Poor audio while recording video - Samsung Infuse 4G

Anyone know of a better video recorder apparently because the audio from the stock video apparently is horrible. I recorded Seether live in concert and the audio was crap compared to my iPhone 4. Dont know if its a setting or what

I to have noticed audio issues. I recorded a live backstage accustic performance of Tim McGraw. When I played it back the audio was horrible, but my wifes iPhone 4 video sounded great!

If you have a Voodoo-sound enabled kernel (which is all of them but stock) then there's a setting for microphone sensitivity in the app.
Which I tested:
For a concert you'll need to go in there and change it to Loud Environment.

Thanks Mike, will give it a try at the Sublime/311 concert

Not working
My problem with video recording regarding the audio is that it starts out just fine on playback and then becomes too low to hear.
Any ideas? Is this what you are experiencing?

Video stopped working all of a sudden

I was watching youtube videos on wifi through the youtube app on high quality then all of a sudden the high quality version will only load with sound, the video will freeze on the first frame. But the low quality plays fine. Then I tried restarting, but that didn't work. Now my videos on my phone won't play either. Help please?

Distorted ringtone

I just recently noticed that my g2x plays songs perfectly through the music player without any distortion but if i apply a mp3 as a ringtone it becomes distorted when i receive calls. i know its not just the file because i have tried multiple songs. anyone else have this problem? any help is appreciated thanks!
I've noticed the same thing. In fact, I have to lower the volume of my ringtone below maximum, or it is weird sounding. But when I play the same mp3 through Music player, I can be full volume without any distortion.
Anyone know of a fix?

i have the same issue as well... if you're using cm7 there is dsp manager so you might want to play around with the settings. I haven't been able to yet, but you might give that a shot.
just fyi i have this problem on both stock and cm7
Same problem here. It almost sounds like the woofer is blown or something. My 10 year old Nokia has better speakers than my G2X.

And it doesn't seem to be a function of whether the speaker sucks or not...because when you play the same mp3 file through any media player, it sounds fine. But when a call is coming in at the same time that the mp3 is being played, it's distorted. It's almost as if the phone is using all of it's resources for the phone call, and only allocating a fraction of what it would normally allow to play the mp3.
I think you are on to something here. I'm surprised there is no fix to this problem yet. Does it not bother everyone else?

Have you found any fix for this, guys?
This phone is REALLY getting annoying... BSOD everytime, distorted ringtone, slow loading and freezes... Duh, wish I waited more and took the SGS2...
Anyone know if it's just mp3's as ringtones that are affected? How about ogg's? If noone else has tried, I"ll try later on.

I need this app right... meow!

Hehe hey guys I need suggestions for a great voice recorder. I need one with excellent sound quality and prefer one that saves as mp3 format. If its a paid one I need it to only cost around 1.49 cents cause I is a broke man. Let me know

You can also record great sound with stock voice recorder combined with voodoo sound. there are high quality options under Recording preset of voodoo.

[Q] audio in recording?

Hello everyone,
I am looking for an app that can record audio IN from the headphone jack. Is this possible to do? I would like it because then I can record my workouts (Insanity videos) from the audio out on the tv and take the recordings with me and use them at like the gym or when I can't put in the actual dvd.
I know there are probably other ways to do it but recording it directly to my phone seems the easiest.
