ASUS Bootloop When Trying To Enter Recovery From Prime

I was in Honeycomb, I'm running Prime 1.6, and I hit the power button and pressed the recovery button. My Transformer has been bootlooping ever since, I can't even turn it off, it keeps turning on then off, etc. I tried NVFlashing a recovery but even when that is flashed when I try and manually enter recovery by holding power down then rocking it up, it just continues the bootloop, turning off then on. Any suggestions? Will I have to NVFlash to stop this? And yes, I searched.
The only way i was able to recover from a bootloop is hold down the power button until you see the tab turn off,as soon as it turns off, hold the volume button down, when you see the text in the upper part of the screen hold the volume button up,it should boot into CWM.

I cant access my bootloader/recovery

I was just flashing the CM10 ROM on my phone. Pity did I know that I needed to flash the boot.img file also,so now I am stuck in a boot loop. The problem is that when I hold the power button to shut down the device it seems to be restarting. So holding volume down button and power button isnt actually bringing me to the bootloader.
What can I do to solve this problem? Is there a way I can revive my phone? I need help.

Press and hold power button. After touch buttons on the bottom flash *5 times(i think), the screen will go black. When the screen goes black, let go of power and press and hold volume down.
Thanks man. That works

Phone stuck in bootloop, can't boot into fastboot or recovery, Please help

After trying to flash a TBO calendar/calculator inverted app I rebooted from recovery only to now be stuck in a bootloop. The only thing the phone will do is begin to reboot itself if I press all three buttons to "hard restart". (power+vol up+vol dwn). Tried using adb/fastboot to reboot into recovery or bootloader but I don't think that the phone is far enough into the boot process to be recognized by adb/fastboot because typing adb reboot-bootloader just returns "waiting on devices". I have also tried to use power+ vol dwn combo to reboot to bootloader. I have noticed that this only works for stock and other certain ROM's. It's a hit and miss as to why this occurs.
So right now I am stuck in a perpetual bootloop with no way to get to recovery or bootloader. I don't know of any other way of getting into recovery to restore a nanroid. Any one have a good suggestion? Please!
The combination of power + volume up (for like 10 or so seconds) will force a reboot. As SOON as it reboots you just need to hold volume down to get into bootloader.

I'm having the same exact problem, I figured out the volume up + power, turns the phone back on in a hardboot. But, exactly how long do you need to hold the volume down button for once it's rebooting?? I just got a replacement phone on 9/24, my previous phone had no problem with this & had the option of fast boot in the settings. Just rebooting my phone takes FOREVER to turn on (or so it seems in comparison). Any idea how or why this is now? Is it due to an update, can I uninstall the update to go back to a fast start setting?? Thanks!!

When you hold the volume down button are you also holding the power button? You need to use volume up + power to restart. Then, when it restarts, immediately hold volume down without letting up on the power button. Needs to be volume down + power to boot into hboot. As for now long do you hold it, until it boots to hboot.
Thanks for the info...
Thanks for more details I'm pretty sure I did let up on the power button thinking it was keeping it from loading. I'll try this out now!!!

[Q] htc one s in CWM bootloop cant enter bootloader

phone :
htc one s
rooted
cyanogenmod
CWM recovery v6.0.5.1
so the story is :
i forgot to charge my phone last night and it ran out of battery and died. when i plug it into charger or PC, it immediately boots into CWM without pressing anything and wont enter anything else. it also doesnt seem to charge in CWM and when i try to power it off, it simply goes into CWM again. simply put, i cant turn it off or charge it. phone was working perfectily fine before.
what i'm trying to do now is trying to boot it into bootloader and try to charge with fastboot script (i did it before) so i can get enough voltage to boot it into the OS. but the phone refuses to enter bootloader by any means and simply goes back into CWM.
tried holding the vol down + power button for 10 secs till it restarts, release power and hold it again while keeping the vol down pressed. but it still enter CWM (usually this is what i do to enter bootloader)
i cant restart to bootloader from CWM either (any buttons to power off, restart, boot to anywhere from CWM simply brings it back to CWM)
holding only the power button till it restarts also brings it back to CWM.
holding the vol down + power button without releasing them simply gives me screen flicker and it loops that way. i assume that made the phone soft reset repeatedly?
holding the vol down + power and releasing power once it resets and tapping power also brings it back to CWM.
here's a simple video showing the phone : youtu.be/PDvskMZIHAM
any help would be appreciated. thanks.
solved : as i noticed that the phone charging led turns on whenever i hold the power button. i tried holding the power button for god knows how long while plugged in. i released it once my finger was tired and cant hold it anymore and it boots into cyanogenmod.

Please tell me why you would like to enter recovery. If you are trying to factory reset, which is basically only option there, you can do that from the OS. However, if you cannot access it, you can access recovery by using this button combo.
Power down your phone, and then hold down the power button and down volume at the same time. I forgot if this is download mode or recovery, but tell me if it works. Don't have my LG V10 on me atm.
I am trying to reset the battery stats.
I tries holding the buttons down, I get the LG logo and then after 20-25 seconds the phone reboots and the logo is displayed again. If I stop holding any of the buttons the phone boots (after AT&T logo).
So it does not work and I don;t know why.
hold power and vol down, when the logo pops up wait 2 secs, then let go of power for about 1 sec, then hold it again.
trick is to not let go of power down the whole time. my phone died on me today, so i had to figure this out.
