I have a rooted Evo running cm7 7.0.3 with savaged zen kernel 2.2.1 when I connect it to charge the orange light only stays on for like 3 seconds and then it stops charging. After I leave it like that for a while I remove the battery and put it back in and the percentage goes up but I can't tell it's charging does anyone has a solution to this issue?

Hello to All that can Help.
I have a CDMA Hero and in my battery icon I am showing a yellow triangle with a exclamation point. In my battery status is shows that the battery is overheating. Here are the stats. I am using Extreme Blue Nov 28 ROM, I am using Uncapped Kernel #43 (registering 691), I updated the radio to the newest sprint radio. Aside from that, everything else is normal. When the icon shows up, most times I am unable to charge the phone. I can plug it in, however it does not show as charging. I take the battery out for about 10 minutes, put it back in, nothing happens, I plug it into the charger and it may show the orange charging light, however it does not turn on until the light starts to blink orange and green, unplu from charger, and then it turns on. What in the world is wrong. I have tried using a different battery and the same problem occurs. Can anyone please help me!!!!
Thanks
So using the netarchy SBC kernel on my 004 evo, had phone plugged in, woke up and realized it wasnt 7 am it was 11, looked at my evo, it was DEAD, no indicator light, tried charging etc, nothing not even a charging light, took it to sprint they told me my battery was bad,
there were 12 other people waiting with the SAME issue,
upon further thinking and common sense i simply thought the battery had drained to a point
where its not even strong enough to have the evo charge it... so what do i do?
i grab a mytouch 3g, pop the evos battery in, plugged it in, blinking orange light!!!!!!
let the light turn solid, threw it in my evo, and bam, booted into hboot! not only that but now my evo successfully charges to 100% and gets me my usual 12-14 hours of battery life!,
post your experiences with the [dead battery][dead evo]
Hi all,
I went to calibrate, bump my battery, and while powered off, my grayscale battery logo comes on while the charger is plugged in, but the battery animation seems like it's crashed or frozen. If I unplug the charger, the battery image still stays, and won't go away until I pull the battery. Furthermore, when plugged in for a bit, the green battery meter does not show. I plugged in while powered off at 100% prior to the bump.
Anyone else have this problem or have a suggestion to fix it?
Running GC GBE 1.9RC2.3, EP1W
I had the same issue on RC2.3, seemed to have been a bug with it. If you want to calibrate with that method...I dunno what to tell you. Maybe wait until GC GBE 2.0?

Had the same issue, too.
Phone went off, mostly when trying to wake or unlock.
happened with sense and aosp roms.
Turned out that the battery behaved weird (also using Anker).
Just changing battery (still have stock one) seemed to solve the issue.
What I did was as follows:
- boot into bootloader and let the phone untouched until it shuts down due to low battery
- charge battery while phone is off till led is green + 1hour
- unplug, boot and after it has booted switch off phone again
- charge battery for another hour
Currently no issues with my Anker battery

keep a piece of business card (I kept a panadol strip) between the top of the battery housing and the battery.
SIMPLE AS THAT

Hi, so I recently bought a HTC one x+ plus battery (BM35100) to put into my HTC one s (s4 version). Everything went smooth, I turned the phone on and again, everything was good.
I saw I had 97% battery but when I charge it, it stays on 97% and has blinking orange led light constantly whenever charger is in. If I use it without charging the phone's battery decreases normally.
I checked under settings << battery and it says 'unknown' where it should say 'charging'. I also tried the volume up + down + power for 2 minute method but no luck to get a solid led light to say its charging. Also, when I power off the phone and then boot it, it shows 97%.
My phone is rooted and s-off and I'm running trickdroid 10.3.2 Rom.
I appreciate any help given, thanks )
@HuzaifMustafa you have to modify the rom to can recognize the battery. its on spanish.. so use google translate lol http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=755503
So if I flashed cm12.1 it would work fine?!?
