;3
Eh? Win98? x3 sorry but i think you should use 7zip it should work on older windows versions too,
Thanks for the update Moon.
7Zip worked for me!!
Your Welcome. and by the way i packed the .zip version wrong i re,upload it Too!

I've done this and they don't show up in my settings. Is there anything else I need to do? If I go to the files in file manager they all say unsupported file type when I attempt to play them. Both the ogg and mp3 files.

Not sure what the problem is, but I've downloaded this several times and not only will they not play on my Charge, they won't even play on 2 different PC's.
Giving up!
This is my first post so please dont flame me too bad!
Just bought a GS2SR and installed a keyboard app to replace the android keyboard however i LOATHE the keypress sound (sounds like an old typewriter). I really like the galaxy s2 keyboard sounds so here's what i've done to solve the issue so far..
-downloaded stock GS2 rom and extracted the .ogg sound files for the keyboard click
-converted .ogg files to .wav(same format as files i am replacing inside the .apk) and renamed them to the EXACT name of the .wav files i am replacing inside the .apk
-download the keyboard .apk and open in winRAR (didn't change file extention)
-inside the .apk i located directory containing the .wav files and deleted them
-from the desktop i dragged the new .wav files into winRAR and dropped them in the original directory
-close winRAR
-resign .apk
-plug phone in and view on PC as mass storage mode.
-click and drag newly edited and signed .apk into the downloads folder on phone
-unplug phone
-install .apk on phone
So the installation went fine. I go into messaging and the keyboard shows up and works perfectly. only problem is i have no keyboard sounds! why aren't my new .wav files playing when i press a key? what am i missing here?
Did you rename the .wav files to be the same?

From my limited experience, I don't think it's that easy to modify the apk. Me thinks you need to decompile the .dex, muck around with that a bit, re-compile the apk, then rezip and resign it.
Doesn't hurt to Zipalign it also.
Look up Apk Manager to get more info.
SGS3 Media Files
Included Files:
-Alarms
-Ringtones
-Notifications
-UI Sounds
If you know how tou use then:
-Must work with any phone...
-Must work with any froyo-GB-ICS...
-Must work with any ROM (Stock-Custom-CM7-CM9-MIUI-AOKP...)
Using Files: First extract ogg files from downloaded rar file...
Copying the ringtones into the SD card folder may enables the files to show up in the ringtones selection. If your phone can not play ogg convert them to mp3 with using any 3. party program...
For Samsung Phones: Coppy ogg files into the correct SYSTEM/MEDIA/AUDIO folders with any root explorer then RE-BOOT. And make sure set permission to rw-r-r by root explorer.
Converting ogg to mp3:Get foobar and Lame encoder - then drag the files into the foobar window and then right click on the files (select all), convert (to mp3), and walk through the prompts (you need to download LAME too - try freecodecs.com)
